    I came in from some heavy weed pulling and my neck and shoulder blades were really painful. I thought I could find some help from Feldenkrais, and once again you have come to my rescue! Thank you ☺️

    This was really great, thank you. It seems to reinforce the video you did several years ago with the 'ear pull' sitting in a chair. That video gave me one of those instant improvement experiences you mentioned. I have never been the same since, haha, in a good way! I can't believe other yoga and dance teachers ever speak of letting the pelvis support the head. I can finally find my balance!

      Glad you found this helpful. Some yoga and dance teachers do understand this skeletal support-- this connection is catching on... slowly. :)

    Thank you, Annie. I had a lot of pressure on the base of my neck (due to a car accident 11 years ago), and after the movements I feel a bit more relaxed.

      Awesome... give yourself a little time to shift this pattern with gentle movements

    I was very stiff (neck and shoulders) when I started this lesson and it's already better! Thank you. Is it advisable to do a few different neck / shoulder exercises in a row or better to wait in-between exercises for a better result?

    • @SensingVitality
      @SensingVitality  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great-- generally, it's best to wait a bit, an hour or a few hours-- let your body adjust and integrate the lesson and you can either try the lesson again or another in my playlist: Head & Neck Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLrnMEMVXiYLy8Z6azdx0hkhKsAco0C5x5.html
      Daily lessons are helpful especially if you are having issues -- they help "tune up" your alignment and movements.

    My neck felt great after doing this twice through x thank you x I still have so much tightness in my posterior inferior serratus - I am not sure how to release this muscle group

    • @SensingVitality
      @SensingVitality  ปีที่แล้ว

      Serratus is one of those areas caught in the middle of holding up the balance for the rib cage and shoulder girdle. Nice to work with the skeletal support through pelvis and Core. Try another lesson that works with the ribcage or pelvis either from my shoulder playlist or hips or core. I've listed a few playlists for you...

      @@SensingVitality Thanks so much Annie x I LOVE your amazing teaching and work - they are all so wonderfully balancing x I teach lots of Pilates classes and also have SIJ disfunction so if anything my core is over worked and my Quadratus/Serratus /Posterior Chain is overtight hence very uncomfortable times. I will definitely check out the videos you have posted for me thank you so much for responding!

    Does this work for fibromyalgia cause I still hurt as much after 2 rounds

    • @SensingVitality
      @SensingVitality  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fibromyalgia is a tricky situation. Leave this lesson -- do a lesson that is on the floor/ground instead of sitting. Seated lessons require a bit more effort than lying down and can be a bit gentler for your body. Breathing and eye lessons are helpful for fibromyalgia to help calm the nervous system. Check my playlists--

    • @SensingVitality

      maybe twice a day-- awareness practices are meant to be fresh-- so if you'd like to do more lessons, try another lesson from one of my playlists or something that attracts your attention in my videos:
