It's not actually house wrap, it is 1/4" thick insulation that is used to "float" the vinyl siding across uneven surfaces (the old wood siding under it). It doesn't really provide any insulation value.
@@radozeman ahh okay, that makes more sense. I’ve seen other homes that are usually Being remodeled on the outside with that material and I’ve wondered why they put it on there. Kinda sucks that it has no R value though.
