I just don’t get why they didn’t do Bloodraven, especially now that HOTD is having to retcon him in.

I always took the beetle story to be an analogy for G.R.R.M being the one smashing the beetles to no end and the beetles are our favorite characters or people in the book that we enjoy. As we all follow the story of ASOIAF with deep analysis and prediction….in the end of the day it’s just about Martin taking the piss and enjoying shattering our hearts and desires for the characters.

Spoilers Arya later says that she didnt kill the hound because he was no longer on her list. She tells the faceless guys that twice. One by saying the opposite and getting hit with a stick for lying, and the second one she says it straight up.

My friends I absolutely love watching you and I will continue but I gave you a thumbs down for one reason it's because of Ingrid and Jon Snow why you cut it so short it was such a beautiful moment in that film and I know you probably didn't mean to do it on purpose but when they said do you know why I know she loved you you just cut it you didn't let the scene run it was one of the most powerful scenes in my opinion with Jon Snow and Ingrid that needed more attention so for that I had to do it please don't hate me

Often times I feel like Ashley seems (for lack of a better term) disinterested, but this episode put that thought to rest. They were on the edge of their seats during the Brienne v Sandor fight. This episode had the best reactions yet. Keep them coming!

Such a shame we never got the backstory on Bloodraven in the main series. Worse that he doesn't look anything like the real Brynden Rivers. Hopefully we'll get to him in Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

Stef and Lindsay both referred to the scene of Arya leaving the Hound to die as "stone cold", I was just like "hell yeah 😎". Thanks for the shoutout lol. It's even more fitting because this might be my favorite scene of the show, it hit especially hard the first time I watched it because I loved both characters so much. The more the Hound tried to provoke and beg her to kill him, the more emotional I got. When she walked away I was like "Daaaamn, that was coldblooded, but I get it". Just like the 3 of you were giving different takes of that scene, I had many similar thoughts and emotions for both of characters in that moment. Great story writing, dialogue, acting, camera work, all of it amazing. I love a big set piece battle, but character moments like this hit so much harder than good battles.

Never seen another show build up two characters like Brienne and the Hound, make you LOVE them, then have them fight each other leaving the audience screaming NOOO the entire time. That's probably the most intense 1 on 1 in the whole show for me just based off of that. You don't want either one of them to lose, but someone has to win.

I remember thinking these 2 were gonna get together romantically after this fight, just cuz it was Thrones lol
