I was 14 years old when I watched the news of the passing of Charles Chaplin. Great actor and I loved his silence movie. Gone But Not Forgotten. Rest In Eternal Peace Charlie❤🌹🙏🏿🙏🏻❤
Charlie Chaplin was an amazing actor. His films are some of the best in history. He deserves every award he won and every nomination he had. Such an interesting museum. A very talented man now rests with his wife . Rip Charlie and Oona.
He was so handsome, and lived in extreme poverty in London. Living at one time in a workhouse with his brother and mentally ill mother. His son Spencer said Charlie got depressed at Christmas, reminded of his own childhood. It's amazing how he created a new life in US.
I was 8 when he passed away and I just fell for everything Chaplin a couple months ago after seeing City Lights. I feel like 45 years without knowing more about this beautiful man was wasted. I could’ve smiled more. Love you Sir Charles.
You did a lot of work to create this interesting video about Charlie Chaplin - not every professional can make such a short but information-rich video. Your videos deserve a lot of appreciation, and I am grateful for your work and support your channel!
seeing this i felt like crying! i am 35 and i am obsessed with charlie. i have every single one of his movies and i am planning a trip to visit his studio in hollywood and get my photo in front of it dressed as the little tramp!
Charlie Chaplin was an excellent actor and producer. He was an amazing human being. Thanks LT for showing us his grave and telling us about his body that was stolen 😲 thanks for sharing 👍👍
This is great.. I’ve done a lot of famous graves in America 🇺🇸 but I’m definitely interested in visiting more on your side of the pond :) Thanks for sharing..
I never would have thought graves would have been so interesting! The stories about the people are fascinating. Just watched the Richard burton one, so interesting!
What a very talented man he was. loved his silent movies. His wife was a strong woman not to give in to the ransom but what an awful ordeal to go through. I wonder had she Irish decent with her name? Rip una and Charlie 🌹❤️
Oona O'Neil, the daughter of the great playwright Eugene O'Neil, had lost her heiritence when she married Charlie Chaplin at the age of 18 years and he was in his 50s at the time. They had remained together for so long along with having 8 wonderful children and along with great memories to share within the family and their grandchildren. I wondered why they had to exile him and his family to somewhere when they had not found a place to live in at the time. They already had been residing somewhere in California?
great vlog LT, i came to this after watching james mason video.I think the uk should of had a yearly chaplin day as he was far and away best multi talented fil maker / actor the world has had .Your only the other side of mountain to where steve mqueen bike jump was filmed and a lot of great escape, and the eagles nest and berghoff.Your going alot of places ive visited or want to go, if your ever going to butte (knievel)let me no ill tag along im in liverpool.

Charles Chaplin was godlike in my eyes. He created a film, Limelight, which restored my will to live following two suicide attempts. Like Claire Bloom’s character in Limelight, I have issues with mobility, and later became a carer, as she did, so I relate to the film closely. Also like Sir Charles, I have had strokes, but am doing much better with CBD and Omega 3 tablets. May Charles and Oona rest in peace.
I understand that the people who did it wanted to Ransome Chaplin in order to get money out of his widow as they needed the money. the police eventually recovered him and the people who did it got sent to Prison
The other weirdest grave robbery was Mary from the Mayerling murder/suicide ( or was it really suicide ? ). Her remains and her gown, garments was stolen in December 1992, the robber was a Mayerling obsessed man from Vienna, I only knew this recently from a documentary on Mayerling. And of course that completely revolting case of that Italian doctor having stolen his lover's corpse in 1930s and having intercourse for 20 years , even taking it with him on his travels...just insain Tom.

Un lujo para sus vecinos tener alguien como él allí…
I'm surprised he didn't have his mom reinterned here. She's at Hollywood Forever in California.
How could somebody steal from a grave how horrible.
I understand that the people who did it wanted to Ransome Chaplin in order to get money out of his widow as they needed the money.

These subtitles need to be checked over. They are quite dreadful! Such a shame as the content is very good.

Nineteen rooms and 30 staff members?, but that house doesn’t look that big to need 30 people to work in there.
Sad rip Never
I wasn’t born yet
I'm surprised to see crosses on his grave as he was Jewish
I think he was raised an Anglican but was agnostic
