I use a similar script and teach it but the problem that most people don’t give a deep answer. They will answer with something on the surface and when you try to dig deep you will come as a sales guy or just pushing them to open also may lead to them closing. And this is when they kind of feel comfortable on the call. So prior to this script you have to build trust and authority to come as someone that can solve a problem. Without this the script won’t work.
Such a good insight. As you mentioned, building trust first before the call allows you to dig deep and ask those questions without sounding too "salesy". A while back, I was on a call, and someone was trying to sell me a design course. The guy was very friendly, but I think he kept asking too much about my goals, dreams, aspirations, where I want to be in 5 years etc. Nothing wrong with questions but for someone I just met, this was too deep and sounded too scripted lol
In other talks Chris gives he also says you don't want just any customer, it's a lot easier to sell to someone who actually wants your services, maybe that also just isn't the right client
Chris does mention in the video that part of the equation is that his training coach started with consistently posting content, building a following and achieving defined six pack abs to create social proof to build trust and authority
I disagree. I bet your tonality is way off so they’re give a surfaceanswer. The if you ask the question more considered, a little slower with some inquisitiveness behind it and emphasise the main word in the question. You’ll usually always get a deeper answer. Asking it quickly or like a normal question will get you a surface answer
“The greatest education in the world is watching the masters at work” - Michael Jackson Chris you are a complete universe in a human body and bro I like your observation and listening skills

Genius sales script! The best part is when you were asked why it is not lower on a scale of 1 to 10. It reinforces why the person buying feels they need to make the sale. Most people would expect to be asked why it is not higher-but that would reduce the chances of a successful sale.
This is the most typical high ticket / consultative sale there is and it is that way because it works. We call the 1-10 a temp check. Then we get 3 micro commitments about the program and all of a sudden you have an alignment / consitency issue. If they can commit to 1, 2 and 3 and they just explained away their reasoning. By not doing the program they are out of alignment. And since most people say 7 or 8 we just ask them why not a 2. Gives them a nice gap to fill. Another great question instead of just why... Is "why is this important now?"
This video is super educational and I believe this is the approach I need to take in my business... I'll give this approach a go and give a review later

I can use this on other people, but I am too critical to fall for it as a customer myself. I pretty much have prices in my mind for everything before I talk and getting me on such a ridiculous price for a trainer for something I can learn online would be laughable. Then again, I am a DIY guy so Im a hard sell for life. I can see why Chris is successful because he can talk, and he is charming.
