Thank you! the major difference I can tell was how stable the SD model was compared to the CB due to its ability to trim through water and heavier and larger tubes for balance. I was able to stand up more easily on it as well especially when you want to cast out from the boat. Overall just felt more safe even if you end up hitting a rock or something too. Def faster in speed (even though it's heavier so easier to plane it) I'd recommend the SD model in every way.
Hey so I see you post on the Saturn so I have the heavy duty SD488 model amd it say it has 5 chamber so I know the psi is 3.6 for the tibes 5.8 for the keel as I have the aluminum flooor so my question is do I put all the air chambers up to 3.6 amd thme the keel to 5.8 as I have the pressure release valve so I don over infalte or to I just keep pumping air into the front chamber and when it’s full it will release the pressure if it gets to much do you know I’m confused on that part At my tibes all fill right but when I take the boat on the water seem like it needs more air tho amd in the book I got with it All it says is about the psi thanks
Hi! I use Rule ID20 High Speed Inflator/deflator, you can actually see the product on this video on 1:22 how it looks. I'd highly suggest this product if you're looking for one
sd365 is much, much heavier, how do you manage to load it into your car by yourself? If i have a truck, it looks like it weights over 110lb, after using it when its wet, it weigh another +15-20LB so how do you manage to load into your car? Thanks
Inflatable floor can be detached after deflating (unlike monoblock honwave ie series boats). I estimate if the boat is 110lbs in total, you can think of it like ~80lbs tubes +30lbs airdeck floor.
@@ia6980 Also known as single-layer PVC drop stitch fabric, it consists of PVC coated mesh and drop stitch construction. The PVC thickness is typically 1.1mm (0.0433 inches), and the overall weight of the drop stitch fabric is approximately 2.7 kg/㎡ (0.553 lb/ft²)
one major pro for using the CB model is that it's much lighter so I usually use it more frequently. for SD model, I usually have someone with me to help or I'd need to use some type of wheels to transport unfortunately. and the air floor does add more than i expected for sure so I'm separating it too.
Hi thanks for asking, I just got it from Amazon and it was wheels for kayak here is the link if u r interested TMS CART-CANOE/KAYAK-KY001 Boat Kayak Canoe Carrier Tote Trolley a.co/d/ayA6id8
The sb front is elevated so on camera looks shorter but they are the same length actually, I should show different camera angle for sure next time! Thanks for the comment!
Ok so I bought the 2000 dollar Saturn 16 ft heavy duty one wjat the difference between mine and a 1000 dollar one I’m hoping mine is stronger and better tho
Sounds like you purchased this one www.boatstogo.com/inflatable-boats-sd488.asp, this looks amazing, first you have the aluminum floor which will give you more sturdy balance, I just have an air fill inflatable floor so kind of hard to stand for a long time if fishing or anything. You also have ability to install steering wheels and seats since the boat is big enough and heavy enough to carry all that weight. it's just built for more comfortable experience. in that link, you can click on More Picture section to see what you can build out :) wish i have that one for sure
@@Fishing_Fables ya that is why I got it still waiting for it to come hopefully woth no problem amd no issues with the boat first time I ordered form that sight amd Saturn to I hope it’s made like Saturn says thanks for the information we will see got Pam’s this summer this is why I whemt woth Saturn instead of bris will see thanks
Only thing you didn’t say in your video is are they mad different wjat o mean is one that cost 700 is not as well made as one 2000 dollars they you buy is what I was looking to hear about tho hmm
I can agree with that, i mean there is a material difference too one is thiner than the other so there is a risk getting easily ripped too, I think i've experienced that but not particularly due to not being made well, but def good point
For me Saturn are not good I just bought the 16 ft aluminum floor sd488 and it came with scuff makes and what look like a little finger nail cut on it tho when I pay 2000 dollars for something I expect it to be new tho I’m thinking Rhett sent me one that was used and didn’t even get the hand pump with it tho not happy bris is better now for me mine came with everything and better made them Saturn I bleave
Thanks for the video. I’m in the process of trying to decide which Saturn boat will suit me best!
that's awesome! glad i can help, let me know ifyou have any additional questions and hope your search goes well!
Great video. What was the difference in performance?

Hey what kind of pump are you using? I just bought the CB365 but my air pump does not fit the hose that comes with the boat.
I had the similar issue so I had to manipulate to fit the hose a bit unfortunately using duct tapes and cylinder shape end to connect
I remember my first time unboxing it. NOW its FULLY EQUIPPED with TWO MOTORS!
Two motors!! amazing!! Love it :)
What battery powered pump are you using
Hi! I use Rule ID20 High Speed Inflator/deflator, you can actually see the product on this video on 1:22 how it looks. I'd highly suggest this product if you're looking for one
the pump is powered by just a car battery btw forgot to mentioned that

@boatsandoutboards9070 air deck cannot be 30lb, unless its aluminum deck, this boat is wider and boat in itself is much heavier

12ft x 3ft x 0.55 =20lb

ahh sorry to hear that, it could be, I mean I'd def see if you can return and get a new one for sure.
Next time when doing comparison, dont use wide angle option on your camera, it distorts image and you dont know what you're looking at
Thanks for the feedback!
