Guys the original composer is uploading a lot of videos on her youtube channel where she plays those lovely soundtracks on the piano, she's barely getting views so make sure to check her channel out! Her name is Michiru Yamane.
It’s hard being skele in the castlevania world. So many beasties are stronger than you. At any moment an adventurer or Belmont could bust through the door and turn you into a pile of bones easily. This is life and may as well take some time for yourself to look at what illusory beauty the castle offers waiting for the inevitable slaying.
castlevania, like silent hill and other konami games, has an oddly peaceful quality about it sometimes, despite the morbid subject matter. this is perfect to listen to anytime, but especially around Spooktober (right around the corner!)
@@lemonscentedgames3641 Well, Michiru Yamane left by herself, and the castlevania musical "essence" left with her somewhat. You can play Bloodstained, Igarashi and Yamane worked on the game together so the castlevania game and musical essence is right there, with the cringe story and all.

So glad that Password from Castlevania 4 made the list. The song combined with the opening cutscene of the castle and Simon cracking his whip at the gates is forever burned into my memory
3:50 I love the transition into SCIV's "Waterfalls". The first two tracks comfort us into thinking this will be an elegant, classical playlist. Then those two piano chords hit us on the head, "Dun DUNNNN" and remind us that this is still Castlevania. It may be calm, but it is not safe. We still have brutal journey ahead of us.
Castlevania is my favorite video game series. One of the many reasons I love it so much is because of the music. Even though you're fighting for your life it gives the areas so much ambiance you just want to pull up a chair and sip some tea while taking in your surroundings.
It’s not just that it has great music, it’s that each composition is looked at as a piece with it’s own name and can appear in later games. You never know what they’re going to put in there.
Lost Painting made me cry instantly! That kind of cry that the tears simply falls down without any expression. This is such an intense nostalgia... Those golden moments of childhood/teenage years... Damn, music and memory have such a strong bond in the brain, and how it opperates it in neurological terms with this burst of emotion by this trigger!

CastleVania having excellent music is nothing new but I'm glad to see all the CV64 love in this playlist. An underappreciated title by non (and some) CastleVania fans.
This was my first CastleVania. It's in my opinion one of the most atmospheric and especially the music. It's very particular. The OST highlights such an atypical title. It has its problems, basically in the tech department. The physics is funky, player movement control is clunky especially jumping mechanics, collision detection with platforms is unpredictable and the camera movement control is just trash. But goddamn my 8 year old self was so scared of playing this game. I also didn't have the Controller Pak so I couldn't ever save the damn file. It was basically a roguelike with permadeath once I shut down the console I lost all my progress so I could never made important progress. This perceived danger incremented the spookyness of the game. Many many years later I downloaded a 64 emu and CV64 rom and started playing, this time using key binding insta savings like checkpoints to offset the frustrating poor implemented mechanics regarding platforming. I got very far but never finished the game. Some day I'll restart another session and finish this game once and for all, and play the sequel, Legacy of Darkness. I also made an exchange with a classmate who had an actual Controller Pak. I gave him, temporarily my CastleVania and he gave me Duke Nukem 64... lol. And the asshole never returned it! I really like that this skeleton knows when it's time to sit down and smell the roses (coffee). He's just taking break. Listen, just because the lord of darkness, Dracula, offers a competitive salary and 401K to every monster that Hector brings to life doesn't mean that this skeleton isn't entitled to his legally required hour lvnchbreak and two unpaid 15 minutes breaks. They have sick days in Castlevania, but you gotta accrue them. And this guy is still sorta new. I wouldn't recommend overworking yourself when you're employed by one of the most evil forces around, but there is also a Belmont that shows up every 100 years or so. YES, you might be saving money for your skeleton family to finally own a home, but you see how this market has gotten. 100 years is a blink upon the face of the eternity that it is to save up a decent downpayment on a cottage near wherever the Castle is parked this century.

Thanks for putting this music together. I have been a fan of Castlevania since NES's Castlevania 2. This series has some of the best gaming music ever.
That was fricking whup, batch. Made me feel like my brother was playing these games right beside me. The Gameboy Advance ones were golden.
Amazing song list! This brings me memories of Castlevania Symphony of the Night, what a timeless master piece!
Castlevania's ost never disappoint mr
Great compilation. Super Castlevania IV... amazing how complex and creative the tracks are for its time. Grew up with that game and its always sounded stellar everytime I hear it.
The game was insane in a technical level, despite the fact that it was almost a launch title for the SNES (it came out less than a year after the Super Famicom's release date).
Thanks for the visit
This video inspired me so much, I started my channel! Thank you and I will always be coming back to this!!
Thank you 💯💯💯
The best part of Castlevania is the iconic music - its nuts they dont really leverage that in the Netflix series!
Love me some skeleton chilling to some fresh brew. Thanks for the excellent mix.
Blue Serenade ❤. Such a relaxing, melancholic and beautiful melody. 🥰
Thanks for listening
I got nothing witty or special to say, but this puts a giant smile on my face. Thanks for the compilation.
honestly surprised no order of ecclesia tracks are in here. Jaws of a scorched earth is such a nice one to listen to.
I know right? I thought I would find "Wandering the Crystal Blue" in here.
Both of those tracks would be great in this set!
A brilliant series.
12:39 Lost Painting
50:38 Wood Carving Partita
Both are my all time favorite Castlevania music!
I've played through SOTN so many times... if it was just the music I would . But everything about that game keeps me coming back.
Lost Painting is a masterpiece bro.
