Ok. I did race once with my buddies 1/10 HPI drift car against a 1/1 mustang. Kicked his ass to 60km then he went by me. Although I think he was afraid that I couldn't keep the car strait and end up running it over. I was afraid that I couldn't keep it strait and swerving into his lane so I rolled into the throttle. hooked up and smoked him. He looked a little shocked. :)
My Rock Rey sucks. Within 2hrs a cv shaft pin and a swing arm pin fell out and destroyed the diff bulkhead and all 4 tires were shredded open. Also, the steering servo will barely even turn the tires unless it's moving. Garbage...Definitely not a hobby grade RC like Team Losi used to make.
I bought the kit so I was able to put in a stout steering servo and some very stiff tire foams. I can do impressive donuts now.I also upgraded the rear upper links and axle housing.
I agree with RCNetwork outro is killer!! You have have a amazing laid back detailed style for lazy dudes. Right on with the laid back approach.thx for your time.✌
This can be largely fixed by tuning the diffs. Clean out the front diff and fill it with the slipperiest grease you can find, and clean out the center diff and fill it with 30k silicone oil.
Her brother. Now there is a kit version.. would you recommend this or a yeti for light bashing duties when I am sick of my 1/8 powered slash 4x4. I want to buy a kit as it comes with upgrades and I have a power plant for it already. note I am in Australia so the kit is $500 and the RTR is $700 About the same price as a yeti.

gpage as we said. It is a pain if you don't have that connector and have existing deans or any other plug. Adapters are not a good idea, over the right plug.
Why isn't a good idea? Especially if the adapter is based on an even better connector like a 5.5mm bullet for example. If you want to do it right, then desolder the EC3 and put on your preferred connector. However, you now have to deal with fit issues with that connector going through the chassis opening. Only other option is soldering EC3 connectors to your batteries, which is going backwards.
gpage because one connector is the best. And again if you don't use the Losi style and want to change it to your style it's not an easy change. You don't want a connector chain, or adapters.
a locked rear diff will make it tip over easy, i had the same problem with my Twin hammers, it wasn't easy but unlocking the rear diff made it 100% better.
