What's the weight capacity for this boat? I'm thinking about getting one but I need one with at least 1,000 pound weight capacity. The one I'm looking into has 3 aluminum benches for the boat seats. Is it better just to build a box to put a seat on?
It comes with a registration paper that you fill out and take it to the dmv then they will tax you depending where you live plus registration I paid like 300$ and it’s for two year sticker and you could get the ocean mussel sticker for like 5$ and after that registration will come out to like 15$-20$
Hey bro I got a question. I got the same boat I think 18ft Saturn. I’m having trouble with the side rail . I got 4 small rail and 2 big rail . Where do you put the big rail ? I see you don’t got big rails on or I’m trippin. ?
Hey so I just got my Saturn SD488 boat amd it doesn’t look like a heavy duty one tho supposed to be heavy duty heat welded I’m not sure about that aslso I looo around it amd seen scuff marks a little amd wjat looks like a little nail s fa h slit on the middle of the tube a little one doesn’t look like a hole maybe a scratch tho zoom on woth my phone looks like a little tiny scratch but to try amd send it back would be a big headache tho so maybe it’s just me do not know nothing about there boats might be heavy duty welding kist lolkls likes it’s not that thick tho for 2000 I’m thinking I should have got the bros witch is 2000 denier tho wjat do you think about there boats are they well made amd heavy duty I only blew mine up one time tho so far amd when I put the aluminum floor on the side rails don’t snap in like they say I put them on the floor amd they still wiggle so do you know is that normal or should they snap in tho amd not slide any information would help me I know when it gets shipped I expect a little issue tho
I think mine was well made I’m all ways pumping into things like bushes at the lake once I have it full with air is steady .due you have a pump for the the high pressure needs to be at 3.5 psi and your floor should fit snugs doesn’t really click they just get stuck you add a little bit of air then install the floor then fill all the way then the floor should get wedge between the floor at tubes
@@Omarfishingadventures ok ya thanks I’ll get that I appreciate not blew it up but not full just to make sure but the little looks like a scratch or little it bitty tear you can only see when you take a pic of what I thought was a little scuff it’s a indent on the tube no big deal and doesn’t leak or have any issues at all I just took a pic and zoom in on the pic looks like a little indent on the first layer that is why I’m asking if they are well made I know it’s heat welded to tho amd some scuff marks aroid the transon when I open it unfold it I do not know if they test them or wjen they make them never had a Saturn boat before so asking someone who knows about them it said heavy duty made that is why I bought it as I like to fish the ocean But now I see it’s not heavy duty like there fishing boats they have on there sight but when I seen the 16 ft heavy duty I was expecting all around extra protection but I guess that is only on there fishing boat not the 16 ft heavy duty sd488 amd you don’t see bit loe 3 videos on it tho but thanks o leanr my lesson next time will look at a brisk made of 2000 diner tho
@@Omarfishingadventures ok when I blow it up again to put my wheels on it I’ll send you a pic of it I tore it down and put it in the bag but in this week I’m gonna blow it up again just to put the wheels back n then I’ll send a pic of it thanks
I have the exactly same boat! Waited a long time and finally find you! I need your help mate! I'm getting into trouble now with the first and second section floor. It feels like I installed the first floor upside down. The connection between first and second floor will raise quite a bit creating a hole in front keel when I'm at WTO with my 20hp suzuki@20knot. Could you please take a look at the connection on your first floor. It is different length at the connection mine is upside long and downside short. Is the long side on your first floor up or the short side up? Thanks! BTW, I'm in Texas, and I ran quite a few times from Padre island to close shore. Very nice boat feeling!
The longer/shorter side at connection can also be identified by seeing if there are rivets on that side of panel. The riveted side has short connection bar and the smooth side has long bar!
I want one but not sure one that big . I am thinking the Saturn sd470 . I believe that one is a 15footer .
Go with your gut tells you that’s what I did I was thinking of buying a kayak then bump into these inflatable boats
Is that channel islands? I have the same boat but i dont have a trailer, what length is the trailer??
Yup my trailer was a jet ski one 15’ and made it little longer and welded some brackets for the wood
@@Omarfishingadventures awesome, thanks for the input man i appreciate it
I got the same boat and the right trailer need to be at least 21’ foot length which is good for boats between 14’ to 18’ ft .

Capacity is 2500 and the bench seat due the job but moves a lot I like it with the box better with a chair on top
@@Omarfishingadventures wow thats a lot bigger capacity than I thought it would be. Thank you.
I want to buy one but I do not know where to take it to register where you went to register it to be able to use it
