The "Spice king" is probably the most down-to-earth, pragmatic, realistic person in the whole show.
Totally!! And sasstastic to boot 😋
Seriously. A lot of reactors act like he's unreasonable. But really Danerys has been channeling her brother sine they got to the gates. Expecting everyone to treat her like royalty just because of her last name, despite having no real power.
@@FulcanMal yup. Blows my mind how many people act like she's all sweetness and perfect. And she may have been the freerer of slaves, but funny how she frees people that have huge armies to get on side. Not all nice. I'll admit,I thought she could do no wrong. Then I noticed more about her power hungry behaviour the more times I watched the show.
"With fire and blood I will take it!"
"Yes, but not with my ships."
Gods, I love the sass in that man.

Best reply 😂
Harrenhal is supposed to be cursed by the ghost of Black Harren who built it and got burned alive in it during Aegon's conquest. His ghost allegedly roams the castle, bringing misfortune and bad luck to anyone who stays there, so yeah, the mysterious deaths orchestrated by Arya's new friend could be easily seen as "the curse" manifesting by superstitious people.
Non-spoiler background follows:
The real reason for the bad luck that's dogged a succession of owners of Harrenhal is that Aegon took most of it's lands away, so the castle's remaining lands don't generate enough income to even rebuilt it (it's huge: the biggest in Westeros), let alone make it a power in the land again. It tends to be given away by the king as a "reward" for services rendered by second-tier noble families, but it's really a double-edged sword because the cost of trying to run it effectively beggars them and stops them from becoming more powerful. They tend to find themselves playing in the top-tier of the political "game" with second-tier resources, and that's a very dangerous situation, where any amount of "bad luck" can happen to you, particularly if somebody more powerful is motivated to arrange it for you...
Said to be able to garrison a million men, I don't think that "huge" is sufficiently generous an adjective to describe Harrenhall 😅
Yeah its a poisoned apple, to put it mildly. Even the Lannisters taking it during war time could only keep a fraction of it garrisoned and maintained, with only the bottom half of one of the five towers being used. Only reason they are there at all is because of its strategic location.
Also to add to the "curse" is that every house that has received it since the conquest has gone extict. I think 5 different houses have gone extict after getting Harrenhal before the timeline of the show.
@@Ottawajames Probably an exaggeration, but still, yes it is HUGE.
Great analysis.
I love how Lindsay is just so confident in her answers 😂
So confident 🫢
Poor Lindsay, she's still a sweet summer child.
Lindsay has me 😂😂😂😂😂😂 she definitely is still a SSC
Fun Fact, Ashley & Lindsay.
The actress, Rose Leslie who played Ygritte is the real life wife of Kit Harington who played Jon Snow.
"one of Theon's biggest weaknesses is the thing between his legs" is a better piece of foreshadowing than anything after season 5 in this show
"My cupbearer can read better than you". Tywin intends this as a insult, but it's actually accurate 😂
Odin casually strutting by the camera when there's brutal fighting sounds coming from the show is a goat thing to do 😎
🐈⬛
That mewing timing at 22:48 though. Glorious. ^^
He’s a comedic genius 😹
The kitty in the background like, "Are you guys OKAY..?"
"It wasn't Harren, Arya wanted to say, it was me. She had killed Chiswyck with a whisper, and she would kill two more before she was through. I am the ghost of Harrenhal, she thought. And that night, there was one less name to hate."
- A Clash of Kings, Chapter 30: Arya VII
Arya is supposed to be The Ghost of Harrenhal.
That cat is my favorite part of this reaction
Lindsay was talking when Arya answered the question of "what killed her father?".... the answer: "Loyalty".... don't go into long talks about an issue that is bothering you or you will miss lots of unique lines.
Sir Rodrick's final words: "Gods help you, Theon Greyjoy. Now you are on their hate list."
😆
I am very impressed by the quality of your mic. I Wear headphones, and every time some noise happens behind your tv, I look behind me, even if I hear Odin. I should know that there is no cat in my room, but every time I look behind me, the illusion is just perfect...
🤣 in this video you’re also hearing my little tabby Freyja!
23:01 - "I feel like he's going to rygritte this..."
For all the crap Dan and Dave get, they did make some changes that improved the books. In the books, Arya is with Roose Bolton instead of Tywin.
Yes the Arya/Tywin scene are fantastic!!
@@MugShotzReacts Maisie Williams, who played Arya, adored doing those scenes with Charles Dance, who's a veteran and highly respected actor. She said it was like a having a personal, bespoke acting class.
Book spoiler, don't scroll down if you don't want to be spoiled !!
Ghost of Harrenhall refered to Arya in the books. Not only was she the one of was directing the death of peoples there, but she was also doing some mischievous things that were being refered as "Ghost of Harrenhall" doings. Maybe it's been too long since I've read the books, but that's what I remember for this part. Really liked the Arya in Harrenhall part :)
Correct. I was going to say the same thing if the question hadn't been answered in the comments. She was the ghost of Harrenhal; all the way up to 'weasel soup' and beyond!
@@thecockerel86 Was so eager to see if the serie would be able to catch the distress of people in Harrenhall fearing the Ghost. Should have known they couldn't make them stay there long enough for it. In the end, I think the title is much more of a nod to the book readers.
The ghost is actually Arya herself if I'm not mistaken.
The cat meowing during the silence before Jon "kills" Ygritte was perfection.
13:55A curiosity from real life - beheading is not that easy, that's why in the old days there was a special profession of an executioner who was trained how to hit the sword between the vertebrae to easily decapitate the head, in addition, executioner's swords were large and specially weighted to generate greater force when swiped.
Even in the times of the French Revolution, the first guillotines were often unable to behead heads at once, only later they were improved.
So decapitating with an ordinary sword without knowing how to do it exactly is not easy in reality.
So interesting!!
The implications are so horrible…
The Ghost of Harrenhal is a reference to the books. Because Harrenhal is supposed to be haunted by the various people who lived or died there. But Arya thinks that's all nonsense. She's the real Ghost of Harrenhal because she can kill people with a single whispered name.
Jaqen H'ghar's second kill might be my favorite part of the entire series. He has to kill a man with only a name and vague location, in a matter of minutes, and get away with it. Not only does he succeed, but it creates a very comical moment.
Jacquin Hagar: "A girl cannot tell a man when he must do a thing"
Um I have been married and have a daughter... they certainly can and do sir
🤣🤣🤣
🐾🐱 @23:19 You have the fluffiest black cat! (S)He had the best sound reaction to Jon trying to execute Ygritte!
Hope you ladies have a wonderful weekend. Fun fact the woman that played ygritte (rose leslie) is now Jon Snow's (Kit Harrington) wife
Each character has a great quote that represents him like : ''E = mc²''
You must watch Vikings with Odin😂
YESSS
If you do react to Vikings or The last Kingdom...I'm in!@@MugShotzReacts
Hey Stefani, did Odin really purr when Jon Snow missed. That was hilarious.
Yes he did! 😂
while joffrey is getting more and more hated, the opposite is happening with the hound! who would have guessed that?..
It's always fun for me to rewatch these scenes while remembering some of the controversies from the end of the series.
So many people seem to have selective memory.
Truly! The signs were there!!
The Ghost of Harrenhall has multiple meanings. Arya’s new murderous pal is one ghost. But Harrenhall is supposed to be haunted by its builder, Harren the Black, who Aegon the conqueror fried along with his castle.
It’s Arya. The episode title is an Easter egg to book readers. It will make no sense to show-only fans.
Taking notes is pointless 😂 imagine sitting down to watch a tv show and taking notes like you'll be tested on it 🤣
Maybe I will test them 🤣
I know I’m late on this but just some thoughts for the future…Stefani, you know what is about to happen so during an important part when Lindsay wants to talk about it you should pause the show cause they miss some important info and sayings, for example when Tywin was talking to Arya and he asked her what killed her father and she said “loyalty”, I feel some things are really poignant and important & they should hear it. Just sayin. Good luck with the channel and be well ❤
Folks love to say that Littlefinger knew that was Arya, but there is no indication that he did. In fact, in a later season, he even says something along these lines.
I agree. No way Littlefinger takes the chance of Tywin discovering her identity himself and then blaming Balish for not saying anything. He would have served her right up on a platter. He did a double take looking at her, but he didn’t know it was Arya.
Fun little fact if you ladies aren't aware, but the woman who plays Talisa, the one who Rob is interested in, is Charlie Chaplins' granddaughter in real life.
Another awesome reaction, and I think that hate list of Ashley's is only going to grow.😂
The red woman did say “shadows are the servants of light, for they are born of flame” or somthing like that
I like how everyone is blown away by how many god's there are. But it's no different to real life. There's so many it's kinda nuts. And the main cause of wars and sh*t. It's just different gods.
All the “yeahs” at 28:53 😂❤
Yeah
Jon Snow and Ygritte are married in real life and got a kid haha
2 kids
He's not going to regret this . . . he's going to Ygritte this! 😁😁
. . . . I'll get my coat.
1. I love the Spice King. It's a terrific performance by Nicholas Blane. (I always like to give these supporting actors a name and a round of applause.)
2. Emilia never looks more beautiful than she does here, in her Qarthian clothes and hair.
3. I've always taken the Ghost Of Harrenhal to be Jacqen, but it could apply to Arya too.
4. The scene with Littlefinger is so well done and so tense that often people don't listen to what Tywin and LF are planning. Basically they're re-jigging the war while Arya tries not to be seen.
Always a delight when these pop up.
🤣
@@MugShotzReacts Thanks for the laugh, I'm here all week.
47:30 que the next humble pie lol
also ty Steph for the kitty transition at 26:00 XD

@@MugShotzReacts rofl so good
Shoes? LOL.
i love daddy jon, theon, the hound, jorah, arya, bran, and dany. you gotta understand that theon was a hostage himself too, you may hate him now, but just wait. he has one of the best stories. btw jon and ingrid are married together in real life.
There is a book theory about the riot scene with joffrey and Co. That says that one of the background people who got dismembered turned into a horse. Its a low level lannister.
good one
2:20 Without light there can't be shadows, just saying 🤪.
“💩snowball! “ 😂😂😂
Poor Ser Rodrick. Unfortunately beheadings were often botched in real life too, but usually with axes. Margaret Pole was hit 11 times with an axe before she was finally beheaded 😳
🫣
He's gonna regret this, or he's gonna Ygritt this?
Yep: if you want to lead a man around , it's not his nose you lead him by... 😉
🤣
😉 One of you takes lots of notes yet still remembers almost nothing of people's names, places, etc.
Are you guys from Canada? The way Ashley said “against” at 25:24 sounded Canadian
🇨🇦 oh yeah!
Qarth is the Dubai of Essos. It is at the confluence of all trade between east and west, and that is what gives it the wealth and status.
Your cat wasn't impressed with Jon Snow. Called him a wimp for not cutting Ygritte's head off!
I always think the last scene of this episode is one of the more iconic episode enders of the show.
🤭
Jon Snow does not behead Ygritte.
Ashley: "Oh, I feel like he's going to regret this." -- Me: Was that "Regret this" or "Ygritte this"?
Dany: "WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS ?!?!?" -- Lindsay: "With the guy who stole Jorah's shoes."
I have a black cat that looks just like Odin... Bruce Wayne... also known as Brucifer and a few other not fit for polite company names... he's the face of pure evil
Brucifer!! Love it! We also call Odin, Odie, or the Prince of Darkness as well as some other names when he is being bad… 😼
22:48 ❗️🐈⬛️
My theory: White walkers cant run. They were called Walkers initially as literal. They can only pace at the same speed all show. Desicions they make take that into account. Like throwing a svered head on episode 1, the white walker coulnts be bother to walk all that just to give him a head. Check all w.w scenes... ill wait.
Hmmmmm Hardhome?
@@MugShotzReacts thats one of my main evidences. In harthome, notice how the W.W. jon kills:
1- pishes him to the first floor.
2- jumps down and chases jon slowly.
3- when everyones at the boats, then the leutenants start killing the rest, still walking slowly.
@@MugShotzReacts at the battle of winterfell.. jon confronts the night king, the night king raises his hands to raise the dead. Why? Well he cant run, and he isnt gonma stand there while jon charges.
Then what does he do?.. he keeps walking slowly towards bran. All the generals also go walking slowly towards brand.
Everh single w.w scene, they make desicions counting on that.
I think the ghost of Harrenhall could be a different use of the word ghost. Ghost as in a faint representation instead of a haunting figure; as in Harrenhall is a ghost of its former self.
And to help out Lindsay there are cow pies and horse apples.
Love the reactions, and very much looking forward to their reactions to Ygritte, my favorite character in the entire show.
Pretty sure it's referring to a killer ghost. But obviously it's not actually a ghost, it's Jaqen/Arya. I think in a time like that, in a creepy castle like Harrenhal, it'd be pretty normal to think it was haunted. Then if people start dying with no obvious evidence of a killer or a motive, then people would put two and two together and think it was a real ghost killing people.
Edit: there's also a long history of murder mysteries where people think the murderer is a ghost, but it turns out to be a living person. It's basically a trope at this point. So I'd say the title is almost certainly referring to that and not Harrenhal itself, seeing as the history is barely mentioned and it being a shadow of its former self doesn't play into the narrative much.
It’s an Easter egg for book readers. It’s Arya.
Next season will be brutal. Hope you ready.
😬
I don't remember the cats in GOT? ;)
Ser Pounce is offended!
😹
Arya chased cats when Syrio was training her.
Theon failed to chop of Ser Rodricks head bnot becuse of dulness of the blade, but by weakness of heart
I think it simply illustrates Theon’s ineptitude.
ofcourse, ineptitude comes form weakness of heart and will and courage, which Theon all lacks, and it all translates into his behadeing whichh he was too weak to do too unsure to do and scared,Theon is good warrior mate as u can see in last season, but in Rodrick situation he was shaking to do it just look at him@@GeorgeEugeneBarrett
VOID CAT ALERT, VOID CAT ALERT
Hi Odin
I can't watch this without thinking of Bad Lip Reading
Stefani, I doubt its possible ( real life commitments & work load ) at this time but is there any chance you three would be able to react to another series ( love you ladies and need to see more ) each week along side of Game of Throne" ?
Have you seen Breaking Bad & its spinoff Better Call Saul ?
Some other possible reaction series to consider are ....
Chernobyl
Lost
Ozark
Reacher
Yellowjackets
Cobra Kai
Midnight Mass
Band of Brothers
The Handmaid's Tale
Interview With the Vampire
The Haunting of Hill House
The Haunting of Bly Manor
The Fall of the House of Usher
The Walking Dead
On another note would you three like to make this channel a full time job ... or ... will it just be a fun side hobby ?
At this time we only have time for GOT, but definitely we want to react to other series in the future! These are fantastic suggestions 🥰 if it was feasible doing this full time would be really cool, but we are no where near replacing our incomes!
The never show Theon bathing, I bet he Reeks.
🥴
lol good one
First
I know I’m in the minority but, Theon is actually my favourite character in all of games of thrones.
He has a FANTASTIC arch!
You may be in the minority, but you are not alone. Alfie Allen killed this role.
you guys need more content if you want to keep people on patreon. 11 bucks for one video a week is pretty steep when you can get Disney or any streaming service for that. Love ya but you're damned expensive to patronize.
32:30 For those that hate the ending... You were not paying attention. HERE IT IS
Definitely!! The signs were there!
I personally never had an issue with where it ended, just the rushed pace to get there in the last season or two. Even a couple extra episodes could have gone a long way to showing how the characters rounded out their arcs.
Keep in mind Baelish is obsessed with Sansa because she looks like Cat. Arya looks like Lyanna Stark. So it's unlikely that he recognized her.
Littlefinger definitely realized in the end that it was Arya. As soon as he clocks it, he switches the conversation to be about Catelyn, almost as if to let Arya know that he knows what's up.
He didn’t know. He would have told Tywin to gain favor.
Littlefinger doesn’t know that was Arya. Yes, he took a second look at her, but if he had truly known it was Arya, he would have most certainly told this to Tywin to gain his favor.
The ghost of Harrenhall refers to the red woman lady Melisandra, I just telling 😊 it's my theory and I can not explain more.
