GFN and Xbox Pass allows me to play Cyberpunk on a netbook. Think about that people. 2022 AAA games running in HD on a freaking several years old junk netbook!
Insane, right?!? I have an old Chromebook from 2014, and I'm playing The Division 2, Cyberpunk, God of War, etc., at their highest settings, and I can't believe how smooth they play! This is truly innovative. These publishers need to wake up. Seriously.
@@ArielDiaz-ec6zi Or what I really liked. Beeing able to play cooperative games wherever you are. Sadly stadia was the plattform with the biggest amount of cooperative games.
Beeing able to play Just Dance spontanously on a party with your mobile phones was extremely funny. Might not suit everybody but somehow I got many friends which liked it a lot. Now I had to find out, that there isnt even a PC version for Just Dance -.-
So I'd have to get a nintendo switch, which I absolutely dont like.....

I find the input lag on xcloud to be insanely bad. Only tried a few games on GFN and it's miles ahead

People still act like I'm lying when I tell them how amazing cloud gaming can be, and even when I show them results in person, their faces curl with borderline disgust at the mere concept of it. They'll sob about the "latency", even when there is none. I told a friend of mine I had over that I just upgrade my PC to a 4080 and he wanted to see how well it ran, so I loaded up Cyberpunk 2077 completely maxed out to flawless performance and he was blown away. This was also a friend that had made fun of Stadia in the past to me. I got him to sit down to play a bit and he was raving about how responsive it was. I then told him the game was being streamed via a cloud gaming service. He then started bringing up made-up concerns such as "Oh yeah, I can see it's pretty blurry here and there.", that it was "stuttering", and the controls "didn't really feel good". All after praising it when he thought it was local hardware.
I think that a lot of people will just dunk all over cloud gaming for years to come, and possibly always. Stadia was years ahead of the curve, and GFN quickly caught up and exceeded on the higher tier. People also mocked the PSP-Go way back when for being a download-only PSP, only to now remember it fondly as a super good handheld. The same people who said digital would "never catch on", where it's now the norm and makes up the majority of game sales worldwide.
Once most places in the biggest countries have access to unlimited high speed internet plans, I really think cloud gaming will take off and shape the future of gaming.
It truly is amazing. I dont need it, just bought a new (4070Ti) rig. But I decided to try it out recently. Premium 4080 level, and WOW. Had I known it was this good, I'm not sure I wouldve bothered with a new PC. Its that good.
but to play that 4k 120 or more fps? I have to have 4k monitor 125hz right? it's not like i get 4k resolution having a 2k monitor right?
@@Voltomess correct. To see 4k, your need a capable display.
My gaming pc just broke and I’m not even going to fix it. Just sub to GeForce now. For me to get gfn effects I’d need to spend 4000 dollars on a pc. No thanks

I was thinking, with the 240 fps and reflex tech catering to competitive gamers, GFN also comes in with a great benefit, and that is no one should be able to cheat in the cloud. I am so PUMPED that you (SCG!) have decided to cover what I went to after Stadia died R.I.P. long live Stadia! As soon as Google paid me back for all my controllers and games I paid for, I "reinvested" all that money into GeForce Now and a Steam Deck. I never missed a beat and love both GFN and the Steam Deck. I wish Stadia had succeeded because it was so dang good--it just needed more games and more people to realize how amazing it was. Oh well. Keep it up, Sunny! Your thoughts add value to our gaming community, no matter the platform.

It’s funny cuz I’m thinking about getting a 3070ti laptop but I might just wait a bit to see if the other games I play are gona be supported within the next year or so.hopefully AAA publishers start flooding the service soon once they see how amazing this performs and how happy people are with it
@@user-kx3pj7ch5c that’s fine but for folks who don’t have as much time to maintain a desktop rig like me(I used to have one I built myself so I know how much time and effort it takes to take good care of it) laptops are convenient and great for travel.if you want a laptop with the best performance it’s best to look for the ones with the highest power threshold and limit with huge brick chargers.I really don’t have the time I used to when I was single in college to upgrade and maintains rig.once I retire I’ll probably go back to a desktop but for now laptop is the way to go for me
Gfn is incredible it allows me to play anywhere in my house on my steam deck and play games it can't run natively and I don't have the 4k tier but my oled has gfn built in
Maybe one day I'll try it but I'll wait till there's a game that makes me think ill try gfn 4k for a month other than that I'll stick to the 8.99 tier playing on my steam deck
Like for many here, GFN is my new Stadia, and I must say I am beyond super impressed with GFN! But the Ultimate tier doesn't work for me, as I am not having a 4k screen, ray tracing so far is only available on very few games, and I don't play those anyway. That said, GFN Priority delivers 100% solid 1080p performance on all games that I play, will stay on it. Paid £26.99 for 6 months Premium membership, bargain! :))
That's one thing I was sceptical about , if you have a decent 1080 /1080p screen it doesn't worth upgrading to the last tier, if only you own a 4k one. Your monitor simply won't output what you pay for 😂 also the internet connection play a crucial role
@@alin4253 Yep, resolution wise, yes, but on the other hand you have a more powerful graphix card that pulls much better FPS, yet it only guarantees you solid 60fps output on your screen, but on ultimate graphic settings almost everywhere :)
My UW is killing it with this at 1440p 144hz and HDR sunny!!!
I just singed up for ultimate tire and I'm blown away. I tired xcloud.. it was "fine", a bit blury.. series S level graphics.
I signed up for GeForce now (50% off summer sale) ultimate and wow! The rtx, much lower (better than xcloud) lag and better resolution.
Might have to do with living in the silicon valley but so far so good.

I still miss Stadia and wish other platforms could fill in the void with matching simplicity to boot up games, low latency, and high quality streaming. The closest I have gotten to this is a nice gaming PC with Moonlight/Sunshine at max bitrate and using Steam Big Picture Mode for the more console-like experience. The biggest downside to GFN is definitely the need to re-login all the time for many of the Game Stores / services.

Has anyone else tried using their Stadia controller via Bluetooth to play on GFN? I've tried it and it works, but I have to say I'm noticing a significant difference in latency compared to the X-Box controller I regularly use on the service 😐 FWIW I'm playing on a Chromecast with Google TV
I use the Nvidia Shield TV Pro with GeForce Now more than anything else lately.. it's way better than my PS5. I've never really wanted to spend a ton of money on a PC rig so this has been an absolute game changer. I do recommend using a wired connection, though.
I tried it but the resolution compared to the ps5 just didn’t look good imo. Is my connection just bad or do u have the same problem? Not talking about lag just the resolution itself

I've had geforcenow since it was in beta "im now a founder "and ditched my gaming pc electric saving are huge I used the nvidia shield tv pro with keyboard and mouse , battlefield 2024 has been down for 2 weeks tho ,who knows what other games are down at the moment?

Ok, here is the thing.....between all my accounts on GOG, EPIC, UBISOFT, EA and Steam, I own 300 games but GeForce Now only can play 43 of those and not the ones I am most interested in..........haha.
I’ve been playing steam games on my Xbox series s with this cloud service. It works great!
I was gonna buy a 4080 primarily for the CP2077 overdrive mode coming soon, but have now discovered the GeForce Now subscription service. It sounds too good to be true. I would think, streaming a game like this would also save you money, as I won't be powering the game from a big GPU and power box in my PC, correct?
Would you recommend GeForce Now ultimate subscription for CP2077?
I know it's a bit late since your comment is old but it's totally worthy. I have a MacBook Pro and I can play Cyberpunk 2077 with max ray tracing, DLSS quality & a few settings in Psycho and the result is mindblowing. It really looks as if you had a 4080. But I also have a very good internet connexion, you need a huge amount of bandwidth to avoid lags. The app won't load the game anyway if your bandwidth is too low or your internet connexion is unstable. It's totally worth it because the monthly fee is $30 CAD which is pretty low considering the price of next gen graphics cards.
Same thing for me when I first signed up for the ultimate tier. Suddenly every game had the most horrible performance and visuals. For pretty much every game. Also have 1gig download speed. I was really worried, but the next day it resolved itself.

No one talking about it but im excited to play this on a surface pro/go tablet and ar glasses. Imagine a 200 oled and beefy gaming computer you can put in your pocket.
The question is, what is going to happen when they have to upgrade from a 4080 to a 7080, and a 9080, it is AMAZING tech but they're going to need a LOT of income to keep up their hardware..

I can honestly say this bro, from watching u steam since the start of stadia I been on the same page with u but I recently just used the highest tier it's stunning on Warframe and death stranding but from playing warzone on boosteriod then just now switching to Shadow PC...even with the lowest tier I can play warzone ultra no problem and everything rather it's come a long way and they have me sold because GeForce kills u locked down to certain games this is a whole PC. But it's a great way to play warzone in the cloud at the moment
How are you playing God of war on GForce? I don’t see it as an available game to play.

For me the problem is that I get 40+ ping on the Ultimate tier so I can't play competitive games, but on the Priority tier I would get less than 20 ping. I use ethernet and have 1Gb/s. Anyone know why this is happening?
it depends on the hardware you're using. my chrome book runs GFN like garbage. But when i use my galaxy s10 plus, via a hdmi adapter to my monitor, it works flawless! and thats over wireless.

One good thing is you have controll about the bitrate, so you can work around bad internet. But its not like Stadia which was even playable on 4G Mobile data.....
For gfn its not worth trying out anithing besides a good Wifi or 5G

i would say, more games are more important than dlss.
Doesnt help you when many games support dlss but are not supported by gfn.
Sadly most features are behind a hardware paywall.
I have no idea if av1 works, Reflex is incompatible and resolutions seem not to work customwise [edit. it does, maybe its sometimes a bit buggy, but it worked many times now, really cool).....
Its just so annoying that GFN does more trys to force you into buying Nvidia Hardware :/
