    I need an XT. I had an RC10 CE and an early RC10T, sold them, no regrets. Now that I have a shelf queen JrX2 and JrXPro I want an XT to round out my early Losi collection.

    Just got my old JRXT runing and updated to use Brushless. My first venture into RC since maybe 94? That is a super clean example, very nice!

    I have o-rings and new shick seals for it. It's the same shock as the double x. Hobby shop went under back in 98 and I bought all the losi parts

    I’m selling my JRXT on eBay right now and boy, I’ve got half a mind to just cancel the auction and enjoy it myself. Unrelated: man you’ve gotta get an ultrasonic cleaner. Cleaning your parts that way will change your life. 👍🏼

    I used to run a BNR motor. They’re pretty hot, I mean fast. But they don’t last long.

    I love the old Losi cars. Your video's are very cool, thanks for making them. Any chance you shot video servicing that transmission?

    Are you doing any more JRX T resto builds? Interested in a Jammin Jay tribute, would you help me out with your knowledge? Like Jason's from Jconcepts

    Just a question If you add a 12 turn modified motor to this truck is there metal gears that you can add to the transmission? or what did they gears did they run for the modified class. Tying to get my old JRTX back together but I want to run modified now.

    question about your shock rebuild........... did you use the double O-Ring cartridge's? (if so did you have to use a spacer between the cartridge and shock piston?) or are those the original cartridges? im in the process of rebuilding a Jrx2 and this is the only issue ive come by being the original cartridges are two lengths

    I just dug my JRxT out. Are parts no longer available for these?

    • @vintagerctour5302
      @vintagerctour5302  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct. No parts available but join the "Vintage Losi" group on FB. There are a bunch of great collectors on there (including me!) that would be happy to help with parts if we can!

    new to the channel !! I have a JRXT that has a car body on it that i bought in the 90s the question i have is the front wheel axle bearings have a little play in them to the point that the wheel has alot of wobble when running the car how do i fix that problem or do you have a part number for the front wheel mounting axle so i can search for new parts..

    • @vintagerctour5302
      @vintagerctour5302  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for sharing your JrxT story! As for the front end play, Losi used that same aluminum axle setup on almost every car kit until the XX platform. I've never run across any axles that are worn enough to create play. The bearings however can loosen up so start with a fresh set (3/16" x 3/8") and also see how well they press into the wheel- should be fairly tight. Hope that helps!

    i just bought a jrx s lot on ebay, shortly after i was told it belonged to bk himself. i certainly feel that someone may appreciate it alot more, as i am recent to the rc scene and did not know much about him. the lot includes nearly two full cars along with MANY spares, and even a few parts that hes was modifying .if you know anyone who might be interested i could use some help finding these a good home. i have pics if interested. also i was able to confirm the previous owner (kinwald) after contacting a close friend of his-jason ruona jconcepts

    I remember that car, it has the slipper screw in the side of the transmission.

    • @vintagerctour5302
      @vintagerctour5302  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a differential access hole in the side of the transmission but yeah- Really cool transmission for its time!

    Everyone thinks the rc10 is the the og but it's not. It was the JRX Team Losi had a and in the development of the rc10 but for some reason everybody has a garage against teak losi. It's a sad misconception
