Its clever how Vanitas' saying, "Just like I've outgrown my need for you" has a double meaning. Hes saying Aqua serves no purpose anymore and he doesn't need Aqua to babysit him anymore. Since Ven is always being looked after by Aqua, Vanitas feels the same way since Ven and Vanitas are the same person with different personalities.

I personally believe that this is right after Ventus' encounter with him on Destiny Islands where he threatened to "Choke the life" out of Aqua and Terra. His twisted idea of "growing up for Ven" is Ven taking up arms to protect the others instead of running away from it. Now that he knows that Ventus WILL fight him, Aqua is just a straggler that needs to be taken care of so she doesn't interfere.

He did go all out in this fight. He flat out tried to kill her, lol. The only reason he didn't die and Aqua allowed herself to pass out was because she thought he was already dead (otherwise one more good fireball could've finished the job).
Isn't this, first Demyx fight and Xaldin the only Kingdom Hearts villain bosses you fight in Disney Worlds? They should have done that in KH3 instead of just appearing to make fun of Sora
Coming to Neverland over-leveled, clearing this fight in less than two minutes, and still seeing Aqua passing out from exhaustion at the end of the fight has got to be one of the most hilarious things in Birth by Sleep.
You can tell that defeating Vanita costs a lot. And more from the beginning, it must cost when you start fighting with it. But already in the middle of the fight against Vanita, it already costs a while. Vanita launches her attacks, and he's very fast too. The whole thing is to be very careful, that I don't attack aqua so often. Because if he attacks aqua a lot and doesn't give time to heal, Vanita wins right away.... ^_^ ...
I was expexting Tiger Lily. I know no minor characters appear, including Hook's crew, but I was expecting at least Tiger Lily considering her importance.
