    Nice Lincoln. This came out when I was in 8th grade. My doctor, and a former boss each has a 73 Mark IV Silver Luxury Edition. Silver paint, silver top, cranberry red crushed velour upholstery.

    Randy, that Lincoln is a sweet, sweet classic. I noticed on the right side of the bumper a sticker indicating the Dept of Defense. With some of the papers you leafed through in the glove compartment saying Delaware, I wonder if it was owned at one point by a government employee. Too bad you cant trace it back. Perhaps a leading official employee. Who knows? Anyway, it might be cool to buy it. Put some big old bull horns in the front. Someone may just love it. Also, this was on Elvis's favorite cars. Gave away like 5 of them during one of his shopping sprees.

    Stay away from the motorcycles. I have had one for 42 years and I am here to tell you drivers don’t look or see you on the road. Your head has to be on a swivel to make sure no one is pulling into your lane, cutting you off, the worst is people pulling out in front of you out of driveways and parking lots. If you haven’t ridden one before my advice is to get a scooter or a 150 or a 250 street bike and ride it for a few months to see if you like being out on the streets with cars zooming all around you. You don’t even have to be moving to be hit on one. Sitting at a stop sigh or a stop light people get run into by someone who isn’t paying attention, or distracted. I’ve been there! She was on her phone, ran right into the back of me and my bike! I’m willing to bet it is worse now because of everyone’s obsession with phones.

  • @rich_edwards79

    I would have the Lincoln in an instant. Not all of us like small Euro sports cars with revvy engines, and 911s are a dime a dozen on TH-cam. That car would make a wonderful classic cruiser. Fix the air, drop a Carpenters cartridge into the 8-track and hit the Interstate. Make like it's '73 and the fuel crisis never happened, then watch for the admiring looks from all the people in their Nissans and Toyotas. I find it hard to believe there's no demand for land yachts, however I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if those miles were genuine given the condition. Why it's at Copart is anyone's guess. Everyone is doing cheap 911s, no-one has a cheap land yacht aside from Jay Smart and I think he already moved his Mk6 on.

    Good god that Lincoln brings back some memories for me. My first car in 1997 was a 1977 Lincoln Continental Furilio Pucci edition. Black with gold flake, full white top, white leather interior and a thirst for gas that surpassed the appetite of any super car. I miss that car!

    @tommy72450 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I would steer clear of that lil Vulcan it's real old and that's a ton of miles for one of those. In my opinion a good starter bike would be a Honda shadow, Yamaha v star or a Harley Sportster 883

    The Kawaski is a good bike. Miles are NOT too high for a Japanese bike. Many times draining the bowls on the carbs will drain the gunk out, siphon the gas out it, new gas with carb cleaner added might fix its fuel. Only thing I dont like for you is forward foot controls can be awkward for a new rider. Taking a beginner's class is a GREAT idea. Rear shock air is your preload & dial is your rebound. Only use a hand pump on your shocks. Not a compressor. Many rear shocks only have preload so that's positive. Shaft drive is great as long as you change the grease every oil change or 2 oil changes. It's very easy to change.

    *The motor you are referring to that had all the problems was the oldsmobile Quad 4 and some had problems with the timing belt and belt guides but the biggest and most frequent issue that got everyone i know hating those motors was the head gaskets failing causing repeated, catastrophic engine failure. it affected the 87 - 91 oldmobile Calais,Cutlas Supreme, Pontiac Grand AM, Grand Prix, Buick Skylark and the Beretta LTZ with the Quad 4 engines in them. caused major recalls and caused those cars to get really cheap, really fast. I'm not a fan of that style Z24. HOWEVER, i simply LOVE the one i had it was a 1991 Cavalier Z24 in white with a 3.1L V6 5 speed. that thing was an ABSOLUTE rocket. it's supposed to take 5 1/2 hours driving above the speed limit to go from Knoxville to Memphis and back. and i used to do the trip in my Z24 in just a little over 3 hours. I got my boss worried about me doing that because we were working in Memphis replacing Bank computers for the Y2K scare and he flew out to Memphis for the day (30 minute flight usually) and worked with us then i took him to the airport in Memphis and dropped him off for his retun flight at 3AM then went back to the hotel and grabbed my stuff drove back to Knoxville and was sitting in the lobby waiting on him when he came in the office at 7AM He walked in, saw me and shook his head saying "My God boy, you're gonna kill yourself, I can't believe you made it back here that fast" he looked at me like i just stole his lunch or something when i told him i had been sitting in the lobby for an hour waiting on him so i could get my check. put it this way when we were short on computers i'm the one they sent back to Knoxville to get the others we needed. I sold my Z24 like an idiot to my wife's nephew. he had it for about 8 months and totaled it out on a rainy night by sliding off the road into a drain culvert. ever since then we've both been on the look out for another one in as good of a shape as that one and set up just exactly like the one we had. That 350Z is nice i'd drive that one happily! That Last Bike you are a little off on the name it's a Valkyrie GL 1500C (1520CC flat 6 cyl engine) 720 pounds, top cruising speed 131 mph 100HP liquid cooled engine. yeah that's a smooth cruiser but it's heavy too. Probably not a good starter bike lol There is a couple companies that make V8 powered bikes. one that comes to mind is Boss Hoss (i'll post a link below)* for a starter bike i wouldn't go much if any higher than 600CC my buddy tells me get a jap bike that doesn't cost much first to learn the fundementals on then when you've learned all you're going to sell what you got and buy the one you really want. he reccomends no less than a year of riding several times a week all year long before buying a bigger real bike.

    The Honda Valkyrie is essentially a Goldwing (arguably one of the most esteemed touring motorcycle series out there) with all of the big storage compartments and bulky body pieces stripped off. Heavy bike, but handles "nimbly" not beyond a relative novice (especially this version without all of the Goldwing 'bulkiness'. That engine is a dream, designed to go 200,000 miles (car like). That vintage (the 1500 cc) did have an issue with 4th to 5th gear transmission shift fork problems, most at 65,000 miles or more. Great bike for the freeway and wide open spaces in Oklahoma (big city, maybe not so much). They hold resale value well, lots of them on the road so parts, service common, big following so lots of good stuff on the interweb. Do your comparison price homework so that you don't pay too much out of the chute, and you can't go wrong.

    Is thar a kicker box for the CB radio on the Lincoln? ;) Very cool car. It is a time capsule from the 1970s.

    Hi ;) for porsche it looks like it got accident to the front maybe without history. Passenger side airbag panel is bent, they ar are bent if airbag is deployed. You can straighten it but will aways be visible. So check is there are airbag. And front lights are changed because of that. So inspect front ;) this is what i see from video ;)

    I drove a 74' Mark 4 for years and just loved it! I rebuild the motor as a 429, cuz I had a 429, and the C6 Trans... And what a Hi-Way car :) Randy... Buy the Lincoln!

    They have an aftermarket upgrade for the IMS Bearing which feeds it oil from a line on the oil filter adapter. The shop only needs to make a minor notch in the engine aluminum to let the oil line out from the bearing.
