Hello, could you please let me how to which model did you replace? I have the problem with edco lockring, and the problems that diameter is not the same like shimano + it is impossible to buy it even from tacx
@@JustAdelaideRacing No you can't. The edco's a strange kind of design that campagnolos and sram/shimano can fit, however if you have a sram or shimano cassette you will need the edco lock ring. You'll also need the edco lock ring if you have a campagnolo cassette and want it installed properly.
@@cyclingSausage just got a used tacx neo with a multisys freehub installed but without cassette. I got the lockring, but my SRAM/Shimano Cassette tighten Thingy doesnt fit the lockring. Can you tell me which tool i need?
Thanks!!
Helpful. Thank you.
What kind of grease do you use for the Shimano body?
I use the Park Tool Polylube grease

Do you know whether or not it´s possible to switch to a shimano-specific freehub? instead of the edco
My understanding is you can't.
Yes, there is, but not any SHimano hub. It has to be the one sold by TACX on their website. tacx.com/product/spare-part-shimanosram-body/
@@SmartBikeTrainers i had a edco one and i bought the shimano only from tacx and just installed and works perfect.....
@ncalma, do you know if it compatible with shimano cassette lockring? Edco lockring has different diameter
i change to shimano only from shimano in my tacx neo, and now it works PERFECT!!!! the edco one was terrible....
The Shimano one is so much better. Glad you were able to get it working 👍

@@inv2004 Most cassettes will come with a lockring, so you can just use a standard lockring from an old cassette.
