It was filmed in Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Croatia, morroco, Scotland, malta.... they actuality used real places and added green screen to certain things.. and used the studio in Ireland for some stuff as well.

Stop giving them all the answers right away! It’s part of the GoT experience to wonder what’s happening. Finding out that it was Danny’s brother was a disturbingly fun experience they found out too soon
idk i think she’s telling them the right things. i wouldve wanted someone like that to guide me through this show the first time, but i guess it’s personal preference!!
I think Stefani did good on most of the information she gave, it was harmless, and it´s obvious she´s trying not to spoil anything.. but I agree about the Viserys/Dany part, there is a timing of the show for us to realize they are brother and sister

Not sure if others have suggested yet, but it REALLY helps to turn on the subtitles to get everybody's names and the places and dialog that you might otherwise miss. Recommended.

you can tell from the comment volume that people LOVE a new GOT reaction...theres so much we can't tell you, so much that, AFTER you see it, makes sense, so many characters that rise or fall, sometimes in ways that make you swoon, and other times in ways that make you furious. It's as addictive as movie theater popcorn...a few nibbles is just not enough. I envy you the journey you are about to begin.

And I recommend that you pay attention to the animated intro, as it is always adapted specifically for the episode. It always shows you which locations will appear in the episode, which in turn will help you to remember their names and to know where they are.
Otherwise it can all be very overwhelming.
This was a lot of fun. Stephanie has a tough job, in being the one who knows the show, but so far she is doing a great job keeping them on track, but not spoiling things. That can be very tough. I look forward to seeing the rest of the reactions. The first little bit definitely throws a lot at you.

So you had wanted to watch GoT since the 70s, and GRRM didn’t get the first book finished and published until 1996. Yeah, that actually checks out when it comes to waiting for him now.

Yeah. It's a learning curve. There's no clear rules on how much GoT content (video/audio) you can get away with, so we're playing it safe for now.

I love that their is a book reader here. Obviously or nobody would know that all the children were much younger than in the books.
I really hate it when the person who has seen the show before spoils shit right before the show reveals it. It ruins the pacing off the experience of watching it for the first time. Why would you tell them it its her brother, when Visery’s himself will tell them in a moment? Let the information reveal itself in the time the writers have chosen to do so. It is one thing to explain something already revealed on the show they missed or didn’t quite understand, but please don’t make yourself the one who tells them all the shocking twists. Let those twists reveal themselves. Was still a very enjoyable reaction video, to be clear. I’ve watched it with newbies myself, and sometimes its is hard to contain oneself.
Btw...the winter/nights watch sets are in ICELAND, as well as "back lots/studio".

I LOVE seeing people introduce GOT to their friends. The knowing looks to the camera when the sweet summer children guess things and say something innocent are the best.
Along with the notebooks to keep track of people, I would suggest a map to help them get a handle on where everybody is. Seems to help other reactors lol.

@@MugShotzReacts If I'm not mistaken, half hour shows can use about 10mins for fair use, with hour shows doing okay with 15-20 mins. I don't usually watch movies, so I'm not sure about their fair use averages. I do know that each segment shown can be about 20-30 secs long without issue. Of course, the whole thing is arbitrary and some reactors can show more than others for unknown reasons. I'm about to watch your reaction and may realize that you are already following those guidelines. If so, apologies!

ALSO I think they should know that pretty much season 1 is just the prologue setting everything up…so it is a bit slow at first. But it is all necessary for all of the insanity that takes place in future episodes. Not that there isn’t any excitement at all
I hope you're using subtitles. It will certainly help with understanding things. Especially since everyone seems to be so chatty, and subtitles will cut down on the chatter. You can you know play the audio of the series during brief glimpses of the video.
