Hey mate love your stuff! What’s your favourite time to fish nudgee? I go there quite often but only around the low, thinking of trying the high after watching!
@@BTTFishing Hey ! Thanks man 🤙 yeah low is great but sometimes takes a while to hook a fish and the current moves the plastic a lot. Iv had amazing session 1-2 hours before dead high. Depending on how deep you want to wade - the flatties and tailor love coming into the flats (doesn’t have to be close to the channel) also a bigger high tide helps… 😎
@@ausfishing347 hahaha yeah I’ve had a few comments about that 😂 I don’t know what I’m doing with the filleting basically ! But now have been enlightened 👌
@ haha allgood bruz we all start somewhere I see a lot of people do it but no need if your gonna skin them but if you do scale them keep the skin on it’s delicious and has all the omega 3 in it
@ haha not sure man I’ve always eaten on almost every fish bream whiting flathead snapper sweetlip etc even if you crumb it you can still leave the skin on haha if you don’t like oily fish I suggest taking it off on fish like tailor and mackerel just because there already pretty oily but I love it
@ legend thanks man that’s good advice haha pays for me to do things wrong on the internet and then people help me learn 😆😆 I’ll definitely be trying some different ways of cooking it in the future

Don’t scale it, you’ll find filleting it a lot easier. And cut away from you as you’ll get a bit more power 👌🏽
@@rosslapthorne9692 aee legend thanks for the tips 🤙
Where is this at and love your videos
@@Fishing_mtb_guy hey thanks mate ! This is at nudgee beach in Brisbane :)
Love nudgee bro. Got 2 60cm flatties in 20 mins there the other week
@@punkkx8193 such a flatty meet up spot 😂 always pays giving Nudgee a go
@FishingFixation haha yeah. I had a business in banyo before. Use to go nudgee In lunch breaks or after work
all that effort for just a flathead
Once I drove 6 hour up north and only got 1 flathead… so I’ll take this as win hahah
Why gut it and scale it if your just gonna fillet it and skin it
