This is the way to do it! No need to spend $30k to get out on the water. Do you think this boat would go well with a 55 lbs trolling motor just for cruising around a lake?
Awesome video! I have been researching inflatables like true kit, Achilles, and Saturn. I really wanted welded seams so I’m looking at the upgraded versions and I really like this 415. I am curious though about the 12 hp being equivalent to a namebrand at 9.9 hp, do you know why they brand this as a 12 hp instead of a 9.9? Does it truly make the 9.9 hp or do you think they achieve the 12 hp in the same clone body? Thanks!
If they sell it as a 9.8hp, it will trigger certain laws, and they can't sell them. The 12hp Hangkai is a Tohatsu 9.8hp 2-stroke model with identical parts.
I really appreciate you posting all these videos , like mowt of us here ive spent hours onnthe boats to go site going through all the inflatables and im currently undecided on what to get the 13.8 or the sd330w, any lthing in the works to review the sd330wide?
@@ErickMartinSucre I 100% will use your link, I really appreciate the info, it's hard to visualize the boats just looking at their site so your videos are a big help in the decision making process
This one is 13.8 feet long and goes for around 1400. Heat-welded seams, 3 aluminum seats, and well balanced that my 12hp hangkai was over-revving, meaning it is capable to run well with little power.
With basic care, and not leaving in storage for years, 7-10 years average. I have an SK385XL Kaboat that's been with me for 4 years now. I beat the living crap out of that thing and it still holds like a champ, and this is before Boatstogo/Saturn introduced the heat-welded seams. Mine has the glued seams and it is intact.
@ErickMartinSucre That's awesome. I was hoping it wasn't just a few years. I'm going to get the big 18 footer to go out on the Missouri River and chill on sand bars.
@@usdpaulp Whoa! Hahaha! That thing is a beast of a boat! You'll obviously will be using a trailer and not put on the back of the car like I do, I am sure. I saw that one up close at the Fort Desoto boat ramp once, and it has a lot of presence, it demands attention. If it is not soo much trouble, plz use my link since it helps me a ton. alnk.to/hDqkqyZ
Minimum, 15hp, 20hp preferred. I use a 12hp Hangkai and that motor could probably get 2-3 ppl on plane. For 5 ppl, maybe an 18hp Hangkai "Budget option", or any main brand "Suzuki, Yamaha, Tohatsu, Mercury, Honda" 20hp. If you choose the Hangkai, keep in mind that this model is a direct clone of the Yamaha 15hp 2-stroke outboard. amzn.to/3Mtj5YU
Glad to see you're doing good brother! Love the reviews, can't wait for the day I can scoop up one of these inflatables you've reviewed!
Thank you! I love these boats, and I see myself using my SK385XL kaboat a lot. Big bladders and easy to deploy.
Great video as always. Boat looks fantastic bags of room. Engine pushes it along nicely 👌
Indeed! The boat is so well built that the motor started to over rev. It glides like glass.
Great vid Erick! Sweet looking boat too!
😊😊😉
Nice boat Eric..👍
Thanks 👍8-)
Hi Erick, how big should be my engine to get my family (5) people on this beauty?
20 preferred, 15 minimum.

Sure! I've done it before. I switched to gas motors because they give more power and range.

@unclelazer5200 Glad I can be of help 😊
Hey Eric...nice boat. Do you have a hydrofoil on your hangkai?
Yes I do. It helps glide better and reduce the splash behind the boat.
I love your videos i have ordered the same motor just wondered how many hours you have on the Hankai and if you have had any issues . Thanks Matt

Thays very helpful thank you
Glad I can help. They just need some love when you first get one. Place lubrication where it needs it, do the break-in, and that is it.
Brilliant 😊
Thank you!
Great vid!
Thank you! 😊
How big is the boat? How much? What type of floor?

Is it ok to inflate and deflate after each use? I don't have room to store it inflated. Thanks
I have both my boats currently inflated and tied up to hand trucks at the moment. I inflate and deflate all the time so yes.
@@ErickMartinSucre ok thank you

Speed test on this saturn big boat?
Around 19mph or so is what I got. Cruise speed of 15.
Is that the same hangsu 9 hp
Lol, the very same. My Hangtsu 9.8hp 2-stroke.
How many years should these saturn boats last?

Tohatsu need to speed up on cutting weight down on their engines or it will be taken over by chinese outboards
100% agreed. That Hangaki 12hp has the same weight as my 6hp Tohatsu.
