The problem with BeamNG.drive on Geforce Now (check description)

- I used to play this game on this platform until recently. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I used to receive this crash report here and there. NOW, IT HAPPENS EVERYTIME just as I open the game and move around a little.
As people report on the game forums and GFN forums, it seems like the game it's considered to be a virus so the antivirus installed on the nvidia gfn servers are killing the UI process or something. Devs, please do something about this. I know they said they don't plan to add compatibility for cloud gaming services or emulators or such but... Oh and also, continue development on the linux version:)

Purely Nvidia's fault. Their antivirus blocks some elements from the game's UI, and I'm pretty sure all they really have to do is to make some exceptions in their antivirus in order to bypass the UI process altogether. But hey, the game at least works for two minutes, so in their eyes it really is not an issue.
Yeah it kicks me out 😭 idk man. Only "sometimes" i get to play it for one hour and yeah the interior speedometer and touch screen in completely white

I contacted NVIDIA, they told me that the problem is well known by their services and that they are working on it. But I think they don't care.
@@octodevyt They fixed it once, BeamNG updated, it broke even worse, they never fixed it, so yeah, never getting fixed.

I’ve always wanted to play beamng but never had a pc and was kinda disappointed when I found out how it always crashes. Luckily Teardown works perfectly
It has been a problem for versionssss in GFN, it is awful... Chatted w/ GFN support, they didn’t help in any way!

I think this issue got fixed with the new update.
and also why does it have to be so random i can barely play and its my favorite game and there's no chance of playing it anywhere else with a 11 year old MacBook

it happens every day and even the ui doesn't turn on anymore, I press launch beamng and it immediately falls apart, world of tanks exactly the same, ge force now unfortunately it's probably over because every game except the shitty fortnite for children is considered a virus,

Ik dude so f annoying its because of AntiVirus That gfn has if there was a option to disable it : it would fix this disaster.
Yeah i agree but the downside of that would be lots of the gfn computers would get viruses and stuff just to fix one game

I think it happens bc when you spawn traffic AI bc when I played Beamng on GeForce now on my phone I turned on the “start free roam with AI traffic” and it started crashing when I started moving a little bit but then I turned off that option and now I can play peacefully Beamng so maybe is that

So right now, GeForce Now is doing the same kind of thing.
And it's worse.
When the game is being launched it crashes in a matter of seconds, wether you start in Vulkan or DirectX mode.
And I mean EVERYTIME.
It's completely unplayable.

Settings > Graphics > Set To Low
I didn't have this problem when I tried this. Probably reduces the probability of appearing the error.
Graphics don't help with anything...

If you set to lowest you can load the ai and then set the graphics to how you want after it loads everything
Who wants to be stuck playing on low graphics tho?

This is really sad to me because Steam won’t take my refund request so I am stuck with a $20 game that is broken.
Better not refund it, keep the game for when you get a better PC :D

same thing happens to me but it worked fine for about week or so then it started to happen every time including other games as well. Also i have not seen anyone else have this same issue except you

I have the same issue. I can't even load into the game now.
in the mean time i bought car mechanic simulator 21 to play while the issue is (hopefully) getting resolved
Notice how your odometer is completely white, thats the reason for the constant crashing after 0.28.2 came out this is a problem on beamng's side they should probably fix it in 0.29
Its very annoying, Im tryna play it on a beta version rn to fix it
I'm not sure if they will want to fix this problem soon because, as you may already know, the developers said in some forum post they don't support emulators and compatibility layers (geforce now seems to be one :D).
Also yeah, I noticed white textures in other vehicles as well, mostly the modern cars with digital gauges. Every gameplay session which included this issue ended fast with a crash report.

Welp uhh... Geforce Now never does save mods for any game I believe. You are kinda forced to play the vanilla game or something.
@@OuterUniverse Gmod and a bunch of other games allow you to play with mods with the steam workshop and the mods save for me.
