Do you mean as them as final gym leaders? Cause having the 1st gym leader have a mega would be hard to beat, even if you chose fennikin, also i would just say that the lucario fight should be counted as a 2nd part of the gym battle
I think megas should only be on the post game rematch teams. Having them in the story forces you to use a mega, something none of the new pokemon have access to. And megas give such a boost to pokemon that fighting one puts the normal ones at an unfair disadvantage.
@@jeffhirsh5722 no, I mean a disadvantage that's so unfair it's not fun. This is only if you don't have a pokemon that can mega, but that's gonna be a lot of people that only want to use Kalos pokemon. I want the fights to be harder, but if they have a power gap that's really big, they won't be any fun.
I actually have a character who I like to play as in the Kalos Reigon named Amelia! (After Amelia Earhart) Her gym would be in Dendemille town, and she'd bring life to the cold and old town. I liked the idea of her gym having wind currents carrying a suit you have to give the simulation of flight, kinda like indoor parachuting. She would be like Raihan, offically have a Flying type gym, but she actually is all about sky battles and includes levitating pokemon like Mismagius and Weezing! And the mega I decided for her was Aerodactyl, her offical team being something that I'm not entirely sure about, but here is my idea of a full team of hers in like the PWT if that came back: Emolga Mismagius Weezing Bronzong Crobat Mega Aerodactyl
Kalos's missing type users really come into my mind. I can imagine that these trainers would appear in the anime. Also, I think the Ground one could use a Swampert in the anime.
There is one more Town without A gym in kalos Geosenge Town U know This Town with LITERAL graveyard outside The Town with ULTIMATE WEAPON beneath ? *cough ghost gym cough* U could already use The grave There as The gym - trial of some sort (as u do for eugene)
Here's my ideas for Kalos (And Alola) Same places as you said, just new teams. Flying: Starly, Noibat.. Poison: Skrelp, Haunter. Ground: Gible, Rhyhorn, Diggersby. Ghost: Trevanent, Doublade, Banette. Normal: Furfrou, Staraptor, Zangoose, Kangaskahn. Dark: Houndoom, Scrafty, Honchkrow, Tyranitar (My old friend) Alola (Ice and Psychic. Sina and Dexio do not count, as they are just unwanted cameos.) Ice: An ice puzzle in mount Lanakila. The trial is reaching the top, but the whole place has Glalie, Sandshrew, Vulpix and all sorts attacking. You have to find 3 Ice Stone shards and bring them to the summit. When done, a chilling bulk falls from the sky. The Totem comes. Crabominable Crabominable would be LV56, have all it's stats boosted, hold a Red Card and use Ice Punch, Crabhammer, Power Up Punch and Dizzy Punch. It would summon a LV55 Glaceon, who's purpose is to be a pain. It will set up Screens and whittle you down with Ice Shard and Toxic. Psychic: A trivia quiz in Haina Desert. Solve riddles to avoid the pitfalls. Each correct one has you fight a Pokemon, Mainly the Beldum line and Oranguru. At the end, you see the Psychium Z and reach for it, only for someone to snatch it from the trees. The Totem of the Desert, Oranguru. Oranguru would be SUPER Bulky. LV63 (Post Game trial, BTW) With All stats risen, but Defense and Special Defense by TWO Stages. Also, it holds a Bright Powder and uses Calm Mind, Protect, Mirror Coat and Psychic. It summons Claydol and Malamar, who raise it's Defence even more with Claydol's Screens and take down Bug and Dark Types with Malamar's Pluck and Superpower.
I think the ice totem should be alolan sandslash/ninetails, depending on the version. This would make another totem battle that changes depending on the version, and would also go along with the anime, where Lillie found a totem alolan sandslash and 'used' him to defeat a tyranitar with her vulpix . Also, crabominable is part of Hala's team, so it's not a good choice. For the psychic, we have Faba as a specialist, it would be interesting to see him as a captain (of sorts) leading a trial in the Aether Foundation (let's be honest, the psychinium Z being in a desert makes no sense)
@@igorlopes8463. I put the Psychic trial in Haina because that is where the Crystal is in-game. I know what you mean about the Ice trial, but i chose Crabominable because it's the only original ice type in Alola, and Crabrawler evolves on Lanakila. The Alolan forms do make sense, and i know Lillie teamed up with one to defeat Tyranitar (Sad he lost) but i wanted an original Alola Pokemon to be the Totem.
For alola how about you do totem pokemon? Like a totem for bugium-Z, psychicium-z, poisonium-z, etc. Or talk about ones in the future, so maybe some trial captains, guzma for bug in the E4, plumira as 7th or 8th gym leader, and who/what ever you come up with
@@emperorcubone yeah, though it would probably be simple, like you would have to fight bug pokemon that all have bugium-Zs as it seems like those are scattered around the place given that team skull did try and find bugium-zs all over the place, as seen with the chest full of them next to guzma which is your only way to get them, maybe there was a bug trial but then team skull grunts decided to gang up on it and took the crystals, and no the giant bug lost all the bugium-Zs, and what could be ironic is it could be a golisopod, as the other gen 7 bugs are already in other trials (aquarnid in usum, vikavot in sm, and rimbobee in usum)
@@emperorcubone I do believe that the main problem with Alola is having a Type specialist for each type besides Ice. Totem Pokemon for missing types woiuld be far more interesting and can give some more love to missed Alolan Pokemon. Also creating Ally Pokemon to the Totems would be an really interesting idea Here are some of my ideas (which I tried to not duplicate Pokemon used by other Alolan Trainers): Fighting: Passimian Psychic: Orangutao Rock: Minior Poison: Toxapex Steel: A-Sandslash Ice: A-Ninetales Dark: A-Muk Flying: Pom-Pom Oricorio (seems like the most challenging due to lack of Electric weakness) Ground: Pallosand (since Hapu has both A-Dugtrio And Mudsdale) or 10% Zygarde maybe? It's Stats are not that good. Bug: Golisopod (the only fully evolved bug type which is not a Totem yet). Also a strong Pokemon which would work good as a Totem.
I think we have a need for a Normal-Type Gym Leader for Kalos. Here’s my idea: Name: Mallory (you’ll see why soon) Ace Pokémon: Dubwool. Other Pokémon: Greedent, Kangaskhan, and Snorlax. If not Kangaskhan, then Diggersby. Town/City: Postwick Badge Number: 4-6, depending on how many Pokémon available for her Gym Battle. Badge Name: Pasture TM: Body Slam Focusing on Physical Powerhouses, the secret here is that Mallory would introduce you to Hidden Abilities. Snorlax and Greedent with Gluttony, using pinch berries for strong recovery. Kangaskhan would have Scrappy. Diggersby would have Huge Power. Dubwool, while better with Fluffy, would have Bulletproof. This would teach the player about abilities that are less common and that more dedicated and competitive trainers sometimes seek these out. During her conversation, she would mention her family, saying they are mostly Normal-Type Specialists, providing Challengers with Strong, often over powered Normal-Types, but one of her cousins managed to diversify and become a Region Champion. This is twofold. One is world building, two is blatant fan service. In reference to Whitney and her Miltank, Norman and his Slakings, and May as the Hoenn female protagonist that veterans of the series would remember beating the Elite Four and Steven with. No names would be mentioned, which would allow plausible deniability, but the reference would still be there and be a nice nod to fan theories. Thoughts??
Really nice! But the only problem i see is the ace being a gen 8 pokemon, when even in remakes try to ignore pokemon in newer gens, other than times in oras where Glacia got a Froslass and Phoebe got a Dusknoir, but that was for a stronger pokemon and to reduce repeats. My suggestion is to chance the ace to Snorlax, and maybe instead of Greedent and Dubwool, is Pidgeot (Pidgey really common for early routes + coverage for fighting types), and Heliolisk (nice electric/normal type and one of the only new gen 6 normal types.
I think a 16 gym system could work in a Pokémon game, but not like the Johto to Kanto system. Like battling in 8 gyms, doing a tournament to gain access to the next part of the region. And then the next 8 gyms, then the elite 4, then the champion
Your ghost type gym leader should actually have a Froslas considering the area of the map. Dendemill town is in an eerie snowy environment and with a ghost type gym leader it makes more sense. . . . Nevermind, I forgot that Snorunt is only found in the friend safari.
Train gym yes. Ace: Unfezant. Now I here you saying, that’s a horrible choice. My question have you ever gone up against a Lvl 70 Unfezant with max happiness, max friendship, holding a silk scarf, and been hit by Return. To quote Phil Swift, “That’s a lot of damage!”
I'm a year late but for the Ghost type leader, its not in the game but I would put Snorunt in the game and give the Gym Leader a Froslass instead of Golurk for: 1. Its close to the Ice Cavern area s it fits 2. Froslass evolving from Snorunt along with the Mega Banette teases ORAS
Great video, but the knights in the castle doesn't feel like a poison gym. Would have been better with dark, ghost or normal in my opinion. Probably dark because I liked your normal and ghost type gyms.
3:06 Whirlipede doesn't seem like a good choice to me. Not mere one generation later after Poison Type Gymleader Roxie had it as her ace. 6:00 How did that theory ever got popular in the first place? "Hey, we have a region that is Northwest of an earlier one. The trainstation facing east surely leads there." That doesn't sound stupid at all.
I am the missing normal type gym leader of Kalos after Ramos retired, with my gym being located in the battle chateau. Trainers have to get the highest rank in the chateau to be able to challenge me.
I think Iris being a historian will suit the ghost type better and lazarus can have poison because he looks like a ninja in an empty town covered in smoke
I might move the gym locations, normal first (Bland town) second ghost type historical castle (The entire description you were giving just SCREAMS ghost.) third poison (By the sea, the one new poison type is a sea horse, that's all I got for there.) have the windmill town for flying types, then have the trains going into tunnels for the ground gym. Don't really have to give the gym leaders megas since for some reason only on gym leader did the gimmick of that gen (Gen 6 was way too easy)
@@morgankundrick8289 That isn't all the problems with gen 6 (I did have it off) gym leaders with only 3 pokemon while you had 6, no mega evolution aside from the one when you get mega very early on. These are the major problems with gen 6's difficulty
Lillie was hinted to be the missing ice trainer, we already have Faba for the psychic type. Now that I think about it, would be interesting to have a trial at the Aether Foundation
I know I'm late but PLEASE PLEASE DON'T SKIP Alola. Could you at least make them trial captains or something else. I started with Alola so it means something to me.

-Wikstrom=Mega Scizor (because he has one in the anime. also Steelix doesn't match him[plus brock has one] also steven has a metagross so i can't use that)
-Drasna=(this is hard i can't use Salamance[because Zinnia]/i can't Altaria [because Lisia] plus it doesn't fit her/i can't use Garchomp[because Cynthia has one] man this is hard. ummmm i guess Mega Garchomp since it doesn't get the spotlight)sooooo conclusion is Mega Garchomp
-Diantha=Mega Gardevoir(come on she already has one what else could i choose)
---------------
Edit/Note: i made this comment before watching the video so i didn't copy anything if somehow we coincidentally choose the same megas
@@kiwikarp9509 yeah thats the point you should have the disadvantage when going against a gym leader it should be challenging not a walk in the park
I really like how you used the train station as a gym concept.
geosenge is literally right next to a really old graveyard, it's perfect for the ghost gym
True. Though I'd argue it's better for the Rock gym, it was also basically destroyed by the end of the game...
I actually have a character who I like to play as in the Kalos Reigon named Amelia! (After Amelia Earhart)
Her gym would be in Dendemille town, and she'd bring life to the cold and old town.
And the mega I decided for her was Aerodactyl, her offical team being something that I'm not entirely sure about, but here is my idea of a full team of hers in like the PWT if that came back:
Emolga
Mismagius
Weezing
Bronzong
Crobat
Mega Aerodactyl
Kalos's missing type users really come into my mind. I can imagine that these trainers would appear in the anime.
Also, I think the Ground one could use a Swampert in the anime.
There is one more Town without A gym in kalos
Geosenge Town
U know This Town with LITERAL graveyard outside The Town with ULTIMATE WEAPON beneath ? *cough ghost gym cough*
U could already use The grave There as The gym - trial of some sort (as u do for eugene)
Cant wait to see what you do with Alola
I got bored by Among Us memes, so I wanna see some more Pokemon content. Keep up the nice job, dude!
Dark: Houndoom, Scrafty, Honchkrow, Tyranitar (My old friend)
Alola (Ice and Psychic. Sina and Dexio do not count, as they are just unwanted cameos.)
Ice: An ice puzzle in mount Lanakila. The trial is reaching the top, but the whole place has Glalie, Sandshrew, Vulpix and all sorts attacking. You have to find 3 Ice Stone shards and bring them to the summit. When done, a chilling bulk falls from the sky. The Totem comes. Crabominable
Crabominable would be LV56, have all it's stats boosted, hold a Red Card and use Ice Punch, Crabhammer, Power Up Punch and Dizzy Punch.
Ummm... Faba?
I think the ice totem should be alolan sandslash/ninetails, depending on the version. This would make another totem battle that changes depending on the version, and would also go along with the anime, where Lillie found a totem alolan sandslash and 'used' him to defeat a tyranitar with her vulpix . Also, crabominable is part of Hala's team, so it's not a good choice.
For the psychic, we have Faba as a specialist, it would be interesting to see him as a captain (of sorts) leading a trial in the Aether Foundation (let's be honest, the psychinium Z being in a desert makes no sense)
@@DarthMolgy . I don;t care about that creep
Or talk about ones in the future, so maybe some trial captains, guzma for bug in the E4, plumira as 7th or 8th gym leader, and who/what ever you come up with
Well there would at least have to be some sort of trial to go with the Totems...
Also creating Ally Pokemon to the Totems would be an really interesting idea Here are some of my ideas (which I tried to not duplicate Pokemon used by other Alolan Trainers):
Fighting: Passimian
Psychic: Orangutao
Rock: Minior
Poison: Toxapex
Steel: A-Sandslash
Ice: A-Ninetales
Dark: A-Muk
Flying: Pom-Pom Oricorio (seems like the most challenging due to lack of Electric weakness)
Ground: Pallosand (since Hapu has both A-Dugtrio And Mudsdale) or 10% Zygarde maybe? It's Stats are not that good.
Bug: Golisopod (the only fully evolved bug type which is not a Totem yet). Also a strong Pokemon which would work good as a Totem.
Im wondering if this will make the x and y games less bland?
It certainly couldn't hurt!
I’m pretty sure that the anime makes up for the games. But that’s just my opinion.
I think we have a need for a Normal-Type Gym Leader for Kalos.
Here’s my idea:
Name: Mallory (you’ll see why soon)
Ace Pokémon: Dubwool.
Other Pokémon: Greedent, Kangaskhan, and Snorlax. If not Kangaskhan, then Diggersby.
Town/City: Postwick
Badge Number: 4-6, depending on how many Pokémon available for her Gym Battle.
Badge Name: Pasture
TM: Body Slam
Focusing on Physical Powerhouses, the secret here is that Mallory would introduce you to Hidden Abilities.
@@eclipsesexy sorry, I meant Galar. Don’t know why I put Kalos!
@@RedDragonForce2 oh, well never mind almost everything i said, that team is probably a 10/10 considering that
@@eclipsesexy yeah, I even put Postwick for the town. Kalos doesn’t have a Postwick. LOLZ!!
I never noticed how many random empty towns the Kalos region has
I think a 16 gym system could work in a Pokémon game, but not like the Johto to Kanto system.
To quote Phil Swift, “That’s a lot of damage!”
hey, Drizzile guy here again. I couldn't help but notice the lack of Drizzile in this video, Emperor Cubone.
I'm a year late but for the Ghost type leader, its not in the game but I would put Snorunt in the game and give the Gym Leader a Froslass instead of Golurk for:
1. Its close to the Ice Cavern area s it fits
2. Froslass evolving from Snorunt along with the Mega Banette teases ORAS
Great video, but the knights in the castle doesn't feel like a poison gym. Would have been better with dark, ghost or normal in my opinion. Probably dark because I liked your normal and ghost type gyms.
Can't wait for the Alola episode!
Oh wait...
There's only 1 missing type user in Alola, Ice. And Gen 7 is where missing type specailists starts to get more regonized.
Well, I guess making specialists for every type but one would make ppl realize that
Shouldn't the ghost gym leader be in the casttle facility? You kwno, armor in the castle and then sword and armor like pokemon in the leader's team...
I think in the anime there were fire, water, and flying badges… in that order lol
I feel accomplished
In anime there were a fire, water and flying badge
I really hope you don’t skip Alola just because it doesn’t have gyms
I adore that youre adding so many women characters, you love to see it
My phone's ringtone is the main X and Y theme, so the end of this video really confused me! 🤦
Wait a minute ambret town has a gym where do you think the rock gym is located the gym is just above a hill
Well I think it's in Cyllage City, which is a different town...
I don't understand why u did not mention geosenge town
Oh Arceus, why are unleashing Mega Kangaskhan onto casual trainers?
I might move the gym locations, normal first (Bland town) second ghost type historical castle (The entire description you were giving just SCREAMS ghost.) third poison (By the sea, the one new poison type is a sea horse, that's all I got for there.) have the windmill town for flying types, then have the trains going into tunnels for the ground gym. Don't really have to give the gym leaders megas since for some reason only on gym leader did the gimmick of that gen (Gen 6 was way too easy)
Don't use the exp. Share for the gen 6 is too easy part
@@morgankundrick8289 That isn't all the problems with gen 6 (I did have it off) gym leaders with only 3 pokemon while you had 6, no mega evolution aside from the one when you get mega very early on. These are the major problems with gen 6's difficulty
Shouldn't Arya have an Emolga?
For Alola, definitely Psychic and Ice since thier Z Moves are never taught. So trial captain Lillie and Oranguru?
Lillie was hinted to be the missing ice trainer, we already have Faba for the psychic type. Now that I think about it, would be interesting to have a trial at the Aether Foundation
Lillie & Snowy the Alolan Vulpix/Ninetales for the trial captain of ice is pure win.
I think the Ghost type specialist should have been Fantina. She clearly came from Kalos.
That’s something I thought about since the first time I played gen 4
@@nazeersadek6705 you thought of kalos back in gen 4? Your psychic!! (I know what you were trying to say but the way you worded it was funny)
where are the character models from?
All over really, but all from Pokemon based games, usually lesser appreciated NPC classes...
Am I the only one that forgot about sky battles until he mentioned it?
I guarantee that you are not...
Mega Pidgeot would be better cause it Mega Pinsir would probably be taken by Violla
Ive heard game freaks making a reboot of x and y with improvements? Saw it on a fb post...can anyone confirm this???
No what you saw what a leak of their gen 6 and gen 7 plans and it shows that they had plans for Pokémon Z which was scrapped later on
Nice!!!..
Somebody tell how az still alive
They must’ve been fired for using Pokémon with 4 moves instead of 3 because it was “too hard” for the kids
😂🤣
Ah the elite 5 I- I mean 4, but theres 5 so 4 no 5
Budew
Edit: or should i say Togepi!
Alola should be trial captains
I mean, yeah... They'll have to be right?
Diggersby as an ace 😶🥵😱🤢
I know I'm late but PLEASE PLEASE DON'T SKIP Alola. Could you at least make them trial captains or something else. I started with Alola so it means something to me.
I mean the better title for the series is Missing "Type Specialists" but Gym Leaders just gets the point across quickly. So yes, Alola will be coming...
What video software do you use...
Kalos is boring, because of the utter lack of a high number of brand new Pokémon
That's not exclusive to Kalos though; Gens 7 and 8 were the same way, and presumably every generation from now on...
@@emperorcubone isn’t that sad?
@@macwelch8599 it is probably so they just go and reach 1,000 pokemon in the dex, pain to catch and pain to program in
@@morgankundrick8289 it should not be too hard to just do a brand new Pokémon region only populated by Regional Form Pokémon, right? That’s what I was thinking about, 165 Regional Form Pokémon
@@morgankundrick8289 that’s not an excuse when you’re talking about the number 1 most grossing franchise in the world. They can easily hire as much people as they want to make sure the games they produce is of a high quality and have enough content in them
Good
Hi
To be honest you made me realize why kalos teams are so small and they doesnt utilize mega evolution. Because they would be extremely op . Im really glad kalos has the difficulty as it has which makes for a great pleasurable adventure that it is. Kalos is simply amazing.
Mega Gengar was introduced in ORAS.
Btw, Pinsir doesn't become part Flying.
I have never understood this; it would take less time to Google that and see that you're mistaken then trying to correct the proper information...
@@emperorcubone Wait! What? Since when is Mega Pinsir part Flying? I always was under the assumption it stayed pure Bug, but only its ability effected its flying moves. Welp, seems like i am incorrect.
