Great to know the Boombox 3 finally reached you bro! I always love JBL speakers! Now I'm waiting for your full review video on it, and maybe some comparison contents between it with other brands, especially the much cheaper Tribit Stormbox Plus, because I think this one is the main challenger to the Boombox 3. 😁
For sure a killer speaker, sold my partybox 100 to get it, way more convenient, also buying a case for the boombox, 24 hours of play time, LOUD, CLEAR, DEEP sound that replaces home stereo systems for me...

I have a bluetooth jawbone speaker which battery died but still useable when plugged in and join with the cable to my i phone. Do you think bb3 will still work that way after 5 years?
Please compare with the Tribit Stormbox Blast, Soundcore Motion Plus and other boom boxes if you have them.

i bought mine from sweet water sadly it comes december but i don’t mine i do have my jbl boombox 1 but never upgraded to the jbl boombox 2 i watched your video about it still sad that they didn’t add outdoor mode back to the 3 but i don’t mind cuz your making this speaker sound insane and my jbl boombox 1 is already bassy so you saying that this 3rd generation jbl boombox is like wayyy better?! yeaaaaaa can’t wait for mine to come in i bought it in the color camo cuz i’ve never had a camo jbl color so i chose it.
How would you say this compares to the W-King T9-2? Soo far it's the best wking I've owned especially for the price.

You should start putting a glass of water next to the speaker and record the amount of vibration it produces when playing. Add a visual aspect to the sound

@@NewStuffTV1 Just going by what you said in the video. The mic doesn't do the speaker bass justice. But we can definitely see water bouncing around. That's why bassheads do hair and shirt tricks.

Well, I was a headphone guy, nsver wanted anything like that from jbl, things changed,my fiance wants some music in apartmsnt. Ordered it today, I said it would be my christmas present for mysel, she said i deserve ir 😅 as far from reviews it should be totallh beast ❤️

You need to foresee the usability of each, space, convenience etc…then make your own decision. I highly doubt you will be disappointed with either one. Both are great speakers but with the 110 you will have more overall sonic power….and possibly less of a smile from your neighbours.
My first real HiFi Speakers in 1977 were JBL L15 bookshelf speakers (sadly LONG gone). They've always had something especially in the area of PA amplification. Not the refinement of B&W etc but solidity & drive. Perhaps what you're getting here is quality drivers with a good case & crossover. That's what you really pay for.

@@plunder1956 that’s a shame. I got mine from goodwill ten years ago for $5 in perfect condition. And they compete nicely with modern bookshelf speakers.
I still have a pair of JBL L65 and they're so nice. Will never part ways with them.

With newr speakers the static sound is the new speakers aren't broke in good yet it goes away with just playing it.
Fortunately it went away after the 1st update I got a day or so after purchasing.

Source on the Hyperboom 2? I did some research but couldn't find anything except that they're releasing a white version. is that what you're referring to?
There is a 2-way amplifier connected to the midler trebles, one manages the subwoofer and the other is the stomach and treble, so it is no different from the boombox 2.
Youre pretty much spot on in your commemt. If ya wanna actually hear and see the differences in sound id go check Alan Ross Reviews. He just did this comparison yesterday or day before. I wasn't a fan of the boombox 2 even on sale at 349 when I got it but if you are a huge fan of these soeakers his review is what you're lookin for.

8 months later lol but the bb3 is designed for outside with higher tuned treble to sound louder outside. UE boom prolly more for inside but both are great either way.

These current range of boomboxes are still a compromise.
What features do JBL want to include on a boombox or do they want to save features for their Partybox range.
To me today's boomboxes are too small. Back in the 80s you had the Sharp gf777 which weighed at 12 kg compared to the 6.7kg JBL boombox 3. The Sharp sold over 3 million units so obviously the demand was out there for bigger, more powerful units. All we needed was a shoulder strap and we were fine.
Boomboxes in the 80s were also a fashion accessory.
The party boxes are taken from venue to venue (perhaps in a vehicle ) but I would not drag one of those out on the street

By the way, the boombox 3 just dropped a software apdate in the app, not sure what is improved but something got better for sure XD
Thank you!!! I just checked the app and the update was there. It sounds fantastic! Also that popping and static went away! I was thinking I would need to return it because of a physical defect, but the update seems to have fixed it. 👊🏾
@@NewStuffTV1 yea it sounds a little better in my opinion, the static noise sometimes happen but its common with bluetooth speakers, its a part of bluetooth signals

Please repeat the Sony Partyconnect vs Souncore partycast vs JBL partyboost in the same way, but you capt the Boombox 3, as i said in previous.
I will definitely do the JBL Party Boost, but as for Sony’s speakers... Nah. This new round of speakers they've put out just don't hold up to the others in sound.

The Boobox 3. I like the brightness of the highs on this on over the BoomBox 2. I would choose the HyperBoom over the BoomBox 2.
Should I just save money and time and buy the Boombox 2 in used condition instead of waiting to buy Boombox 3 at full price brand new?
The 2 just lacks in the mids but not by much. Both sound good. If anything the boombox 2 is warmer. With the 2 you won't really be missing much in terms of anything like connectivity because it still uses Bluetooth 5 and has partyboost.

@@aedan2003 yes and also resale of them brand new sealed box sometimes are on sale for a good deal. And I just feel like getting a bb2 on sale I save money and not loosing enough audio quality that it would be more worth it to spend full price on bb3.

Almost 4 years ago I purchased 1 Boombox, 4 JBL Portables, and 2 JBL Extreme speakers. As of today only one of the Extreme speakers work. After 3 years the batteries stopped charging. Even when you plugged them in they refused to work. For me it's JBL NEVER AGAIN!

The BMS in these BT speakers isn't as battery-lifetime friendly as that used in EVs. When I buy anything with a built-in rechargeable battery, I consider the expected useful lifetime of it to be about 3 years, and anything after that is a bonus. Which is probably why I didn't spend the $$$ on the JBL stuff and went with a Mifa Wildbox instead :-)

Been looking at reviews for this bad boy and seems like they all the same.
JBL has done some sketchy stuff these past few years. And this Boombox seems to just fail for all the hype around it, hopefully a software update fixes some bugs but tbh the next gen needs to have 30+ battery life, indoor/outdoor, and bring the bass back im cool with it getting a bit bigger for that.
Here's the truth on jbl. All their speakers suck besides their 110 partyboxes and up. The 100 is also good . But like this here when ya figure the price and sound you get well who the hell would pay that when they can go and buy the tribit stormvox blast for less than half the cost of this and get almost identical bass but better mids and highs. For real the blast is that good and the tribit app for tuning it is way better than the lil 3 band jbl eq . I'd love to see ya review the blast. My home set up is 2 of the 110 partyboxes on jbl pro stands. But after owning and returning the extreme 3 and boombox 2 those speakers suck even on sale at 249 for e3 and 349 for bb2 when I got them then owned ton of wking speakers all the soundcores amd the boom plus I gotta add this. At 80 percent or more volume that thing would distort. I sent that back and ima soundcore fanboy lol. The tribit stormbox blast is exactly what I'd hoped the boom plus woulda been. But never ever would I buy a flip or charge or boombox speaker when tribit and wking make as good or better sounding speakers at half or less the price. Again if you buy this instead of the blast you're just buying the name
Had all those, Tribit, SoundCore, JBL (still have my PartyBox300), but for me my Aiwa Exos-9 has the best sound quality out of them all, too bad they don’t make them any more and are going for ridiculous prices on eBay…

The JBL Boombox 3 is a disappointment!
Everything is not JUST about the most bass possible!!
LOTS of bass does not equal High sound quality!
The speaker is a 2.1 way or 3 way as JBL writes.
It has 2 tweeters, 2 midranges and a bass speaker.
The treble covers almost the entire midrange!
JBL uses built-in DSP. Digital sound processing and JBL can really adjust for good sound quality if they want to. But instead, the adjustment is often based on sales! if the speaker had been adjusted for best sound quality or included 10 bond adjust bar EQ. then the sale of new editions will not be so easy.
Incredibly disappointing of JBL to always do it this way.
Are there any bluetooth speakers with good sound? Yes, but then it's not as portable anymore.

Is it expensive! NO. NO.
