If you're a server/waiter...
1.) Use a cloth or napkin when pulling the cork out from the bottle so that your hand doesn't make contact with the lip
2.) If you do get cork debris in the bottle you better get another bottle...
3.) When cutting the foil cap make sure that the label is always facing your guests

Dude I've been drinking wine for a lot of years (i am 31) an you cannot imagine how clumsy I was at opening bottles. And I used to see waiters opening it so smoothly, like in this video for example, and I looked at it like magic haha. Hopefully I added some more class to my wine-opening skills after this video haha :)

So my wife and I like to travel. We started off bringing our own bottle opener. We started off in paris trading the waiter ours for his. Then we started trading his for others. I dont even remember them all. But it fun to trade bottle openers when we travel.

I'm going to argue this here. A waiter's friend is not the most efficient. I can open a bottle of wine in under 3 seconds with a Rabbit. It takes a lot longer with a waiter's friend. However, it's not as classy looking.

its a very easy way to open a bottle of wine on the back area, how ever you can not use it in fine dining restaurant on front of the guest because its more casual out of 5stars standards
