Jimmy, 21years ago I got sciatica. Sold my 240Z since lifting off the head was the final straw. Lessons (free and worth it): Best to worst positions: lie on floor with knees bent, standing, sitting in straight back chair with feet flat on floor. Never squat. Never bring a knee to your chest while standing. Strengthen your core (crunches but no sit ups; lift shoulder off floor only). Walking is good, but never jog(buy an elliptical); no impact sports, no planks or other exercises that put your spine in shear. Sleep on your side with a thin pillow holding your knees and feet parallel with your spine and neck (get a suitably thick pillow). I had to learn all this. I bought a sports car last year and am back enjoying my hobby. Hopefully your sciatica is less chronic. Best wishes

Wow, there's a Mk2 MR2 Spider in the race at 1:52:00. Those are super rare! It's always cool how many rare and obscure cars made it into the older Gran Turismo games.
I did this challenge recently with a Daihatsu Move. I just had to use a box, there was no other choice. Came as far as some race at Laguna Seca against all kinds of Vipers and Mustangs, smoked the lot.
I remember modding the shit out of the gt3000. Thing was so fast it was uncontrollable lol
3000GT/GTO. Was my favourite car on this, with racing mods in the purply-blue
That and the Supra, both tapping 1,000 HP.
Stupidly powerful cars.

I know there's very little chance of you seeing this Jimmer, but for the next time you crack out GT2, you should look into using some 16:9 codes to have the image be properly displayed. Also, 60fps codes are out there too. Pair both of them with Beetle HW for perfect geometry on games and the game would look amazing.
Duckstation and latest GT2 codes from Silent are the way to go emulation wise with GT2. Most significant is the 8MB console + car and track level of detail codes combined with 60fps and widescreen make for the best modern GT2 possible

yo how yall even get gran turismo 2 to work, only emulator it works on for me is epsxe and it just goes black after the copyright screen, disc and iso both just don't work for some reason
hey Jimmer, next time you come to have a tube of Pringles, get some A4 paper and fold it lengthways down the middle, then curl it to fit inside the tube so the pringles are beneath it, turn the tube on it's side and pull the makeshift 'tray' out

Jimmer I had a similar issue with my cam (c920) check to see if theres a "Low Light Compensation" option. Was washing everything out for me. Love the vid's bud. Been a pleasure to watch your progress into a real life racing career. Also, fun fact....... Im in Australia so I always miss the streams, and then you only ever put edited clips of the streams on this channel. The long videos are almost always unlisted. He usually does a premier like a day in advance, if you add that to your watch later it will save the full stream even while its unlisted

This brings back nightmares to when I saved over my 4k hours of gt2 play with crash bandicoo... I was 10 and cried for hours.

The best car you can get for the starting 10k is the FB RX-7. I believe you can beat the game with it.

However, as a Japanese I agree: in terms of cars, the 90s was one of the best eras of JDM history for its boxes and also the 276hp monsters

@@mazu_005 300ZX Z32 too. One of my favorite cars, but definitely cheating a bit. They tested it at 276 by turning VVT off. Mitsubishi was less inclined to go to such lengths, as they simply lied about the 3000 GT. So Mitsu 😂

In terms of how much power being needed to reach that Supra's top speed, a golf with 270bhp can hit 155mph so I don't think it's too far fetched for a wedge to go 15mph faster.

Hi, I always liked LFS more. RF's physics feels too artificial and cars are weirdly snappy. LFS had very good feedback even with a shitty MS sidewinder FFB wheel. You can feel all the pliability between the steering wheel and the ground.
In terms of AI, I think RF is a bit better.

The speed is pretty much doable for a stock car. Mark 2s with stock power hit 270km/h easy. I mean my Ford Sierra does 210 with 120hp. My Lexus LS430 hit 270 on the autobahn with about 2tons.
Even the newer seat cupras hit 270 with 230hp. The golfs did not with the same engine. They are restricted to 250km/h
