- A quick afternoon fishing session at Nudgee Beach in Brisbane, flicking the Zman 3inch MinnowZ with the out going low tide - targeting flathead for dinner. The session was pretty slow with one legal flathead landed, but the beautiful glass out at the end made up for it.

My favourite Zman Soft plastic is the Slim Zwimz 3" in Motoroil colour. I caught my PB 70cm Flathead on it which can be watched on my TH-cam channel, alongside many other TH-cam videos which you can binge 👍

@@ImJasonFish Enjoyed watching it mate as always. I've caught a 50cm Flathead and they do put up a good fight, you can usually tell you have hooked a Flathead by their head shakes.

@@ImJasonFish Have all ready seen the video mate of your PB Flatty very entertaining to watch. I have been fishing around the Pine River but more towards Sandgate on the rock ledges I caught a small Flathead there on a Diawa Double clutch. I have had very good luck with Flathead around the rock wall of the Scarborough Marina I have caught my PB Flatty there which was only 50cm, have you ever considered fishing there? I have also caught a Flatty at Margate around Scotts Point which was my first fish on a plastic, your video of you fishing there was very useful as it gave me good tips on my twitching action. I like to use the Daiwa Double Clutch and a Zman 3.5 inch Grubz in bloodworm colour with a 1/4 jig each, I find that plastic to be very versatile and effective.
