    I'm so glad I came across your video. I'm learning to sew at the age of 59. I took a machine mastery class in November, and after watching your video was able to make six scarves in time for Christmas. I found the most difficult part of the process was cutting the fabric but actually making the scarves was easy thanks to your video. Now on to bigger projects!

    Oh it's genius! Have just made three, from long scarves which I had bought and never used because I'm hopeless at tying them. This way you don't have to do anything and they look nice, thanks very much!

    I’m thinking a little further outside the box . . . I recently saw an infinity blanket. I would like to make one for myself.
    I spend much time in hospital with my son and usually prop pillow/blanket/coat on railing so I can sleep. I’m pretty excited to see your instructions. To try it out, after watching this, I bought a cheap blanket and will use quilt batting. The measurements of the infinity blanket on website is 36” x 5.5” x 2”. I’m thinking that means I’ll cut 2 yards long and, maybe 8” or 10” wide? I can’t wait to try it! Then I’ll find a nice soft fabric to make one for another mom.
    I’m so glad I found you. You made me believe I can do this.
    Thank you very much.

    I am a new sewer who previously knitted but sadly cannot do so anymore. I wanted to sew something as gifts for Christmas but was unsure what as I am still slow but these even I can make up in time. Your tutorial is wonderful as always - have watched quite a few, you are one of my favourite teachers. Thank you

    I received an infinity scarf this year for Christmas. It's wonderful! It's 2 yards long, so puffy and long enough to wrap around my neck three times to keep my neck warm.

    A yard and a half is 54 inches. How is that larger than the 60 inch width?

    • @ScrappySusan
      @ScrappySusan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I made one from 60 inch wide material. It is just the right length. Mine was 60" long and 13" wide.

    • @paddyobailey2275
      @paddyobailey2275 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Standard bolt fabric is 44” I can see going with length vs width. But not on 60” wide fabrics. I’m confused

    • @ScrappySusan
      @ScrappySusan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      She is talking about the width of fabric, salvage from salvage. Most fabric is 45 inches wide salvage to salvage. Minky fabric comes 60 inches wide from salvage to salvage.
