Thank you for your genuinely engaging and original work.
Unfortunately, by the simple act of translating it into another language, he's doing something transformative to the original video, which makes it fair use. And now that he seems to be moving around the sections of the videos compared to their originals, that's even more transformative. The only thing you could probably call him out for is completely recycling the original person's footage, but even then, by moving around the sections, the footage is no longer identical. Thus, transformative, and thus free use.

It’s kinda funny that just an hour ago I saw one of his videos that appeared on my recommended (the strongest monsters from structure decks one) And one hour later I see this video being upload lmao, thanks TH-cam
The worst part about this is that because of the language barrier, most people aren’t really going to notice because they’re not in the dual language sphere of TH-cam.
Nothing wrong with translating other’s videos for their countries. So long as you get permission from the original creators and credit them for their work. This guy did not.
File copyright takedown requests for your stuff. Contact all of the effected creators and tell them to do the same. This is EXACTLY what the system is meant for.
Since you mentioned Yugioh Everything who next to you is one of my favourite Yugitubers, have you considered doing something with him as you both are some of the only big online fans that discuss the anime in great detail? For example, you have your ‘was (a) about to beat (b)’ series and Dylan has his ‘What made a duel special’ and anime moment ranking vids. A crossover between you two would be really awesome especially if it’s a talk on the anime.
Nah we don’t care that people are enjoying the video being made, just that the video they’re watching is essentially stolen, there’s nothing the viewer can do about that, especially if they’re unaware of it in the first place. We know it’s the creator doing this and not the community itself, otherwise it would be happening much much MUCH more often, Don’t fret such much about being cornered into a crowd, just stay away from that crowd when you know they’re up to no good.
3:56 WHY!?. Sure you can keep writing scripts you don't really need a script writer but at least hire an editor it would make things so much easier for you plus it would help with consistency
i remember this guy i remember him stealing stuff from megacapital g back in the day as well just realized you brought it up in the video as i typed this out before watching the video
And I thought Bandit Keith’s underhanded schemes were low. But stealing other content creators’ content is just absolutely rotten. Gigo ky should be banned for this kind of behavior. 😡
It's like when CZsWorld, a popular horror movie TH-camr, had one of his videos stolen by Screen Rant a number of years ago: Screen Rant has since deleted their video.
That is just terrible. If the guy had a brain he could've just reached out to all the content creators personally to ask them if he could translate the videos to spanish for those who want it.
The sad part about this kind of stuff is that i feel there's no legit need to do this. He could just treat the video like it was a dub of the videos he takes, credit the source and it would actually be A GOOD CONCEPT. Language barriers are sometimes the only thing that separates a creator from potential audiences and as such, communities get a little more limiting. If he just had that bare minimum amount of respect to credit the source and pass it as a translation, even if lazy, would be much more positive since it's a legit scenario of transforming content.
It's pretty common that spanish speaking youtubers steals english content, It's sad to say but Im very aware of that in many communities. I am from South America and I know there are a lot like this guy. btw Im pretty sure the guy is not from Spain at all, he's from south america.
Hi there. Spanish speaking viewer here. I actually have seen his videos, but mainly the Duel Terminal one as he was the only one I found that did a complete timeline of the lore. And I can say that I don't see their videos because I just feel like their videos are very low quality so, I didn't knew about of his stealing of content. I will spread the word on the Spanish speaking community.
As someone who is creating his own comic series, I can 100% agree! Putting your heart and soul into a work, only for some douchebag to steal it! That's like killing them!
Plus it takes views away from the original creator. All this person had to do was ask if he could translate the videos into Spanish and I'm sure they'd get permission. They didn't even bother with any of that
Oh snap! That's rough to have that happen to you. I genuinely hope that things get better around YT and the content stealing stops for everyone who's had content stolen. But MY GOSH man, you work way too hard all by yourself. Hopefully you give yourself some time to have a break every now and again. And if you ever want any help with any of your work load, I'm sure there are several people out there who would be incredibly honored and super enthusiastic to work with you with how awesome and chill you are and with how great your content is. You know now that i think about it, wouldn't Little Kuriboh fall into this category since he's using YGO footage for his abridged series? Not saying he's a bad guy, but his youtube videos have been taken down for copyright infringement!
@@tarikkash4282 No, Yugioh the Abridged Series would fall into parody normally and would be fine but because Yu-Gi-Oh is a Japanese product TH-cam has to go by Japanese copyright law and that's why it keeps getting taken down same with Dragon Ball Z Abridged, That is always copyrighted by Toei
The funny thing is He is kinda one step from not being accused of anything By just admiting he does translations and linking the videos he translated in the desc He wouldn't even have to reedit anything It's pretty much a normal practice For a example some popular movie reviewers like the nostalgia critic get translated to other languages by youtubers from other countries And everyone is ok with that
Jeez. This could have been avoided if that guy just asked permission, gave the original people credit, and marketed his videos as Spanish translations.
If i had a nickel for every creator that uploaded a video of someone stealing their content in a foreign language this week. I would have 2 nickels wich it isn't a lot but weird it happened twice
As a mexican sub (spanish in a way), I feel that re-uploading videos just in another language is awful, the only exception is if the channel Is from the same youtuber and they give the go, some channels are similar, because they talk about the same topic, but that doesnt mean you can give It your own twist. One example is Kuriboh no Sensei who talks which cards you could create to make an archetype better, AND like him there are many more. My best wishes to TGS and keep up the good work, always looking for new videos, you always make try new archetypes AND happy holidays to everyone else.
Ugh, this is disgusting. It really stinks to see creators like yourself who spend so many days on a video have it ripped. I have seen this happening to other creators outside of the Yugioh space as well!
As an incredibly small youtuber, I find this despicable. I thought people doing lazy "reaction" videos is bad. This dude is DELIBERATELY plagiarizing and stealing from people. Bro needs to be punished.
Bro, that feeling is straight up a combination of Rage and dumbfounded-ness. I've had 1 video of mine stolen, they didn't even try to make it different. It's just crazy! Edit: He has more Subs than i do too... make it make sense! Also, if i ever want to piggyback off another creator's video, I've always asked for permission 1st, abd if they say yes, i give them a shout out in said video. Just common courtesy!
Another shout out to react content "creators" who don't even ask permission to use the videos and barely provide any actual useful insight of their own or they don't make a fun little bingo card out of it
At least we know why Duel Analysis videos took time despite many fan requests (including mine). It really takes time and effort. Thanks, Sam for pointing this out.

I really hate when spanish speakers/creators do this kind of stuff, with the "excuse" of "... making the content accesible for non english speakers" F that, make you own content, create your own ideas and for the love of god atleast use different words, so much disrespect for the comunity of the creator you are stealing, and of course the creator him/her self ... thanks for call him out my man.
Surprisingly, back in the day I did notice some people actually copying my videos as well. But it was exact... and I ended up just reporting the video under the radar and got it taken down. Since then I don't think it has happened to me anymore. Or if it does, I cheekily comment on it that I'm flattered he took my video because it isn't really worth my time anymore. Some people just don't get it. :)
We made plagiarism and uncreativity a norm. Tiktok, copying videos and people playing videos and just react or have them in a small box. It's all plagiarism. Desensitizing it.

a good part of the spanish speaking comunity doesnt speak english, so is content that is not as common unless coming from specific channels. i understand why they do it, but why steal and not do your own video inspired by it, giving credit?
I recently seen a creator who did this type of video. But it wasn't about Yu-Gi-Oh but about speed runs. The only difference is the one who is stealing the content have not apologized. And the same thing translated to a different language. Have not credited the main creator. Copy paste translate type of vid.
Translations of videos into languages from areas where a lot of people don't speak English is quite common. It's quite literally the reason why a lot of new people get to enjoy content which they otherwise would never be able to experience. A lot of people from many countries couldn't care less about things which aren't in their language and they're fully correct in that belief.
Channels like this obviously wouldn't hurt big channels like yours [TGS ANIME], it hurts smaller channels way more. Having to work on a video for weeks or months just to get it copied would fucking suck and I would be so mad. Especially if it was lazily copied. Where small channels would love the attention given to them as its so hard to get out of the 1-10k sub count area.

wait this is still happening? some anime youtubers had a problem with a spanish channel aswell earlier this year. it happened to NChammer 23 and dygo knight.
If someone stole from BOTH NChammer and dygo at the same time it'd be crazy, dudes have completely different opinions on stuff
@@CharoGaming well nick did a video addressing this, and it was also a spanish channel

The irony that looking up "gigo ky plagio" has a top result short of him calling out Konami plagiarizing card -text- art.
And you can bet that said video was also stolen as well.
Sweet irony
@@toumabyakuya it definitely looked familiar. -I think maybe Team APS did a video on it?- I'd seen it in a TheDuelLogs short. GoldenNovaYugioh also did a full video on it.
As a Spanish speaker this is almost secondhand embarrassment that someone does something like this. I have seen examples in the past where the main youtuber offer to make a second channel for Spanish audience, basically offering a job for someone that speaks Spanish. I have even seen cases where the channel does a Spanish version of an abridged series, but always leaves the original author info, channel, etc in the description. But in this case yeah, he didn’t do either, so plain stealing content. No mercy for people like this.
4:16 I can safely say your videos are high quality🔥
why dont you guys band up and give him a copyright strike, so he is forced to delete his channel

It just seems to be the business model now, at least on Tiktok/Reels, except they just record a video of themselves half-assedly lip-syncing to the routines and monologues of people twice their age who actually have something to contribute to the world. Thank you for your genuinely engaging and original work.
That’s so shitty!! He should be sued!!
@@WhiteRaven696So he’s just playing around the rules? So best we can do is just not watch him and instead watch the actual videos instead?

@@WhiteRaven696 you’re absolutely right. When I initially made that comment, it was in the early portion of the video. And as it went on, I had those thoughts. Even so, he’s a piece of shit for doing it.
Omg I had no idea :( now I feel bad that I’ve watched some of his videos. TGS is actually the first English-speaking channel I started to watch for for yu-gi-oh! content so I could never imagine. I’m sorry this happened to you :(
If you like what TGS does then I'd recommend another channel called TheDuelLogs. He has fantastic videos where he does top 10 lists on cards. He even has a video that goes over a ton of card lore where a bunch of cards tell a story. Like there's one that's about Buster Blader and a dragon he meets that's really cool to listen to. Had no idea cards told stories like that before watching his stuff
I just discovered Enigma like two days ago, and I've loved you and Yugioh Everything for years now. Shame on this guy.
Literally a Yugioh version of Calon Sarjana
Speaking of Yugioh everything, he actually met the creator!
So he’s a Spanish Yu-Gi-Oh version of Calon Sarjana? Got it. Thanks for the goated vid lol.
You content is the best. It sucks seeing someone steal or profit from literally your hard work but try not to let it get you down. Your are a wonderful unbound content creator!
I'd be suing him for plagiarism
TGS Anime, I love your videos. I would watch your archetype videos during my workouts to learn more about different archetypes as well as hear your thoughts on said archetypes. I hope to see more of your archetype videos in the coming years. Keep up the awesome content work! 😃
Genuinely impressed with how uncreative this guy is. Does he just watch other yu gi oh youtubers and regurgitate the content? Must be boring as all hell for a job.
Shoutout to your care to smaller content creators. Much respect to that
As a few users have said before, it's sad to hear about this when Karl Jobst uploaded a video about a russian dude doing the same with his videogame speedrunnin content a few days ago.
Oh i really watch a lot of his videos cuz im an hispanic consumer, and thank god that you for bringing this case onto light, in this part of the community there are a lot of cases like this
I'm fairly new to your channel, but I love your content. You're creative and precise and you give your information with confidence, and you're not afraid to say "I don't know". I hate that there are people who steal others content.
Yall should go ham on him like Kaiba did on Zigfried 😂
stealing other people's content is the worst! save them in a playlist so your followers can enjoy that content as well!
But how is he supposed to get that sweet sweet monetization money? You're being, like, super selfish and stuff.
Honestly I personally think Gigo ky should actually be punished for stealing the content of others
The sad part is that there's SOOOO much content in yugioh that they don't even have to steal content from other people to have stuff to talk about. This is just pure laziness and youtube lets people get away with it
It’s kinda funny that just an hour ago I saw one of his videos that appeared on my recommended (the strongest monsters from structure decks one)
And one hour later I see this video being upload lmao, thanks TH-cam
The worst part about this is that because of the language barrier, most people aren’t really going to notice because they’re not in the dual language sphere of TH-cam.

As a spanish speaker myself, I'm genuinely upset this guy does this as it hampers the hispanic Yugitube community.
I would love if he stops for good
Nah we don’t care that people are enjoying the video being made, just that the video they’re watching is essentially stolen, there’s nothing the viewer can do about that, especially if they’re unaware of it in the first place. We know it’s the creator doing this and not the community itself, otherwise it would be happening much much MUCH more often, Don’t fret such much about being cornered into a crowd, just stay away from that crowd when you know they’re up to no good.
Looks like the dude that steals the Naruto ones too, dude probably just has an anime empire
3:56 WHY!?. Sure you can keep writing scripts you don't really need a script writer but at least hire an editor it would make things so much easier for you plus it would help with consistency
i remember this guy i remember him stealing stuff from megacapital g back in the day as well
just realized you brought it up in the video as i typed this out before watching the video
And I thought Bandit Keith’s underhanded schemes were low. But stealing other content creators’ content is just absolutely rotten. Gigo ky should be banned for this kind of behavior. 😡
It amazes me how human beings function!
Damn man. This sucks, thanks for making this video.
Btw, your content is high quality!!!!
Challenge him to a shadow game and send him to meet the Gods
It's like when CZsWorld, a popular horror movie TH-camr, had one of his videos stolen by Screen Rant a number of years ago: Screen Rant has since deleted their video.
That is just terrible. If the guy had a brain he could've just reached out to all the content creators personally to ask them if he could translate the videos to spanish for those who want it.
It’s scary to see it that way because some of the creators won’t bother to look at said messages, and some people take silence as consent.
This guy fucked up. As yugioh players, we might not read our cards, but we do NOT tolerate thieves.
Time for a shadow duel
Whenever I'm watching a creator showcase a duel, I look to see what their gamer tag is. If it's not close to their channel name, then I'll unsubscribe
Best irony would be for him to steal this video idea and then turn around and spin it how everyone is stealing from him
Stealing other people hard work is just low and disgusting. 🤮🤮🤮
I know I'd love to get my hands on a scriptwriting position for you. That would be too cool if it would ever be possible.
Please stay awesome, and I hope you're taking care of yourself whenever you can. You work too hard, man.
Any chance this dude could be reported to TH-cam?

I guess maybe copyright strike it? Because it really is stolen content
I just did my part and reported him, no one should be getting away with that. What a talentless bozo.
He has the opportunity to do the funniest thing right now lol
You know now that i think about it, wouldn't Little Kuriboh fall into this category since he's using YGO footage for his abridged series?
Not saying he's a bad guy, but his youtube videos have been taken down for copyright infringement!
@@tarikkash4282 No, Yugioh the Abridged Series would fall into parody normally and would be fine but because Yu-Gi-Oh is a Japanese product TH-cam has to go by Japanese copyright law and that's why it keeps getting taken down same with Dragon Ball Z Abridged, That is always copyrighted by Toei
The funny thing is
He is kinda one step from not being accused of anything
By just admiting he does translations and linking the videos he translated in the desc
He wouldn't even have to reedit anything
It's pretty much a normal practice
For a example some popular movie reviewers like the nostalgia critic get translated to other languages by youtubers from other countries
And everyone is ok with that

Jeez. This could have been avoided if that guy just asked permission, gave the original people credit, and marketed his videos as Spanish translations.
If i had a nickel for every creator that uploaded a video of someone stealing their content in a foreign language this week.
I would have 2 nickels wich it isn't a lot but weird it happened twice
oh my gosh
The first thing I thought was "here we go again". The exact same thing happened in a different media I'm a fan of, I think it was One Piece
What a coward. Stealing videos because he probably can’t make his own videos.
Another shout out to react content "creators" who don't even ask permission to use the videos and barely provide any actual useful insight of their own or they don't make a fun little bingo card out of it
The exact same issue happened to NCHammer23 about years ago. It's super frustrating and I wish there was a way to address the problem
At least we know why Duel Analysis videos took time despite many fan requests (including mine). It really takes time and effort. Thanks, Sam for pointing this out.
I really hate when spanish speakers/creators do this kind of stuff, with the "excuse" of
"... making the content accesible for non english speakers" F that, make you own content, create your own ideas and for the love of god atleast use different words, so much disrespect for the comunity of the creator you are stealing, and of course the creator him/her self ... thanks for call him out my man.

What is it with Spanish creators stealing Videos, the only other language I have heard Videos being stolen is Russian but even that much less
As a spanish speaker, it's a pretty big audience (mostly due to latam), and not all spanish speakers speak english (and vice versa)
a good part of the spanish speaking comunity doesnt speak english, so is content that is not as common unless coming from specific channels. i understand why they do it, but why steal and not do your own video inspired by it, giving credit?
Karl Jobst just released a video of the same problem happening in the speedrunning community.
I had a Spanish TH-camr steal a fanfic of mine for their podfic
I recently seen a creator who did this type of video. But it wasn't about Yu-Gi-Oh but about speed runs. The only difference is the one who is stealing the content have not apologized. And the same thing translated to a different language. Have not credited the main creator. Copy paste translate type of vid.
Translations of videos into languages from areas where a lot of people don't speak English is quite common. It's quite literally the reason why a lot of new people get to enjoy content which they otherwise would never be able to experience. A lot of people from many countries couldn't care less about things which aren't in their language and they're fully correct in that belief.
Call him out brother 😤 stand on Business
Channels like this obviously wouldn't hurt big channels like yours [TGS ANIME], it hurts smaller channels way more. Having to work on a video for weeks or months just to get it copied would fucking suck and I would be so mad. Especially if it was lazily copied. Where small channels would love the attention given to them as its so hard to get out of the 1-10k sub count area.
You don't have an editor!??? Your video is all your singular work?? Damn dude you're amazing!
