I met Roger Moore in person, spoke with him for about 15 minutes, and kept an autographed photograph.
For me he has been the best James Bond; my favorite movie is The Spy Who Loved Me.
Thanks for watching
Celebrating what would have been your 96th Birthday, Seeing you in The Spy Who Loved Me in the cinema as an introvert eight year old kid was an awakening. You were my Bond growing up, my role model also, I adopted your way at looking at life, dress well, have a good sense of humour and never take what life throws at you too seriously. God bless you Sir Roger and Happy Birthday to you.
Thanks for watching
Excatly as I react to my first Bond film The spy who loved me.
@@thomasbock4485 Blew my mind... THEN as a follow up Moonraker, Hooked on Bond ever since
@peterfranks6243 LOL I see nobody yet has spotted the name...Peter Franks. Didn't he kill James Bond? LOL
@@teecee1567 with a fire extinguisher 🤣
What an icon and what a life lived, very suited that he picked a spot in such a classy and glamorous location. A quintessential childhood hero of mine.
Thanks for watching
Rest In Peace Sir. Roger Moore. Love your movies and TV shows. Hello from Buckeye, Arizona, USA.
Thank for watching
My fav Audrey Hepburn film was The Nuns Story, I've watched all of The Saint and currently on the re-runs, The Persuaders as Brett Sinclair with Tony Curtis, plus all his Bond movies...a very talented actress and actor who we have sadly lost but will never be forgotten. RIP both Audrey & Roger.
Thanks for watching and leaving comments
@@LTJones you're welcome
RIP Roger Moore...semasa kecil saya selalu melihatnya di film TV The Saint...saya sangat menyukainya...idolaku dan selalu kunanti film2nya James Bond....terima kasih LT Jones...👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Thank you 🙂
Thank you very much for showing us the final resting places of these famous actors - really excellent video.
Thank you very much John
🙏 Thank You So Much to LT Jones for the Memorable Visits to the Final Resting Places of our beloved Stars & Celebrities! 🙏🌷🌿🌎💜🕊
Thank you very much
That was his own personal car, because The Saint was on low budget, he used his own car in that series. The car later turned up and a man from US purchased the car, and has it running now and there is a burn on the dash from one of Sir Roger’s cigars. Which apparently he tells everyone that takes an interest in the car. I believe you can even search for the interview and this car on You Tube.
Thank you
Lovely cemetery. My mum was a fan of the Saint back in the 60s and a big fan of Rodger Moore, sadly she passed away on the same day as Rodger the 23 may 2017 RIP.
Thank you Steven
The Volvo P1800 was used in the Saint, Sir Roger actually owned one of the two cars used in the series.
A great car for a great man.
Thanks Jon
I wonder who has it now.
@@elizabethbogle3533 One of the Volvo’s used in The Saint (Sir Roger’s personal car too) is now on display in Volvo’s Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In total between 1962 and 1969 - when The Saint’s series came to an end - a total of 4 cars (all Volvo’s) were used. One of the Volvo’s was Sir Roger Moore’s personal car which he later sold to Martin Benson.
I think it was presented in one of Jay Lenos Garage Episode. Rogers Volvo has a Burnt Spot near the Ashtray of the Dashboard, from one of his Cigars he used to smoke.
Thanks for this video showing my two favourite actors resting places. The car on Sir Roger’s grave was a model of the one he used in The Saint, a not to be missed TV series in my later teenage years. I’ve been to Monaco a few times, last was in 2015, before he died, and won’t be heading in that direction again, so at least I know whereabouts in the cemetery he lies, thanks to you. Loved all his films (was my favourite Bond) and Audrey’s too. Two great people with a love for humanity. I didn’t realise Lewis Gilbert was in Monaco too, not far from Sir Roger. Just imagine all the chat and jokes those two are telling each other!
Thank you for watching and leaving comments
The tv shows the Saint was not my favourite TV show any thing else with Roger Moore is my favourite
I remember back in the early seventies being told Roger Moore had purchased a flat in Glyn Garth, nobody believed it at the time.
Thank for watching NWC.
Wow it really is a beautiful cemetery with all the elaborate monuments. Rip Sir Roger Moore my favourite bond actor and Sean connery. He is for sure a saint in heaven. Thanks LT for showing us his grave

Brilliant video as always .....came across as a lovely man and a superb actor....just love your locations......always so professionally filmed
Thank you very much
Rest in Heavenly Peace, Roger! Loved and missed!❤🙏
Thanks for watching
Wow! This made me very emotional. I was raised on The Saint and Bond movies but Roger Moore was the reason I admired the shows and movies so much. I have been watching The Saint series from the start and had a wish to visit his grave to say thanks for the influence I felt by Roger Moore. You have made my day as you did too with the video on Richard Burton. I thank you sir for bringing these men "back to life".....they are legends!
Thank you very much. Your comments got me thinking about making a filming locations video on one of the Saint episodes that were filmed in Wales. All the best, LT
I was a massive fan of Sir Roger and his signed photo hangs on our hallway wall today. (Same pic you showed with his PPK, from 'The Spy Who Loved Me'- his best Bond film). My wife was a huge Audrey fan and again we have a lovely picture of her hanging on the wall. Audreys final resting place seems more impressive than Roger's though, even though we love Monaco. I suppose that is due to it just being his ashes...Lewis Gilbert's monument seemed nicer though. I feel 007 deserved better. Great vid though, very respectful. 👍🏻
Thank you very much
It was his car in the Saint, a white 1962 Volvo P1800 with number plate ST1 Very good video! Thank you! RIP Sir Roger
Thank you
My favorite James Bond ....DR. No flim in my country Jamaica 🇯🇲
RIP Roger moore

Best bond never be replaced🎉🎉
I agree 👍
I have seen a lot of cemeteries... this one is simply astonishing. Its jawdropping!
AUDREY HEPBURN ...SHE HAD IT ALL ...BEAUTY,TALENT (I ACTUALLY DO HAVE 2 FILMS OF HER)...AND SIR ROGER MOORE,AS AN ENGLISH MAN 💖🇬🇬 (AND BEING ENGLISH MYSELF) HE WAS A GIANT OF AN ACTOR HIMSELF ( AND I DO OWE SOME OF HIS FILMS,TOO ....MAINLY THE BOND ONES💖💖💖💖💖🇬🇬🇬🇬🇬🇬👍🐐💥🔥🙏😭😭😭👑
Thanks for watching
@@LTJones NO WORRIES,MATE👍😁
In the early noughties there was a James Bond exhibition at the London Science Museum. I was there with a friend. I suddenly noticed this old guy walking around as any another visitor would. I'd recently seen a Bond documentary on telly so recognised him. It was Lewis Gilbert. I spoke to him and he signed my enterence ticket.
That's awsome, you did well to recognise him
I was surprised to find Sir Roger Moore's grave very plain. There is also the grave of Lewis Gilbert nearby, and I hope to visit there one day, singing "Nobody does it better". Your video is informative. Thank you.
Thank you very much
Rest in peace roger.
I remember watching you in the 1960s the saint and then in 1970s the persuaders with tony Curtis.
You will be remembered for year's ahead to come especially with the 2 tv series and all the bond movie's.

Ismét autót cserêltem a napokban a sírhelyen. Most végre megint egy hófehér 1800-as parkol ott.
Waw that's quite a drive 🚗 thanks for watching

Thank you Paul, this was one of my favourites to make
i sadly never got to meet Sir Roger Moore, i attended a James Bond event at the Beaulie Car museum many years ago. I did however get to meet the greatest Bond henchman of them all, Jaws, played by the late great Richard Keil. i have a photo somewhere of hs hands around my neck.
Sir Roger Moore was in my humble opinion, the greatest James Bond ever. oh i forgot to mention, that is the car from the saint. also could ou maybe do a video on Richard Keil's grave.
I loved the Jaws character! Thank you very much
Volvo P1800🇸🇪...👌 Thanks for your videos!😀

Thank you Julian 🇭🇷
I had the chance of attending "an evening with Sir Roger Moore" at my local theatre just a few years before he died...and didn't attend. I wish now, I had.
Thanks for watching
@@LTJonesMy pleasure. Roger was first of all a gentleman and of course a humanitarian. I recall an interview with Desmond Llewellyn, who of course, played Q in the Bond Films. He was asked who his favourite Bond was...and typical of the man, not wanting to name anyone in particular, but he did say that Roger was a true gentleman. That speaks volumes.
Hi LT .... you go to some of the most beautiful places in the world. My mother says Roger Moore was a handsome guy and i agree with her! P.S. Audrey Hepburn and my mother born in the same year 1929 she is still here with me.
Thank you. All the best to you both
RIP Sir Roger Moore

I can’t help commenting late about the Volvo P1800. That was the car Sir Roger Moore used in The Saint as Simon Templar - 1962 to 1969.
Thank you

And yes, that model Volvo car was his car in The Saint.

Dont forget he was married to South Wales singer Dorothy Squires and even helped to pay for her medical fees in later life despite the litigation oreceding their final divorce
Thank you, i'll try and visist Dorothy Squires grave someday
Rodger Moore played the best part on 007, behind Pierce...

Hello Mr.Jones, I mt Roger in Birmingham in the early 70,s, He was in Boots Chemset promoting Bruit After Shave, I asked him if the next time he came to Birmingham would he bring Tony Curtis with him as they were making a series together at that time , and he looked at one of the salesgirls that was standing beside him and said, She is Asking for Tony Curtis, He is at least 10 yrs older than I ! I said, Tony Curtis was a World Famous Star when You were contemplating wearing Jumpers ! So I said to my Friend, Lets Go. And we left ! I hated the way he treated Dorothy Squires, She got him his big start and he repaid her by leaving her, She got her biggest hit Say It With Flowers as a result it. R.I.P. to them both. Audrey Hepburn's grave is kept Beautiful. But very sad to see her all alone there, R.I.P. I hear from your accent you are from Nt Wales, My Dad was born in Nt Wales, in Dolgethly , My Mam was born in Aberystwyth. I was born in Dublin . I have seen both graves before on here, It very well could have been your video, Thank you for your video. Best of Good Luck to you
Thanks for sharing
Superb 😊
Thank you Rob
Why did señor Roger Moore chose the cemetery in Monaca in France when there is a cemetery in Chermignon d'en-Haut, Crans-Montana in Switzerland where he lived in his later years?
Really interesting. not my favourite bond charactor but. talented non the less. lovely guy, put something back with all the charity he was involved with.
Thank you very much
Lovely video thank u so much @LT
Thank you very much
In a Jay Leno show, I saw the man who had bought the original Volvo P1800 from "The Saint" and also Roger Mores personal car during the filming. And the mans very patient wife (You should have seen her face!), allowing him to take a huge loan in their house for the buy! 😄
Thanks for sharing that and thanks for watching the video
@@LTJones By the way, I think he had a Danish wife to the end?
Originally the Volvo model became built by Jensen Cars in England, and they, as the only one, offered a car for the use in the Series, as other English Brands had turned down to deliver a car 😁! Finn
The Film Company had asked several English Factories to provide a car for the series, and only the English Jensen Cars responded, so that is why The Saint used a Volvo P1800
Much too good to die. May Sir Roger rest in peace.
