The main goals in this video are to get diamond armor, get to the nether, and get to the end in superflat with no naturally generating structures. QUESTIONS :
Why didn't you take the jungle sapling? I needed apples for villagers
How did you get smooth stone? The nether, lava, cobble gen, smelt.
Why is there a cobblestone generator in the replay shot before the nether? When i went back to get a shot, i used one nearby the original filming time. I accidently used one from after the nether since the base looked so similar but the generator was built post the nether even thought he replay shot was used before i went.

He’s testing to see if it’s true or not, and it happens to not be true; I don’t think it matters that much that he has to use a different version it was obvious from the start you couldn’t “beat” a flat world because of its lack of resources; it’s just more curiosity about how he was able to bypass beating Minecraft in a flat world regardless if you interpreted it as “beating” it or not

@BucketGeek I know, that's exactly the problem, it is impossible. That's why they have to cheat to do it. Then they clickbait by saying they did it and get millions of views. Don't get me wrong, all the things before getting to the nether were really interesting and really well done. But then, he cheated by basically disabling superflat. If the video only contained the part before the nether and had a title like "The limits of pure superflat" or something, then it would be a great video. But now, because he cheated and clickbaited, I can't do anything other than giving it a dislike.
What I learned in this video is nothing is impossible. Great determination and suffering give hopes! You deserved more subs man🎉❤

@@alexanderr6688 There is another old version of Minecraft that straight up gives you end portal frames in your inventory for free but you have to die to get them which wouldn't work with hardcore.
The save was made in super flat and ended in super flat and the only code changed was to change versions. It technically stayed in super flat. Good point though

changing the version and being able to bring the end portal items and nether into a 1.19 sueprflat world would ahve requierd tons of testing, research, and knowledge of the previous versions of the game.

Here is a way to get lava on superflat: Step 1. Do a raid. Step 2. Get hero of the village. Step 3. Get blacksmith or armour smith villagers, I don't remember which one. Step 4: They have a chance of dropping a lava bucket to you as a hero of the village. Booyah

The wandering-trader farm he used in that video was tested and proven not to work.
The wandering-traders aren’t transported by the water streams after they reach an unloaded chunk, so the next wandering-trader will be stopped from leaving the chunk by the fact the game knows there’s an entity on the other side of the chunk barrier and so it won’t allow it to pass beyond the barrier. The only way to get that farm to work is with minecarts and rails because the game will place the cart at the end of the track once it enters the unloaded chunk.
Honestly, completely mind blown as to how you did this. All of the time, research, knowledge, and overall effort + dedication is crazy. You deserve all the support with this video here. Absolutely insaneeee.

You should try Glass Core. It's a super flat challenge with on bedrock and 63 glass. Spawn lakes, lava lakes, mineshafts, dungeons, and stronghold. You start by getting wood from mineshafts, then find a lake and lava lake. While difficult, you can make it to the Nether and to the End. It's a completely underrated challenge that I think you can do on hardcore.

Y'now, this actually seems legit, as Nether is often called Hell, combine it with the fact that there's no concept of time and normal orienteering (clock and compass are going crazy, i'm not even talking about map or sleeping in bed), it's pretty appropriate that you can do whatever witchcraft you want in there.

Even though reverse updating your world to make it no longer superflat feels like cheating, there isn't really any other way to beat the game in superflat.

I respect you for your commitment. I learned so much about minecraft and had no idea you can even get copper from drowned. This was the most insane video I have seen in a long time
This man is literally the freaking computer engineers that build calculators with redstone of knowing the ways through minecraft. I played 1.3.2 through 1.4.5 and then nearly never more but damn I feel 12 again learning and not caring about the world while watching this guy. Only now I just got home from college at midnight and watch this drinking a beer before eating the pasta I made yesterday for lunch. Damn this would be the best thing in the world if it actually took me back to that time lol
You actually can get lava from armor villagers via doing raids and afking near them. Mojang may have changed it but I saw it in a Itz_Subz video. Congratulations you earned a sub.

actually witches won’t throw all the other potions under specific conditions (e.g. poison if their target has low health) so you could increase the weakness potion odds to 100%
For those who think they are geniuses for calling out the jungle sapling; you need oak saplings for golden apples.

You're insane, dude. You deserve more than +800k subscribers. Aside the fact that you made it in a record time (for me), you made it entertained and all the edition was chef kiss.
Zombies have chance of making iron, making tools, shears (for wool, for a bed to beat the ender dragon) and Animals spawn too, making food. If mobs can drop obsidian (which i dont know as on typing this) you can go to the nether (which is not flat and has structures in flat mode) but therefore, you cannot get to the end. I have no idea how you beat it. Good lon.

@@doctahwahwee2237 To be fair, it's the *only* way to actually complete the challenge, and from what i can see in the video, he only ported over the items that were necessary (blaze rods, end frames, flint, and lava).
Imo it'd be kind of boring if the video just ended halfway through with "no, it's not possible" (which he did acknowledge). It's anticlimactic. I think it makes for a better video that he explained how it would be *technically* possible in the computer's perspective, but not literally possible in a person's perspective.
Granted I'm biased because I really like videos about game-breaking or exploiting glitches, so I enjoyed the video anyway

could you do without going to before super flat was added by using the April fools updates? you can get lava from a structure on the moon in the vote update, and you can get end frames from nether fortress chests in the one block at a time update.
