looks like a cool build, i just finished a XXT build was like yours in that i had a little work sourcing parts on ebay but i prevailed, spent too much im sure but have a nice xxt runner.
Wow, I am very envious of your RC room. I too have 75% of RC car action issues from 1989-2008. I like how you organized your collection. Do you have a link to those magazine storage boxes? I definitely need a better system of organization, mine are all stacked horizontal on a bookshelf. I love the old Kyosho 1/8 buggies too! I was intimidated by anything gas powered for a long time but then a close friend of mine got a Mugen MBX4 so I got a Kyosho MP6 Sport and and absolutely LOVED it! Thanks for watching and sharing your story!
@@vintagerctour5302 i can understand that, a stupidly started out with a RTR Kyosho nitro 1/8 neo bug. It was still learning how to race and tune and work on your car at the same time but it was well worth it. Put me on the right path, do you still have your MP6 by any chance? I know that would be something I'd like to see on camera.
@@bluecrabnitroracing4499 Funny thing is that no I dont have my MP6 anymore but I do have my friends MBX4 cause he gave it to me when he got out of the hobby! I still run it a bit every summer.

people on ebay selling parts for older losi cars have lost their minds with listing parts like a $4 xxt front bumper for $125, there's a couple sellers that are stripping cars and listing the old used parts for 10-20 times what the part originally cost new, i gave up threw my cars in boxes, maybe someday if i find a sane source for parts i'll finish restoring my old losi's. in the mean time i have my old slash which parts are always available for and i mistakenly bought a new kyosho mad van ve which keeps me busy because it constantly needs repairing.....
I still have my LXT with the box pretty cool to see.
The 92 to 95 mags would bring back insane lost memories

I remember those motor /transmission plates used to come warped. Not aligned well at all. Anyone remember that?
