Oh I'm surely going to share this. I speak both English and Spanish, Spanish being my first language, and I haven't seen a case of blatant plagiarism as stupid and careless as this one. He basically stole the video, word by word, frame by frame. It's disgusting really, and he couldn't be even more obvious if he tried. He has even more subscribers now than he did when Enigma uploaded this vid. Not sure if he has a strike or has taken down the vids. What's funny is TH-cam now has an option to let you change audio. So if you see an Anime clip dubbed, but you prefer the original sub, if they have the option there you can change the audio to Japanese in the settings. I noticed this when looking at clips of Way of the Househusband Netflix uploaded So theoretically, you could just take his videos back, and submit them as official Spanish translations for your work
Happens all the time unfortunately. I remember seeing Mr Beast talk about it, and it being part of the motivation for them to create all the different channels they have dubbing their own videos officially. But that's not feasible for most channels, and it sucks that it's just kinda accepted as being part of life on the platform.
There are also a couple of channels from Moldova that steal content from bigger channels (mostly random top 10 type of videos) and translate them into Romanian. There has been this weird case once where one guy literally stole a Russian gamer’s entire video and just pretended to play the game himself, with the exact same commentary and the exact same jokes, only in Romanian. When someone points this out, they defend themselves by saying “well, there are some Romanian kids who don’t know English all that well and I’m just helping them out”. Pure BS. It’s a large scale problem all over YT and unfortunately you kinda need to solve it on your own.
This is hardly the first time I've seen this happen, sadly, and TH-cam seems completely unwilling to do much about it. This platform is so infuriating, so often. Hope you get this resolved. Much love!

Yeah, I'm no stranger to people stealing content. When I used to do TCG content on my World Championship Dueling Channel that I had to take down, I noticed a lot of my content being copied over on another more popular channel, whom I soon noticed also copied other trading card game content Creators as well, and not long ago, even boasted that they got content ideas from other creators. No one else seemed to notice.
Sadly this happen a lot in hispanic community (LATAM more especificaly), it's a real shame since a lot of big and small channels got content ripped so often, only showing how mediocre we can be as content consumers and the lame creatoors we have. This practice is so low , sometimes there are evident mistranslations, words and expretions that doesn't work the same in spanish, and as your case it's even worse when you edit or create a video with effects and thoughts you spend time making, and someone just download it, makes some small changes and now have their name on it, thinking they have made a great work. More cases like this must be brought to light, for people in LATAM being capable to comunicate in english is an employment advantage, but we live in places that can truly be miserable, we tend to be selfish or closeminded, that's why i imagined this person didn't even ask for permission to use your content or quote your video. more spanish speaking creators must have the develop their criteria to even ask to make translations of english speaking creators, there is a even bigger opportunity in it, because you are expanding your horizons, your presence, to be part of new communities, personal grow that it's gotten skip just for not having the will to create.

This is such a big problem with Spanish TH-cam. I know people who have had their content stolen and dubbed against their consent. I have seen it multiple times and sometimes these Spanish channels can have over 100k views and all they do is steal from multiple English speaking channels. It is heart breaking knowing that there are people who are stealing content which as a youtuber I know takes a long time. For me, it can take weeks/days of research, days of writing and drafting my scripts, days of editing and finding clips and then editing it and putting it together. And hours of voice recording and cutting the voice up. So to think that a person that knows two languages could come along, see my video and steal it, spend minutes just slightly touching it up, and then take about 2 hours to record their dub of my script is heart-breaking and very annoying especially because it comes under transformative use and is protected by fair use which we need to protect us from big companies. I hope you make people aware! Respect to you.

thank you brother, this youtuber stole many of my videos, I'm from Brazil and he mostly stole old videos that I had to delete because I suffered from strikes, I spoke to him at the time I noticed that he copies my videos and he stopped doing that, that's why I didn't make a video about it, I didn't know he stole from youtubers from other countries, they have a video called "Bizarre Theories of Yu-gi-oh!" that he copied even my thumb and my way of talking, the most I did about it was to make a hint in a video that I talk about Dimitri the Copycat Duelist, thank you very much for exposing this situation

This kind of thing unfortunately happens quite often with Latinamerican people and isn't reserved to yugioh, I know firsthand because I'm from Latinamerica and I have know people like this that have the mindset of "I'll do whatever it takes to make money I don't care about anything as long as it brings me money", in their heads they probably think "It doesnt matter since I'll just translate the video to spanish its gonna be a completely new audience so who cares", they really are like the common muggers we see everyday on Latinamerica, they just take and don't care because at the end of the day who is gonna stop them?
They think because they're on a different language and redirected to an entirely different region, people won't notice the blatant plagiarism comparing the videos. I speak spanish I watch spanish videos but also I seek English channels about the topics I like to watch more and know I won't find in my language. I also found about this channel and recognized some of his videos elsewhere immediately, this is sadly a very true case of plagiarism.
This kind of content stealing has already happened with a brazilian youtuber who stole scripts of anime content creators from outside our country, but fortunately brazilian fans exposed her. So sad that this kind of stuff still happens. Give credit to whoever deserves, people. Content is not easy to make, so don’t steal what’s not yours

Desde un principio vi cosas como una serie sospechosamente similar a una de duel logs llamada "mecanicas fallidas" (Icluso tratando temas similares), pero nunca pense que de verdad haria esto. Perdio todo mi respeto.
Recientemente subió un vídeo disculpándose, pero siento que su disculpa fué bastante deshonesta, aclarando que se fue por la vía fácil pero también diciendo que los otros creadores a los que se copió no son perfectos y cometen errores.
Lo más triste es que a gran parte de su audiencia parece no importarle en lo más mínimo que robará de forma tan descarada, bajo la excusa de que ellos no ven videos en inglés o de que "la informacion no tiene dueño" (ignorando todo el esfuerzo que pusieron los autores de los videos en la edicion). Not every video has auto-translated subtitles, and even if they did wouldn't manually dubbing them in another language and adding physical subtitles in the video make it TRANSFORMATIVE?? This guy should have his channel deleted, he is stealing videos from you TGS Yugioh Everything, TGS did a Yugi deck video then Gigo Ki did one, TGS then made a Seto Kaiba deck review and guess what so did this fraud, but since TGS hasn't done a Joey deck yet neither has this guy as he is waiting for TGS to upload his Joey video so that he can steal it
One fix for this would be to place a watermark across the video from the top left to the bottom right with your channel name so they can't simply steal the visuals and zoom in. I'd do that for upcoming uploads if people bother stealing my content

@@BullyWiiPlaza the copyright infringement could work. TH-cam uses a mixture of frame and audio tracking to spot similar content across the platform so it might flag it as stolen or plagiarized content
This is extremely common on TH-cam as far as I'm concerned. My country is Bulgaria(Europe) and here many people do this kind of stuff. Not for the Yugioh theme, but others like Top 10, or those slef-improvement videos. There was a scandal for one guy stealing from indian youtubers some videos and just translating the video much like your case. In my experience I don't even see this as a thing anymore. Mainly because your audiences are different.

I wonder if this is a trend in other languages beyond Spanish? Spacehamster had a similar issue a few years back and it seems like many TH-camrs have their videos stolen by Spanish speaking TH-camrs. So now I am wondering if this is present in other languages? Equally, why is such a common problem with Spanish speaking TH-camrs? I am only guessing it’s because they kind of feel safe. If the person they are stealing from doesn’t speak Spanish and isn’t frequently visiting Spanish channels, they are unlikely to find out that their content is being stolen.
I watched the whole video and it's the same, unfortunately, this happens a lot in spanish youtube with creators such as Nexpo and Darryl Talks games, although they haven't exposed it as you did
If only there was a way for people to signal that a video is bad content, like i dunno, maybe a visible dislike counter. (Comments are deletable by creators, dislikes arent). Also it seems they made an apology video coming clean, and they seem to have erased/privated some of the plagiarized videos
I would pretend to be surprised, but frankly I'm not; there are large communities of non-English fans across the world who want to enjoy the same content, but rather than actually ask if they can do a translated version of someone's video, or at the very least provide accurate Closed Captions translations for the video, they'll just take the content and entirely redub and edit the content so as to make it look like it's their own work - the icing on the cake being that these content thieves will sometimes have more subscribers than the original creator of those videos they've stolen. Not that I don't sympathise though, it's ridiculous that people can still be so intellectually lazy in this day and age (or at least have some manners and respect) as to steal someone else's videos and reupload them with a few minor changes, like nobody would notice - hopefully you have eyes on this person for future violations, and you can report anymore of these cases.
I'm a little disappointed this didn't turn out to be a head-cannon theory about Seto Kaiba being a secret fraud in the show or in one of the movies

So to think that a person that knows two languages could come along, see my video and steal it, spend minutes just slightly touching it up, and then take about 2 hours to record their dub of my script is heart-breaking and very annoying especially because it comes under transformative use and is protected by fair use which we need to protect us from big companies. Oh, man, I remember seeing a spanish creator take a Duel Links deck from DLKoG and it was quite weird. I figured they don't get discovered much thanks to people not getting content for languages they don't speak.

thank you brother, this youtuber stole many of my videos, I'm from Brazil and he mostly stole old videos that I had to delete because I suffered from strikes, I spoke to him at the time I noticed that he copies my videos and he stopped doing that, that's why I didn't make a video about it, I didn't know he stole from youtubers from other countries, they have a video called "Bizarre Theories of Yu-gi-oh!" that he copied even my thumb and my way of talking, the most I did about it was to make a hint in a video that I talk about Dimitri the Copycat Duelist, thank you very much for exposing this situation
That happened to two other youtubers I've watched. I think it happened to someone in the gaming community that was part of NormalBoots too.
I have noticed that this individual has removed said videos from their channel and because of when you released this video, I am curious if this dispute has been settled or if this individual is still employing the same copycat tactics with other small channels?

This is super common in Spanish and Brazillian YT. Sometimes ripping vids. Sometimes just the script that they read into a camera with minimal edits

People do this kind of stuff and TH-cam does absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, if you use a 1 - second snippet of a song in your video, you get a copyright strike.

This kind of thing unfortunately happens quite often with Latinamerican people and isn't reserved to yugioh, I know firsthand because I'm from Latinamerica and I have know people like this that have the mindset of "I'll do whatever it takes to make money I don't care about anything as long as it brings me money", in their heads they probably think "It doesnt matter since I'll just translate the video to spanish its gonna be a completely new audience so who cares", they really are like the common muggers we see everyday on Latinamerica, they just take and don't care because at the end of the day who is gonna stop them?
This is just in all non english countries even in the middle east. People will even just straight up interpret the info wrong and post it

I speak spanish I watch spanish videos but also I seek English channels about the topics I like to watch more and know I won't find in my language. I also found about this channel and recognized some of his videos elsewhere immediately, this is sadly a very true case of plagiarism.

This kind of content stealing has already happened with a brazilian youtuber who stole scripts of anime content creators from outside our country, but fortunately brazilian fans exposed her. So sad that this kind of stuff still happens. Give credit to whoever deserves, people. Content is not easy to make, so don’t steal what’s not yours

Desde un principio vi cosas como una serie sospechosamente similar a una de duel logs llamada "mecanicas fallidas" (Icluso tratando temas similares), pero nunca pense que de verdad haria esto. Perdio todo mi respeto.
Recientemente subió un vídeo disculpándose, pero siento que su disculpa fué bastante deshonesta, aclarando que se fue por la vía fácil pero también diciendo que los otros creadores a los que se copió no son perfectos y cometen errores.

Por lo que si en algún momento vuelve a hacerlo seguro lo volverían a perdonar como si nada

Not every video has auto-translated subtitles, and even if they did wouldn't manually dubbing them in another language and adding physical subtitles in the video make it TRANSFORMATIVE?? Genuinely asking btw, if anyone can explain...cause from a "legal" standpoint, it seems like he's done nothing wrong.

This guy should have his channel deleted, he is stealing videos from you TGS Yugioh Everything, TGS did a Yugi deck video then Gigo Ki did one, TGS then made a Seto Kaiba deck review and guess what so did this fraud, but since TGS hasn't done a Joey deck yet neither has this guy as he is waiting for TGS to upload his Joey video so that he can steal it
One fix for this would be to place a watermark across the video from the top left to the bottom right with your channel name so they can't simply steal the visuals and zoom in. I'd do that for upcoming uploads if people bother stealing my content

@@BullyWiiPlaza the copyright infringement could work. TH-cam uses a mixture of frame and audio tracking to spot similar content across the platform so it might flag it as stolen or plagiarized content

This is extremely common on TH-cam as far as I'm concerned. My country is Bulgaria(Europe) and here many people do this kind of stuff. Not for the Yugioh theme, but others like Top 10, or those slef-improvement videos. There was a scandal for one guy stealing from indian youtubers some videos and just translating the video much like your case. In my experience I don't even see this as a thing anymore. Mainly because your audiences are different.

I recently subscribed to him because I liked "his videos", im really sad to see another youtuber just steal all the work it takes to make a video, have images reletaed to the topic and make it coherent and entertaining. I remember telling to myself "cool he puts the cards on spanish on the video" but only happens on the thumbnail because it is the only thing he changes.
I wonder if this is a trend in other languages beyond Spanish? Spacehamster had a similar issue a few years back and it seems like many TH-camrs have their videos stolen by Spanish speaking TH-camrs. So now I am wondering if this is present in other languages? Equally, why is such a common problem with Spanish speaking TH-camrs? I am only guessing it’s because they kind of feel safe. If the person they are stealing from doesn’t speak Spanish and isn’t frequently visiting Spanish channels, they are unlikely to find out that their content is being stolen.

I would pretend to be surprised, but frankly I'm not; there are large communities of non-English fans across the world who want to enjoy the same content, but rather than actually ask if they can do a translated version of someone's video, or at the very least provide accurate Closed Captions translations for the video, they'll just take the content and entirely redub and edit the content so as to make it look like it's their own work - the icing on the cake being that these content thieves will sometimes have more subscribers than the original creator of those videos they've stolen.
Not that I don't sympathise though, it's ridiculous that people can still be so intellectually lazy in this day and age (or at least have some manners and respect) as to steal someone else's videos and reupload them with a few minor changes, like nobody would notice - hopefully you have eyes on this person for future violations, and you can report anymore of these cases.
