Believe me son- Living in the Great Northworst (OR or WA) you get really tired of the crappy weather for 8 months and expensive prices. Appreciate where you live the in Mid-West.
We bought a brand new 2013 Sonata Hybrid (Silver) back in 2014 and it has not had a single problem. We always have had it serviced at the dealer and it is very reliable. It's had its bumps and bruises but has held up real well! The color is Blue Sky Metallic by the way.
I thought that Hyundai was really striking when I first saw it. It's quite beautiful actually and looks great with the black interior. You'll get lots of compliments on it.
Not that one, the water leak through the roof shows that the structure of that shell has moved and broken the seam sealer along the spot weld joints. That means that, realistically, that shell is junk, it's never going to go back together right and whoever ends up with it is going to be chasing water leaks into the front of the cabin for ever. I would say that one is a parts vehicle only as the only way to repair it well would be to replace the shell as that one will never straighten up right...
@@senditsmith4854 I sort of guessed. I reckon to run one of those over the distances Randy is racking up you'd need to be able to tow your gas station around with you...
I had a Kia optima hybrid rental once. I drove it around all City driving and got 600 almost 700 miles on a tank full. Those cars are gas and battery powered. They also are comfortable as hell very very very quiet and lots of times you cannot tell if the thing is even turned on or not. at least the Kia I'm not sure about the Hyundai sonata, which is basically the sister to the Kia optima.
Love the colour of the Hyundai , silver /blue , striking colour. I own green ova gold or citric acid, awesome colour , better than bland white, silver, black .
i thought there would be NO MORE CARNAGE then this white chevy has dent's and it scared me i want to see cars with no dents just rust LOL JUST JOKEING Randy i love the content but will miss the carnage
That gen Ram have issues with the pressure vents in the back of the cab. The seals go bad, allow it to move, and let's in water. That's probably why you smelled water in the black 2500
Randy I love your channel man. When it comes to trying to figure out how to start some of those cars (BMW) you have the patience of a boiling tea kettle!
The 2003 Buick Park Avenue I mention yesterday is close to the color of that Hyundai it is a Silver Ice Blue that is on the G.M. line up of Cars but I'd say that one is very close to that color I like the Park Avenue
The Hummer I had something like that happen to a black Ford Focus 2002 Dallas it on not under driver side I will sit on the positive side is scraped away down the side of the car I rebuilt my car and it was fine ever since I'm just like you
I don’t like the blue color either. My Hyundai Elantra is red color. It’s not bad looking, also Hyundai’s are amazing cars. They really stepped up their quality. 😎
Buy the Hyundai. My father has one it’s a 2017. He does 100 miles a day and he loves it. He averages 50 plus mpg. Very reliable. Only issue he ever had was the transmission went out at 72K but it was under warranty.
Hey Randy, I miss the carnage videos! Can you start doing a Carnage only video, basically have 2 walkarounds, regular walk around and a carnage walk around. It was cool to try and figure out what happened to the vehicle!
That black Dodge Ram Longhorn edition also had very clear and pretty severe chassis/frame and driver's side front suspension damage. The chances are the front scuttle end panel isn't a repairable or replaceable part, it's part of the structure of the cab so you'd need to pretty much strip the front of the cab right down to component parts to replace it, which just wouldn't be worth it in terms of man hours. Replacing the cab would be the more sensible choice, but with the chassis damage as well that would be too much for the insurance. If the cab or the chassis had been OK then it probably would have been repaired. The water is getting into the truck through the broken spot weld joints, the rain or moisture runs down the windscreen and then, instead of draining onto the ground as it should, it's penetrating through the failed seam sealer on the joints. It looks like there's a lot of electronics in that one so, unless it sells soon and gets under cover, that one is going to be a nightmare as they'll be all sorts of problems with corrosion in the wiring, and being a very top line truck I'm guessing that the correct sub-looms for all the gear in that one are not going to be easy to get hold of, they may well be Dodge only and very expensive...
sky blue!! Get a hybrid! I got a highlander hybrid- 27mpg @ 78mph ,36 miles one way 5 days a week. holler! edit- hybrid lyfe: waking up in the a.m just to leave for work and realize you left they car on all night
Get the Ford with the 7,3 Diesal I got a F350 Dually , extend Can with a 6 speed . I towed Skidsteer a neither truck on trailer IT WAS LIKE THERE WAS NOTHING BACK THERE . IT'S A 2000 put a Chip in it it's got 180,000. Just done regular maintenance the trans has a cooler lines if they drop fix it keep fluid leave up I did not trans not cheap but I will sell my either trucks first . The are long and wide will not really fit in some drive thrus ..It's a big truck but it will due everything you need it to due Towing hauling marital in comfort . Milage is not bad at all .
I was hoping to see that Cadillac Seville SLS when you began the video. Reason being is that I have a ‘97, a very low mileage example that is perfect in every sense. I’m always interested in seeing where others have failed.
Hi Randy. Ice blue metallic. I like the Hundy. Im U.P. in Michigan, where its legal. I love the Copart vids! I like the Audi too, possible oil cooler line?
That fuel economy sucks for a "Hybrid"..... I had an ordinary 1991 Ford Escort that consistently got 38/39 around town, and 43 to 45 mpg on the highway!!!
well i dont have a hybrid. i have a diesel station wagon..... i live in the hills. i get up to 2000 ft. high where i live to 300 where i drive to like 160 miles a day. my car does a 47 mpg (all calculated as i live in europe km and litre genuine conversion). in reality all year long. with 100 F in summer and -5 in winter.
My Acura was totaled, and I have to say I am now a completed converted German car fanatic. I used to be a JDM obsessed fan boy haha. How much did the ‘15 Audi A3 Premium go for? I drive a ‘12 Audi A6 Premium Plus, and she is a beaut 😍😍 .
That hyndai sonata is like my mazda 6. The engine sounds like crap but it's supposed to. Lol. I think that's why people sometimes don't buy them. High compression, large 4 bangers, loud injectors, higher rpm.
That Hyundai had a badge with "blue something something" on the fender. Color aside it could be a great commuter car. Hyundais don't do that well at auction, so it may be a deal. That white truck at the end, if you can buy it right, would be a killer for content, and you'd end up with a nice truck. Think how many vids you could make out of that one vehicle; a frame swap would be the easiest way to go IMO, so that, doing the front end, getting it running, bodywork & paint....
Hey Randy. How much did you list the Cruze on Turo and how much are you thinking to put up the Hyundai if you get it? Are people interested for these type of cars?
Believe me son- Living in the Great Northworst (OR or WA) you get really tired of the crappy weather for 8 months and expensive prices. Appreciate where you live the in Mid-West.
On the Sonata, that color was only available on the hybrid. I believe they called it 'Blue Sky Metallic'.
tbh i quite like that color it looks nice on the car
I was just going to write silver blue. But that's probably better name and no doubt more official . I don't like the colour either and I'm a lady.
Randy, you said it before I could. "Prius Blue" - enough said!
The bmw battery and fuse panel is in trunk on passenger side. Same side that got hit. That's why all the errors.
Love your Copart videos. Would love to see maybe a monthly Carnage only walk-around?! I think you'd have pretty good support for it. 🙂
We bought a brand new 2013 Sonata Hybrid (Silver) back in 2014 and it has not had a single problem. We always have had it serviced at the dealer and it is very reliable. It's had its bumps and bruises but has held up real well! The color is Blue Sky Metallic by the way.
Back in the day when carnage was a thing😭
Exactly these walking around videos ain't worth watching without the Carnage
Ford used that color blue for many years. I had a mercury topaz and 2 grand marquis that color blue
Do not buy the ford super duty 6.0 the engine has issues over the head gasket and fuel system repairs
You can usually get the 6.0s pretty cheap now and if you bulletproof them they are actually pretty reliable.
Bring back the carnage. Please and thank you. But still enjoy the videos.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule showing us the cars randy and big thanks to copart for allowing you to do that.
That Sonata looks great. As long as it's not pink, I'd drive it without hesitation.
check out the diesel vw's, they get great mileage and are pretty reliable
I thought that Hyundai was really striking when I first saw it. It's quite beautiful actually and looks great with the black interior. You'll get lots of compliments on it.
pls bring back the carnage . love everything else but man it bums me out not seeing em
Prius is a great car. Just brought home a 70 inch tv yesterday in the car. Such a versatile car
That Hummer is super cool, I like the copper color, don't see too many of these anymore.
On the Sonata, it's a light ice blue color, which I like.
Don't let the color either excellent car they have a problem with the shutter don't know why but they go out not hard to change
Buy the hummer and a gas Station
Not that one, the water leak through the roof shows that the structure of that shell has moved and broken the seam sealer along the spot weld joints. That means that, realistically, that shell is junk, it's never going to go back together right and whoever ends up with it is going to be chasing water leaks into the front of the cabin for ever. I would say that one is a parts vehicle only as the only way to repair it well would be to replace the shell as that one will never straighten up right...
gosportjamie dude that was a joke
@@senditsmith4854 I sort of guessed. I reckon to run one of those over the distances Randy is racking up you'd need to be able to tow your gas station around with you...
gosportjamie yea
I believe they get like 7 miles to the gallon
I wouldn't even replace the front bumper on the Sonata. Just plastic weld it.
Bring back Carnage
I think I saw Gargamel jump out of the Hyundai!
Loving the actual repairable cars! Keep it up! Such a nice change from seeing nothing but scrap metal!
Randy if I ever need a bloodhound to sniff something out I would get you! lol. Love the sniffing when you get into a car. Great channel.
38 mpg is no joke though, im used to my cars running 18-24 mpg. With that hummer, I suspect a CRACKED frame. As well as ROOF damage.
The sonata would also be a great flip since it's a clean and nice car..
BMW battery is in the trunk. It’s probably smashed
The hummer hood lifted and caught the windshield in the crash as it was in an upward motion
That gen Ram have issues with the pressure vents in the back of the cab. The seals go bad, allow it to move, and let's in water. That's probably why you smelled water in the black 2500
Get the sonata!
In my Opinion the Hummer is a good Investment... Easy Fixers..
If you buy a 7.3l Ford power stroke you are not gonna regret it, i have one myself with 500k miles on it and everything is factory on it
My Sonata Hybrid gets around 37mpg around 60/40 expressway in town driving. EPA on it is 36 city and 40 hwy.
You should buy the hummer it's a great investment and extremely cheap!
Randy I love your channel man. When it comes to trying to figure out how to start some of those cars (BMW) you have the patience of a boiling tea kettle!
good way to pass the time and hope you shoe something nice
If you decide on the Sonata Hybrid you can always get it Plastidipped since you're not digging the color.
Bring back carnage. pls
The 2003 Buick Park Avenue I mention yesterday is close to the color of that Hyundai it is a Silver Ice Blue that is on the G.M. line up of Cars but I'd say that one is very close to that color I like the Park Avenue

I don't like the chrome front hood decoration on the Sonata, however I like most all shades of blue including this light shade.
Randy the black Ram has severe left front suspension issues. At the very least the coil spring is shaped like a "C"
I don’t like the blue color either. My Hyundai Elantra is red color. It’s not bad looking, also Hyundai’s are amazing cars. They really stepped up their quality. 😎
For one that lives in Oregon you would get real tired of the fog and rain we get. Lol
I really think u should buy that hyundai would be cheap to fix and drive till u sell it def better than buying high end some times
In Spain we called azul celeste, or celestial blue. Audi with timin belt, i prefer not. I prefer chain in my engine.
Buy the Hyundai. My father has one it’s a 2017. He does 100 miles a day and he loves it. He averages 50 plus mpg. Very reliable. Only issue he ever had was the transmission went out at 72K but it was under warranty.
Yeah thats great and all but not under warranty a tramsmission could be a big deal just saying
BRING BACK CARNAGE! I miss it one of the reasons I started watching you. Not fair for us that like it. Get rid of the motorcycles instead! PROTESTING!
that´s artic blue, that Hyundai looks good and the red Caddilac i love that one.
You missed your calling... you should have worked for the NTSB as an accident scene investigator!
Hey Randy, I miss the carnage videos! Can you start doing a Carnage only video, basically have 2 walkarounds, regular walk around and a carnage walk around. It was cool to try and figure out what happened to the vehicle!

Carnage Randy Carnage!!!!!!!!
The colour is nice
I would not mind taking a toilet with you guys one of these days I'm here in the state of Oklahoma I'm up in Tulsa County
sky blue!! Get a hybrid! I got a highlander hybrid- 27mpg @ 78mph ,36 miles one way 5 days a week. holler! edit- hybrid lyfe: waking up in the a.m just to leave for work and realize you left they car on all night

Hi Randy. Ice blue metallic. I like the Hundy. Im U.P. in Michigan, where its legal. I love the Copart vids! I like the Audi too, possible oil cooler line?
Hey fellow Yooper! 👍👍 Where in the U.P. are ya der? I live in SC now but born & raised in the Yoop!
I love my H--2 hummer.
That fuel economy sucks for a "Hybrid"..... I had an ordinary 1991 Ford Escort that consistently got 38/39 around town, and 43 to 45 mpg on the highway!!!
Randy the hyundai tells you on the car what the color is, it is located on the front fender and it says blue
well i dont have a hybrid. i have a diesel station wagon..... i live in the hills. i get up to 2000 ft. high where i live to 300 where i drive to like 160 miles a day. my car does a 47 mpg (all calculated as i live in europe km and litre genuine conversion). in reality all year long. with 100 F in summer and -5 in winter.
Nice and good video. You just get back to the right path. Thanks
Same here! I drive a '17 A6 3.0 Premium Plus with the black package, and it's my favorite car out of the ones I've had!
you ll come around again..after service perhaps..
Haha we miss the Carnage
16:32 Ahhhhh. Wish Randy had enough class to buy one such beauty beast.
Lucky! I always get sun, and I hate it so much.
BMW hood release have to pulled twice. Once to open, second time to the safety latch.
Also, you need to step on the brake to start it
Man , get the sonata , flip it quick or keep it for ur trips , its a nice car to put milage on
Re white Silverado; could a good frame shop straighten its front frame? Low miles, otherwise 2 fenders, grill & hood.
I miss the carnage videos man , I love them all!!
You should keep the GMC & put a turbo kit on it
The Hyundai looks like a great flip car.
That hyndai sonata is like my mazda 6. The engine sounds like crap but it's supposed to. Lol. I think that's why people sometimes don't buy them. High compression, large 4 bangers, loud injectors, higher rpm.
Put Carnage vehicles back
I call that color bluple, Randy. My 6 year old daughter agrees with me so it has to be right, cause she's 6 and said she knows her colors.lol
Buy the huyndai
Kenya watching
Uberman pulling out the old name
that's called "smurf cooter blue", a little too dark for skyblue,....just the perfect color match for a smurf's cooter.
That Sonata color is cornflower.
I love that color
On the Sonora Hybrid, I’d switch the front end back to the limited. The hybrid is hideous and the regular is slight less worse.
That Hyundai had a badge with "blue something something" on the fender. Color aside it could be a great commuter car. Hyundais don't do that well at auction, so it may be a deal. Hey Randy. How much did you list the Cruze on Turo and how much are you thinking to put up the Hyundai if you get it? Are people interested for these type of cars?
I thought i was watching an old video at first 😂 uber man
Buy fix and flip the Hyundai great content video
Veloster or Elantra would be great maybe even a genesis coupe
The Hybrid Hyundai would be a great buy, regardless of color. If it is cheap enough
Yep they were smoking some blunts up in that car.lol
Had one transmission went bad at 121,232 miles
Google "periwinkle blue" and check images - I think that "honday" is that color
In BMW you need to pull the hood release two times to open.
Nice hybrid
For what you need you most definitely need a truck a models nothing like the GMC
It’s portofino blue it was a ford color in the mid 90s
