TacxNeo Repair - Platine

Reparatur der Platine des Tacx-Neo2.
Transitor für 1 EUR war defekt. nach dem Austausch funktionert die Rolle einwandfrei!
Garmin wollte das nicht reparieren und hat ein Refurfished-Neo für 737 EUR angeboten: Unverschämtheit!
Der Transitor hat die Bezeichnung 023N10N5.

Thanks! not the fix for my problem (it was Resistor R124, replace with SS210) but this video surely helped!

My NEO is dead, but when connected there is a red LED blinking on the PCB. (Not the one that can be seen from the outside.) Did you find any drawings or documentation of the PCB?
How did you manage to disconnect the four thick cables connected to the capacitors?

Unfortunately, I don't have any plans.
The cables are only plugged in very tightly: pull firmly, then they come off.

@@NobbyT59 Thanks, I managed to pull them out without destroying anything!
However, the screws that attach the heatsink to the PCB have had their heads filled with lead. Did yours have that as well?
I'll try to test the transistor by reaching their legs from the backside of the PCB. Any idea of what readings I should have, or between which legs it should be 0?

Checked the transistors by measuring resistance between GDS, and they "seems" to be correct.

I have the same issue. Something inside blink red (can’t be seen from outside). Bluetooth off, no LED, fans at start up for 3 seconds then nothing. Did you repair yours? I have tested transistor and they all seem alright.

@@damFr I disassembled everything, tested the transistors and shorted the caps. Then reassembled the circuits just for testing and strangely enough it then worked…

Do you have a video showing how you took that black face off? I'm having trouble taking it off. It's stuck together

Loosen "all" screws and pull firmly. The shell jams a little.

@@NorbertThomauske I did that and the bottom part was still stuck. But also many of the plastic screw eyelets broke off. I cleaned everything out and screwed back into the eyelets that still worked. So far the the plastic case holds and machine still works

Cool Danke für das Video! Kommt man an die Platine, ohne die "Glocke" abzuziehen. Bei mir geht kein Licht mehr und Lüfter laufen auf vollen Touren (Wenn das NT eingesteckt ist), könnte das ein vergleichbares Problem sein?

Die Glocke muss ab! Sonst geht das Gehäuse nicht drüber. Werkzeug gibt es bei ebay. Könnte sein, dass da auch ein Transistor kaputt ist. Einfach mal die Stecker von den Transistoren abziehen. Aufpassen: Immer vorher das Netzteil abziehen, Stecker ab und Netzteil wieder anschließen, usw.. Sonst kommt es vielleicht zu einem Kurzschluss. Transistoren habe ich noch ...

Danke. Wieland dauert denn der Tausch? Bist du außerhalb der 2jährigen Garantie? Was musst du für das Tauschgerät bezahlen?
Fall bei Garmin ist am Laufen...

Leider sind die Transistoren nicht das Problem gewesen… was könnte denn noch defekt sein? Fehler ist identisch wie im Video
