I have owned 3 Jeeps from Chrysler and all of them I have had to replace the door pins. Not a bad job, but who are they buying for hinge pins and bushings from? You made it look easy.👍👍
@@Spyke383 I managed to get in. I was able to push against the mechanism from the front with the corner of a spade drill bit and a few taps with my little hammer. Only cracked the plastic grille in a couple spots 👍
Thank you very short cut and dry video .
It’s perfectly done . It gives people the information they need quickly and efficiently .
Using a 7 mm deep socket for the upper hinge pins was brilliant !! Thanks brother !!
This is the best video on how to do this. Thanks!
Thanks I have been procrastinating on doing mine for years.
How is the craft Megan doing these for Jordan for months
Where did you find those new bushings? Thanks.

Anheuser-Busch Companies make a great product for helping with bushing repair. Thanks for the video.
What do you do if the door is stuck closed
Do you have any suggestions for getting a first gen hood open when the cable breaks under the hood?
@@dickjohnson1158 how about you keep your opinions to your fuckin self 🤫
Depending on where broke its really gonna suck to try to get open usually that case you gotta damage the easiest parts to replace to get apart

@@elkvis I would have liked to have seen a video on that. Can you disconnect the cable and show us how you did it................just kidding! :-)
@@siaripop7 I could barely see in there myself. I highly doubt that a camera would be able to see anything.
You skipped the most important part, getting the door hinge off of the frame
Seriously. I've been trying to take it off for 3 hours without taking the door completely off and cannot figure it out.
2nd to comment 1 day I'll be 1st ... how's your move coming?
Not bad
