Understand the difference between assets and liabilities. 6. Finally, if it is the stock market, learn how to select stocks, read Benjamin Graham's 'The intelligent investor', and apply. What worked for me was simple idea to keep buying Berkshire Hathaway b shares when they became available. I have dividends paying stocks in my portfolio, but brk.b outpaced everything else by far. Good luck.

I’m a month late but I appreciate your book recommendations. They are unique and go beyond the mass-popular books. I don’t understand why people are complaining about time.. More than 40% of you will never read one of these amazing books. Keep up the great work man
Does any of these books help you financially worldwide or they just make sense in some powerful economies like USA, China, UK and so on? Genuine question here. I see that a lot of this mindset and strategies doesn't work in some economys, and moving to a more economically strong/powerful country, most of the time, isn't an option. I wounder how universally this can be.
5:55 I love the points made there. I read awaken the giant by Tony Robbins and early in the book the use of the word decide was a focus. If your shy like all shy people you may think "I want to be confident" but if you want to be more confident you have to word it differently to override the subconscious mind. So instead say "I decide to be confident" or as I change it slightly to "I decide to not be shy anymore". I decide to not let the people of my past control my future". Say these to yourself and see the immediate change
Hey, I'm going to trust you and read all of this books this year, I hope I'll be a better person than last year by completely reading this. Thank you for the recommendations.

12:44 I think the more difficult something is, the more likely reading a book on it will help. You don't need to read a book on riding a bike because it's a kinesthetic skill and it's incredibly simple in concept.
Thank you for small tid bits of info instead of just saying that. when you said to stop breaking promises espically to yourself you just snapped me out of buying weed. Thank you so much dude.

@@AnthonyVicino yeah, it’s funny you mention Alex Hormozi; I have both of those books and I actually attended his $100M Leads Live. I think both you and Alex Hormozi are the best financial/business/entrepreneurial TH-camrs. Keep up the great work!
Amazing recommendations. Thank you! Would be very helpful if you made a video on what method you use to read a book and get most from it. Do you make notes? Read it multiple times? What if you start losing concentration or are too tired? I think reading a book the proper way is one of the most important skills a person can develop, if not the most important one. Absorbing the knowledge from a book, adding it to the mental model (or being open minded enough to allow it to challenge your mental model), getting back to it (reading the notes made while reading it?), is what changes habits, and thus makes a person better. So yes... A video on what's your method on reading books would be very helpful :)
I kind of talk about How to Read Better in the beginning section of this video: th-cam.com/video/tlpGzAzwAZY/w-d-xo.html It's not exactly what you're looking for, but you might find it useful for now until I can get around to making another video on reading! :)
My 3 recommendations : 1. Atomic Habits by James Clear, which is great for fixing your daily routines 2. Fast Track to Fortune by Nathan West , which is 1 hour read that i would start with as it helped me understand what I want to work on and guided me towards 3.The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel, as I noticed some problems with my money management. Read more, and you will know more; that's a real advantage over others.
After buying and reading useless Grant Cardone books and similar things , I just did not want to invest the time to go through more bs literature. Thank you for distinguishing the substantial ones for us
Your video was just so well oriented, informative and energetic, that I’ve watched the whole video.. And let me tell you this: Years from now, when I become successful due to the influence of most these books here, before the authors, you’d have my gratitude for finding me this gem video.. You may have changed at least one life today, so.. Please keep up the great work, sir!
Haven’t read any of these ones but the book that got me on self improvement was can’t hurt me, I highly recommend it, especially if you’re in high school and have a book report, it’s easy to do a report on and has a lot of good stuff to learn
Thanks for this video Anthony! Since a week i have finished 3 books about viewing money in a total different way, compared to how the school system has taught me. In just a week time i now have a clear view on my income, expenses and i even have a plan on saving money each month and eventually planning on putting that money to work for me. I think i will use your list as a personal guidance to finally start working on my future!
I have been looking for such instructions, i was doing things the way i planned, and i had few information but now i can see clearly what to do. Thanks a lot sir🙏. God bless you

@@AnthonyVicino Anthony, you're truly remarkable. In a future video, perhaps you could explore the significant mindset obstacles hindering wealth accumulation. Napoleon Hill mentioned guilt as one of these blocks. Personally, I envisioned immense wealth but found myself grappling with feelings of shame and guilt. In response, I first affirmed that I deserved this wealth, then that I was worthy of it. However, these affirmations didn't entirely dispel my guilt until I declared that I am entitled to this abundance. I found this realization interesting; I think that the word "entitled" is more potent in its ability to obliterate guilt. It seemed to shift my perspective and eliminate my feelings of guilt. 🚀 And it made me ponder if there are other mental barriers I might be unaware of. Your videos are incredibly empowering, particularly to me, and I'm sincerely grateful for the positive impact they've had. Thank you for your valuable content. Much respect and blessings to you. 🙏
I listened to Dr Attia on Tim Ferris's podcast, I've never had such a massive perspective change about health before. What a genius! Would like to read his book soon
I found Mindset quite a hard read. You learn early on what growth mindset is, and then it's in some ways just 300 pages of driving that idea home... I didn't make it all that far to be honest, but it's juice was in many ways summarised completely by your summary. Grit was another hard one. David C Baker passed on a great tip for reading powerful books. Read the Introduction up to chapter one, then read the conclusion or last chapter. 9/10 you'll get everything from the book in just that simple method. Then afterwards, you're free to read the book in it's entirety. If you like what you've just read from it, then you read the whole thing and get to enjoy the whole thing and make more mental connections.
Here's another way to think about it. The main importance of the books is to internalise the lessons, for them to actually make a difference in our lives. It may vary from person to person, but I think a 300 page book where the majority of time is spent driving the point home will be enough time spent to get it into your head. The more it gets into your head, the more your thoughts change. Which means the more your feelings change. Which mean the more your actions change. Idk, just my 2 cents.
Hey man, I'm 18 and a month and I half ago I decided that university is not something I wanna do in live , so i started with copywriting and this gotta be it man , I am not giving up , now I really want to learn about the taxes, so the book you recommend seems interesting. The thing is that I live in Belgium(Europe), so my question is that I know the tax rate is not the same here as it is in the usa but is the general knowledge and working also different? I don't want to read a book when the taxes are done completely different here yk
That's a great question. Taxes are highly location specific, so unless you're in the USA, that book probably won't be very helpful for your situation. I'd ask around and see if there are any good ooks specific to your market. Sorry!
I’m from the Netherlands and have an interest in finance. I watch a lot of American content on it and read books from American authors. The tax law is completely different though, not relevant. I personally wouldn’t even read a belgian book on tax law, as you wouldn’t benefit from a book on Dutch tax law. Maybe you can find a belgian equivalent?
Nice, thanks Anthony. I'm only just starting my deep dive into self made entrepreneurship (from literally nothing, business or financial-wise) and would love to add a couple of resources to your list! Myron Golden on youtube is literally changing my life right now and the book 10X is easier than 2X-pure alchemical gold.
This is my bible. ❤. I learn history, politics, psychology, and how powerful men think every time I listen it. Richard Poe’s reading of this book is everything, don’t read it or listen to any other narration of it.
Money cannot buy happiness; it can only amplify it. A truly successful life means thriving in all aspects, such as finances, health, and relationships. Consider this: having a lot of money can lead to boredom and stress if you're constantly hustling just to accumulate more. Financial freedom is vital, but it’s only one part of true success. Remember, it’s not just about cultivating the right mindset; it’s also about nurturing your heart set. Wherever you find yourself right now, and regardless of your perspective, know that I honor, acknowledge, and bless you for being exactly where you are. Thank you.☺️☝️💙
LOVE LOVE The Four Agreement book - so basic and elementary - applying these agreements would bring our world so much closer together. I know what a difference it's made in my life.
i havent read any books but im pretty sure what i want from my life, i just dont know which direction to make first step is everyone strugling thee same?
I read think and grow rich also the science of getting rich. I enjoyed them. I’ve learned that wealth is pretty easy to have , the problem people have is they know what they need to do but still don’t do nothing about it. So procrastination is the real problem in getting rich. Find out out what is it that your good at, then turn it into a service. The more the value of the service the better the wealth.
I'll read all of them next year. Currently, I'm reading Lean startup, zero to one, rich dad poor dad,why we want you to be rich by Robert kiyoski and Donald trump. I read books about self improvement and human behavior like I just finished 48 laws of power by Robert Greene and think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill etc this year now I'm moving towards money secrets.
I am glad I found this channel and this video in Particular. It has become the basis for my curriculum of improving my life, especially my finances. I don't know I will ever be a millionaire, but I would be happy with just a significant improvement.
@@AnthonyVicinoI have finished "Psychology of Money" and "12 Rules for Life" and I am 3/4 done with Seneca's "Letters From A Stoic " and have just started "I Will Make You Rich". Great reading choices ! I like The Four Agreements as well....the one that spoke to me was "Don't take things personally." Now, I don't care what people think anymore, this was a problem for me in my younger days, where appearance was my insecurity.
Yeah , mindset is important to get something going. Nice tutorial. Update: By the way , the Letter from a stoic , -Lucius Seneca , bought the book and im reading it. Its very informative, good book to read .

Invest excess of money into something you are comfortable with. For me, it was the stock market, for you could be real estate. 4. Understand the difference between investing and speculation. 5.

Keep up the great work man
Glad you finally got to the video and found it helpful

Probably the best book recommendations video in terms of structure and quality of book props to the creator 🎉
Thank you!
@@AnthonyVicinoCould you please suggest more books on money?
I think in 2024, the Psychology of Money has officially replaced Rich Dad Poor Dad as the Foundational Book for personal finance
Thank god, too.
I liked rich dad, poor dad. I’ll have to check psychology of money.
No rich dad poor dad is better
Stop saying nonsense
Love the reframing. Words matter tremendously.
Hey, I'm going to trust you and read all of this books this year, I hope I'll be a better person than last year by completely reading this. Thank you for the recommendations.
Go get it! Hope they bring you value!

Difficulty is relative.
Riding a bicycle is actually incredibly difficult in concept.

I kind of talk about How to Read Better in the beginning section of this video:

You are so welcome!
Don't know about that second book, but the first and third are great.
After buying and reading useless Grant Cardone books and similar things , I just did not want to invest the time to go through more bs literature. Thank you for distinguishing the substantial ones for us
You'll find these books way more helpful than Grant's.
You don't even need money for reading all that you want. You just need a library card, and all the knowledge will be available for FREE.

Thanks again for sharing your recommendations, and I'm looking forward to delving into these books. 📚
Wonderful! I apprecaite it, Matthew!

Highly recommend that book. It will literally transform (and lengthen) your life.
That's a totally fair point about Mindset and Grit. Both probably didn't warrant a full book given how they unpacked the concept.
Impeccable video. Do make more videos like this.
Will do!
But rich dad poor dad did help me

I just love Rich Dad Poor Dad. It did help me about finance.
That's great!
Read Bhagavad Gita for all the knowledge on How to live this Human Life❤
Hey man, I'm 18 and a month and I half ago I decided that university is not something I wanna do in live , so i started with copywriting and this gotta be it man , I am not giving up , now I really want to learn about the taxes, so the book you recommend seems interesting.
Sorry!
Psyched for you to learn copywriting, though!
@@AnthonyVicino thanks for the answer!

Thank you.☺️☝️💙
Was “Playing to Win” anywhere on your initial list? I found this book to be a game changer for my approach to business.
I remember reading that a number of years ago and enjoying it, but it wasn't personally transformative for me.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience💛 and please make more videos on book!
Will do!
LOVE LOVE The Four Agreement book - so basic and elementary - applying these agreements would bring our world so much closer together. I know what a difference it's made in my life.
So good! I agree.
i havent read any books but im pretty sure what i want from my life, i just dont know which direction to make first step is everyone strugling thee same?
I read think and grow rich also the science of getting rich. I enjoyed them. I’ve learned that wealth is pretty easy to have , the problem people have is they know what they need to do but still don’t do nothing about it. So procrastination is the real problem in getting rich. Find out out what is it that your good at, then turn it into a service. The more the value of the service the better the wealth.
Great book
Wow thank you sm Anthony! I’m a beginner and I’m so thankful you broke it down easily for me ❤️
