      In India and Pakistan, for optimal vitamin D absorption, expose yourself to sunlight between 10 AM and 3 PM. Ensure to expose as much skin as possible-arms, legs, and face-without sunscreen or thick clothing. If your vitamin D3 levels are below 15, aim for daily sun exposure of 20-30 minutes. Once your levels reach 25 or above, you can reduce this to 2-3 days a week.

    Best source of vitamin d is sea fishes, even Supplementry dose of vitamin d is prepared from it, milk yogurt egg contains a very small amount of vitamin d.

    Mam , You Must take classes for M.B.B.S course in medical colleges.
    Because , they have no knowledge about foods to overcome the vitamin deficiencies, instead they only know the names of vitamin supplements. You teaching is EXCELLENT.

    Thank you for all your great videos! They helped me a lot in the last few days! I have two questions: I have an inflammed stomach and my stomach can`t stand legumes any more. So once I was vegan, but now I sometimes eat meat again. But I love animals so much and I don`t want to hurt them anymore! So I just began to eat eggs and drink milk again as in my culture (European/Austrian) normaly eaten, and in a Video you are saying, that one should eat what is normal in culture. So should I have to eat meat and eggs also, or have I give it up if I want to make Yoga and to heal my body? - I hope this sounds not disrespectfully because I am no Indian person. I love Indian Culture, it saved my life a few years ago. But I love my culture too. So what should I do and how should I eat?

    Vitamin D in soya is D2 cannot be absorbed. Most plant sources are vitamin D2. Unfortunately supplements are to be consumed for vegetarians.

      If you are deficient pls take vitamin D capsules with physicians advise..... It is very difficult to normalise with diet alone once you become deficient

    There is absolutely no vit D in milk, yogurt, buttermilk & soy milk & products unless they are FORTIFIED with vit D. Yes mushrooms exposed to sunlight will have Vit D but it’s not sufficient to meet your daily requirements.

      Namaste. Vitamin D is in very small amount in milk and milk products. There are some products which are fortified by vitamin D.

      nuts are good source of protein, but nutrients get diluted in milk extracted. and nuts arent good source of vitamin d. if one is not lactose intolerant, milk should be consumed - its wholesome and rich drink provided its pure

      it isnt, however, as the word - its makes us up - so being watchful - that energy and confidence is good. simultaneously, post makeup skin care will take care of skin. nothing wrong in going for it once a while whilst taking care

    I get my vitamin d throw the sun, winter time, i use boron,magnesium, calcium to transport vitamin d in the winter time. Milk is for cows, walnut milk is for human, also good for the brain. Hemp milk also good. We have to be careful what we put in our body, we have to help one another bc the FDA let everything go through, then say they recalling something.
