I’m looking at a Ford 3400 tractor with an auburn trencher on the back. If I purchase it, I’d like to remove the trencher and convert the tractor back to three point. Now, I’m a young buck so I don’t know what I’m doing, but from what I read, the trencher was installed with a auxiliary transmission to reduce the gears. Any idea what parts I’d need to convert back to three point? Thanks
Best to send me photos of the tractor so I can see what is still on it. Kirk641@embarqmail.com You're basically going to need topcover 3pt arms, PTO and support, Pump manifold. if tractor has some of this you might not need it all.
@@kirk-nj6344 The pictures posted by the seller leave much to the imagination as to what the tractor already has in place as far as hydraulic pumps, top covers, etc. When I spoke to him on the phone he did say it had a working pto. I think I can see a draft control lever on the right of the seat (the right when sitting on the seat). If it’s indeed draft control, I’d like to think it retained some hydraulic components.
