so sick catching a trout of the sea wall yewwww
@@owenseverything30 yeeewww !
I've caught heaps of tailor on plastics. Cheaper way to go imho. Great vid and some nice creative shots.
@@StatD yeah man it’s a pretty cool way to catch them ! Definitely going to use them more 😛 cheers
I'm 4 minutes into this video, just hoping he catches a fish at some point
@@jordz173 hang in there bro 😎

Life jacket?
yo its great to see someone post a vid of my home town
Subbed. Keep them coming ❤
@@australian_fishing_adventures thanks ! Appreciate the support 👌👌
Are you South African?
Hey ! I’m from New Zealand
underrated bro should definitely keep posting loved it🎉
Legend mate thanks a lot 👌👌 I definitely will
Love it brother! Been fishing all my life, I’m living in the area and always keen for a session if you are keen to increase your chances of filming big fishes🤙🏼!
That third spot on the ledge is one of my favourite bull shark spots.. it’s easier to get down to if you park at the roundabout on the top street and just walk down the hill where the pipe is 😂😂
Yay 😁 it's awesome 👍 to see someone who has done it them self.
I still need to catch a jewfish. Good job on you first one. Evans head is my favourite place to go fishing, love it even more than my home town.
Class vid mate!
Awesomee!!!!
@@vitormusskopf6003 thanks budddddyyyy !!
Hey bro i notice you sound a bit New Zealander. Are you from New Zealand?
@@Flame-x8w haha yeah man I sure am 😃 only been in Australia about 3 years !
love how in the lunch montage every frame had the buzz of cicadas in the background. perfectly sums up the background noise of summer aus
@@junopettingill8169 so nice ! Such classic feel good sound 😆
Music makes me feel like I'm waiting for Centrelink to pick up 😂
@@davidpritchard1213 😧😧😧😧😧
Looks like a special spot and nice work on the jewy. Maybe keeping the location even more general like just ‘east coast Aus’ or ‘northern nsw’ instead of naming the actual place could be an idea. TH-cam/social media can make these places super accessible to a big audience really quickly and with the increasing popularity of fishing i think we need to do a bit more to protect these special places. For example, I didn’t have Evan’s head on my radar but now I do and probably many others who watch this will too
@@DK0086 yeah man you’re definitely right ! I’ve always had the idea on this channel of being transparent but it wouldn’t hurt for the ones who want to put in the hard work on google maps to get to figure it out. Rather than just serving it on a platter 😝 also not everyone puts the little ones back so less fisherman there the better for all 😜 Thanks for the comment :)
@@FishingFixation I actually think that most people appreciate having the location. Been fishing since I'm a kid and having a Spot does not make you catch fish if you don't put the mahi into it
Congrats on ya first Jewy, one you will never forget. I agree with the above sentiment though, definitely keep the spots to yourself.
@ Thanks mate ! Yeah the more I progress and hunt down these locations the more I want to protect them :)
@@davincifpv3983 good point ! Difficult one. Anyone who is prepared to put in the hours deserves the fish for sure :) but also pretty easy to google maps the location based off drone footage :) I’ve Put some ours into that haha 😛
Nothing like that feeling of catching a first species! 🤝
@@saltwaterfishingnq sweet sweet feeling !!
Most gorgeous looking Taylor I’ve ever seen
hahahaha the best Tailers are definitely the jew fish ones
So jealous of the catch 🫶
First comment

Grate vids mate love all the spots your been so far looking forward to mroe watching you makes me want to go out for a fish keep it up 👍
Thanks for the kind words mate ! super nice to hear I'm motivating people to get out there more. We have such an amazing back yard !

@@angusmcgrory7162 bingo 🤌
That looks amazing 🤩 do you know what rod and reel you were using??
@@RealGlueStick Hey man ! Yeah that was my first ever set up ! It’s a Daiwa crossfire combo (not sure which exact model) 🤘🏻
mate... a tip from a chef, if you're gonna skin the fish, you don't really need to scale it, saves your time and less messy. Of course that also depends on your knife type & condition, and skills
@@skyblair826 ahhhh yes ! I’ve had a couple of comments about this haha 😛 a good tip, I’ll definitely be trying it out and also upgrading the knife situation also hahaha 🤣
Why gut it and scale it if your just gonna fillet it and skin it
@@ausfishing347 hahaha yeah I’ve had a few comments about that 😂 I don’t know what I’m doing with the filleting basically ! But now have been enlightened 👌
@ haha allgood bruz we all start somewhere I see a lot of people do it but no need if your gonna skin them but if you do scale them keep the skin on it’s delicious and has all the omega 3 in it
@ helll yeah ! I’m keen for a bit of that crispy skin ae 🤣 I heard on some fishes skin you can’t eat ?? Maybe I’m wrong
@ haha not sure man I’ve always eaten on almost every fish bream whiting flathead snapper sweetlip etc even if you crumb it you can still leave the skin on haha if you don’t like oily fish I suggest taking it off on fish like tailor and mackerel just because there already pretty oily but I love it
@ legend thanks man that’s good advice haha pays for me to do things wrong on the internet and then people help me learn 😆😆 I’ll definitely be trying some different ways of cooking it in the future
Shoulda let the poor thing go looks under size anyway
I Definitely don’t eat undersized fish !! but I appreciate the concern for the fish. It was 6cm over the legal size which is perfect for eating 👌 I catch and realise many many fish and am very selective 👌 thanks for the comment though
Ha I can see my house! Nice work.
Watch out for snakes there in the trees... What size of Double clutch are you using? Very small bib for a Daiwa double clutch...
G'day video mate 👌 👍
Ayy! So happy to see a local vid! Ive been fishing in the river once a week for the last 3 months ish... Caught heaps but nothing dinner sized yet. Lots of fish in there!!! Keen to see more of what you catch around the area... Would love to see if you have any luck around Tewantin as I've heard it's a good spot 🤙

Crocodiles up north, spiders down here. There's bound to be spidodiles (crocoders?) around here somewhere.
HAHAHHA geez hope not !! Sounds scary 😧
