Happy Holidays everyone! This scarf is my absolute favorite '$5 cut & sew gift' for anyone, family, friends, co-workers, or it's a perfect 'teacher gift!' Thank you for the tutorial, it went so smoothly. I’m a novice so I went with a pattern that is louder and doesn’t need careful matching; cutting straight on long lines is definitely something I need to work on. I was also a little confused about the part pinning the end and smooshing in the middle to invert it, but as I started pinning, it became more clear how to stuff the middle down and almost inverted itself. Looking forward to trying some more subtle patterns and some with two fabrics for contrast.
Merry Christmas Dawn, I would love a tutorial on a scarf that would include a head covering. I recently saw someone wearing one. It was all one piece. I live in Buffalo NY and often times, weather, it's wind rain or snow, I wish I had something I could slip on and be on my way. One piece. Thanks Jan
A most enjoyable video thanks for the pics have a wonderful Christmas with your family as I'm a day ahead in Australia tomorrow is Christmas eve my it comes around quick stay safe and healthy 🎄💜🎁🎉
This was a great video until about 20:52 when you referred to the "first scarf without the zipper". It seems like I missed something but I've watched it twice and can't figure it out. It also seems like the scarf was turned inside out, which I didn't see shown. I'm really confused!
Thank you for this lovely video. I so enjoyed it! Just wondering how to wear it now. It ended quickly at the end and you didn’t really show how to put it around your neck. Does it loop around twice to make it fit? I’m assuming yes, but wasn’t sure. Thank you!
Great scarf, you make it look so easy. Any time this would be a nice gift, but during this pandemic, it is a great gift idea. Thank you so much for sharing.
Dawn I just found your channel, it is so refreshing I have done some sawing but don’t claim to be good. I’m enjoying your tips and tricks. Thank you for your videos.
Thank you so much for this quick easy to sew gift! I saw no issues or interference with your filming or camera angles. I'm going to get a number of these stitched up for additional stocking stuffers! 😊🎄
Hi Dawn! Tks for sharing this tutorial with us. You hands are very pretty for tutorials & you voice is soothing to! Sharing is caring. Tks & Happy Holidays
Is there a tutorial as you referenced for the infinity scarf and a scarf with a pocket? The only thing I see under VIDEOS is this MOBIUS scarf. Thanks for your clear teaching.
@@StreamlineSeamstress HibDawn, I did this scarf today, but cut my fleece in a way that I did not have to match anything. It came out great. I did the top stitch on my babylock ellisimo with a straight stitch set at 3.5, with the sides lengthwise serged with a 4 thread overlock. Thank you.
I could have, my eyes are not as good as they use to be and the scissors give me a clear perspective. You absolutely could if you wanted to - I thought I mentioned that too! If I missed it, sorry! Happy Holidays!
Morning! Thanks for watching! Louise I made a video on how to make both, the magnetic wristlet and the pin cushion! Here's that video >th-cam.com/video/IOEsaDWTtdo/w-d-xo.html
This is the perfect last minute gift idea I was looking for!! I heard you mention adding a zipper....just curious what that is for (pocket maybe?) and how to add one.

Love the idea, I will work on that! Merry Christmas!
I always wanted to know how to do a twist scarf. Thnx for sharing.
You do not twist it, but sew the last seam at opposite ends, this creates the 'twist.'
Beautiful. Can you use a walking foot?
When it comes to hand sewing, I made a leather thumb cover that's covers the whole thumb. Yes I have picked my thumb more than once. Love the Scarf.
Thank you!

Merry Christmas Dawn. I would love a scarf that had a head covering attached. All one piece. Not having to deal with a hat AND scarf would be
Sorry didn't finish. A one piece would be ideal! Thanks

Awesome video👍🏼
Thank you very much! Happy Holidays! 🎄🙂
Great video. I do alterations and was wondering what brand scissors do you feel are the sharpest?
Very nice scarf. However, for a novice sewer, it would be helpful to see how you made it into a tube...
Sorry! Not sure what you mean dear, I did show that?
You are wonderful! Thnx!
Wow, thank you! Thank you for watching!! Happy Holidays!

My pleasure, thank you!
Thanks a lot! 🌸🌸
You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much for the inspiration. Where did you buy this fabric?
Joann, but that was a few years ago!
Beautiful😊❤️
Thank you! 😊Happy Holidays MJ!
Merry Christmas!
❤❤❤
What size would you recommend for a preteen?
Preteen, I'd say no more than 60" long and about 8" wide before sewing.
Could this be done on a serger?
Yes it could, but I'd be very careful with matching the pleats!
Thank you.
Why would you not use a rotary blade? Wouldn't that make it easier and straighter?
I could have, my eyes are not as good as they use to be and the scissors give me a clear perspective. You absolutely could if you wanted to - I thought I mentioned that too! If I missed it, sorry! Happy Holidays!
I made this as a gift.. but when I was done, I wondered WHERE or IF to put my "made with love..." label... thoughts??
Glad you love it, I wrap mine in tissue and add a sticker 'made by the Streamline Seamstress with love"
Thank you for such a detailed video!
You are so welcome! Enjoy your sew time!
Good morning from New Orleans
I am interested in how your pin cushion is made as well. Please share. Thanks
Morning! Thanks for watching! Louise I made a video on how to make both, the magnetic wristlet and the pin cushion! Here's that video >th-cam.com/video/IOEsaDWTtdo/w-d-xo.html
How wide is your fabric?
The fleece comes 60" wide. The scarf is cut 18"x 60" (as close to selvages as possible)
Happy Holidays!
@@StreamlineSeamstress thank you, I was wondering same thing😊
👍
This is the perfect last minute gift idea I was looking for!!
I heard you mention adding a zipper....just curious what that is for (pocket maybe?) and how to add one.
Hi Bonnie, Yes! My next video to post is the same exact scarf with a hidden zipper pocket! Stay tuned it's posting soon!
