The Donkey Kong Country series is one of the few snes games that has digitized sprites that isn't just a gimmic and is genuinely fun and most importantly has some KICK ASS MUSIC
I always preferred the music from the Genesis and NES over the SNES. The SNES sounded like the music was being run through a cheap hollow box. There was no presence. Honestly the highs sounded muddled, mids were ok at best and the low end was lacking when compared to Genesis titles. SNES never reached the level of The Golden Axe series or Streets of Rage series. The Super Metroid OST is a great price but it sounds like trash.. compare it to how it sounds in the mega drive.. it’s night and day.
