Use a different kind of gas your using copper, (plumbing) use the MAP yellow bottle!! Gets a lot hotter. Best of luck to you!!

You needed to apply more heat, that's all . Never bang on alloy wheels. Aluminum is a brittle type metal so it needs to be heated hot enough so it maintains it's shape while bending and not crack. In other words it bends more when hotter than normal temp. So don't be afraid to go hotter. This was a fail for lack of heat on the wheel. A Bootlejack does the work if you have a piece of metal shaped with a few step pattern to angle the bottle jack. The bottle jack is not plug and play , barra-bing barra-boom ?, ..No!. You have to place it correctly or it can be very dangerous. To use less torque on the bottle jack and for it to work effectively you need to heat the wheel more. That's the kicker!

you need to heat aluminum to 400 degree C, not F. Google aluminum strength vs temperature.

Bro I have a question if you can tell me your opinion about this.... So is it worth to tix bent rims? Is it really possible? I really want to fix my car's 3 bent rims but my brother is telling me its better to buy brand new ones. If its possible to fix them and worth it, I will do it because new ones are crazy expensive and my Rims are like GTR rims.. unfortunately they are bent and cause steering wheel vibration and I can't drive car 100KM. Or even 80km/h will appreciate your feedback 🤝

If your rims are very expensive to replace and its a set of rims you'd want to run on your car, then yes its worth it to get them fixed. This is also considering if you can't find a good set used for a good price. Keep in mind that although the rims can be straightened and fixed, it will never be like new or like a rim that's never been bent. But you won't notice it once fixed. Also, keep in mind that the rims being fixed do risk cracking when being fixed. So its possible as the shop works on them, the rim just cracks. Now as for if it's worth it will depend on you. If the rims are your fav rims and are super rare or super expensive to replace, then yes absolutely worth it to fix them. But if you're not attached to those rims in anyway, its probably more worth it to buy a brand new set of nice wheels. Fixing a bent rim and then refinishing them can run you a few hundred each rim. So you can get decent rims for what you'd spend fixing them. But all goes back to how much you love those rims and how rare they are.

@@BudgetGears Thank You so much for taking time to respond. After reading your reply, I think its very clear its better to buy a new set of wheels regardless of the cost. I don't see a point fixing those old ones if they can never be like new or fully fixed. Thanks again for your response. I will look for new wheels from tomorrow

It wasn't a bad method (you said yourself many others have done it this way) it was your tools...use MAP gas (yellow tank) in your torch (It burns hotter) and use a bigger hammer. I feel like you were afraid of breaking the rim... Dont be scared to heat it up... bring it to about 180° or so and dont be afraid to really wack it! It wasn't a "love tap" that bent it, it wont be one that "unbends" it LOL basically don't be afraid of breaking the wheel... after all, it's unusable as it is, it will be unusable if you fail to straighten it and it will be unusable if you damage it, so what do you have to lose? If you're successful you'll save yourself some money, if you fail or it breaks you've only wasted a little time.... Hope that helps someone. 👍

😂😂😂you don’t know how to do it! You don’t need that jack and that temperature in your hand 😢 all you need just heat it up when it smokes jut use your hammer and it’s done
