I opened a $195 bottle of champagne the other night and did it improperly and about a 1/4 cup of the champagne bubbled out. I’m really lucky the guests didn’t complain. Now I will open champagne properly. Thank you 🙏🏻
Hehe, it is part of the job! The good thing is that you came here, learned and now you are ready to roll! You got lucky, though, if the guests didn't complain! Best of luck!
Good morning, sir. My name is Sachin. I am from Goa india, and I have worked in the last 20 years Hotel and in Service, I j like to thank you for nice video I kearn lots from you ❤
i always excaited whenever i watch you videos, Mr. Ned because i always learnd something new from you. usually i watch it 2 times, the first to listen and understand the lesson and the second is to write it down the point or the new knowlange. i am really thanks full for you.
I appreciate you saying that Salaar! YOu definitely got the job because of who you are it is not because of the teachings but I hope it helps off course! This is why I am doing it! Best of luck to you!
I will suggest practice once and twice first. If you need to open a bottle for champagne by a glass, make sure you do it so you have some experience! Then go for the guest! Good luck!
thoughts on holding the glass up at an angle toward the bottle when pouring? I was taught to do this since the champagne running smoothly down the inside of the glass causes less agitation/foam and a smoother pour than leaving the glass on the table.
@@patrickthobias5276 yes, pour a small amount of wine into host's champagne glass, like two sips. After his approval pour the glass with adequate amount. If there is a woman, after host's approval, walk clockwise and pour the woman first and then walk clockwise and pour others.Always walk clockwise when serving and always follow the "ladies first" rule.
