I want to get a "crawler" style kit ,axial bomber OR capra and use it for fast fun like this vid,all the shops I go to say its not possible,i know it wont handle like a buggy or basher BUT I don't like them anyway. Have you anyinfo on motor/esc and gearing please. Or a different choice,thanks

mn90 can be upgraded to hobby grade really easily n cheaply ...does ok at crawling too once its modded
Its expensive we are poor mn-90 brush motor is not better need 180 motor and the steering its still brush motor i hate it

Witch gearing should I gear my revo 3.3 converted to 6s 17 38 was 50ish with the talons ballooning but it'll be for speed an bashing 19/38-19/40-17/38-17/40-or I have a 25t pinion I have. 54 spur but is have to shave down the chassis to fit the spur. Or will 32pitch hold

ayy i have the axial SCX10 Deadbolt as well! (but not upgraded). had it for around 4 years now. great rig. wicked tough. it just keeps running! when i got it, it was the cheapest decent hobby grade rig you could get. now you can get a redcat one for 200 bucks that is better than it lol

Im building a 1/16 WPL C24 (kit not RTR) with full metal upgrade (axles, gears, suspension, wheels) and a 2S lipo battery, 30amp waterproof ESC, waterproof 2435 6100kv motor, upgraded servo....slowly but surely getting all my parts in from china (waiting sucks!) I am excited to see how it performs compared to larger trucks, but altogether Im looking for something that can crawl, but also has a good bit of top speed. Im hoping this setup will achieve both. Kevin, you should take the WPL that you reviewed and build it up, these trucks are fast becoming very popular and I am seeing a lot of videos about them surfacing. Some guy has one on 3S lipo and it BOOGIES. replacement parts are cheap. They come standard as pretty much toy grade but theres SO many upgrades and mods available, it's hard to really call it a toy grade RC at that point.

The XMaXXs are still the best investment pound for pound..I just sold 5 crawlers all upgraded for $4k.

FULL METAL UPGRADE.. It truely bomb proof. I built the LOSI XLT 3 MONSTER But sold it when offered 2k for it..... Ahhh Yeah !!! Loving the RC .. Keep those wheels a rollin. And air em out. Thanks for the awesome video.
My rc car said a max speed of 50km/h, it wasn’t even close but im so glad it isnt that fast after this video 😂😂
