Jimmy, I know you love competitive racing and real life stuff (which I love) but NO-ONE does this kind of content better than you. Just fun videos with the brilliant commentary is A++ top tier TH-cam
The Dick Seaman special was quite successful during the twenties. When Dick bought the car, he had it modernized for the thirties, putting in a supercharged V8 and some new brakes, and it really held its own against the contemporary competition.
I work on the TV coverage for Goodwood and I'm amazed at how accurate that model is. They've even got the big screens in the right place! Kudos for the graphics overlay too.
I love all your content, I'll be honest though... Your latest videos bring me back to the basics of where I first started watching you content 5 years ago. Love this new from old content, Jimmer! More of this!
happy to see you are doing well now jimmy. remembered the old days when you were struggling a bit. hope you are going to be here for many years to come.
This is excellent content! More please! Also - there's a really good mod of Prescott Hill Climb kicking about - it would be great to see you setting times up there too!
I miss the iRacing endurance races you used to do. I know they probably take a lot of your time, but there’s something about hanging out in chat with you and watching your stints that makes me happy 😊 cheers Jimmers
Congrats on the announcement Mr Broadparent. Kids gonna have a great mum and dad 😊 also need to get myself down to Goodwood some year to see this in the flesh.
What I want the return of the nerdy content. I get that these types of videos like this one or the 5 craziest AC cars are good for a wide audience, but you said that you want an excuse for yourself to drive the some cars. Personally, I like your content from 2019 the most and would love to see more things like it. Minimal editing, just simracing and your incredible commentary. I especially love your video where you finally beat 6:11, I've watched it tens of times. Additionally, I loved your streams and highlights uploads of srol events. Regardless, I'll always support you as your content got me through really tough times and introduced me to 2 of my biggest passions in life, simracing and endurance racing, I'll feel thankful for that.
18:34 An example of the very slight, but quite noticable black streaks that come off tyres (usually while cornering) from the use of TAA. I don't use it as honestly find it distracting. It's so slight here you might not have even noticed but going around a corner with a pack of cars ahead it's visually odd and as said, distracting. I turn off extra FX and use 4x MSAA and 'Original' AA Post processing option with '2' original motion blur. It's perfect. Try me
1. Amazing Goodwood video (again 🤫 don't tell anyone) 2. Congratulations again on becoming a dad and Congratulations to Annie for becoming a mum, you and her are gonna such amazing parents I can hardly wait 😁😁😁❤
I personally love these car faceoff videos, RBR rally videos, The sim racing steward videos. Any video where you get to sit down and enjoy scenarios you otherwise might not be able to do IRL. Any Jimmer video is a good Jimmer video, though 😃👌
Can you imagine how fun it must have been 100 years ago to go from horses and trains being the fastest thing you might travel on to driving in personal automobiles and motorcycles? It must have been so fun!
I still wanna see you do some time trials, but where you randomize the setup! So everything from randomized tires on each wheel, to random gear ratio, tire preasure, toe angles... See if you can guess how the cars are gonna drive before you set off, and just have fun with cars set up by Johnny after 2 bottles of Jack D!
What do I want to see from this cahnnel. I think your content shines when you are having fun. So anything really from rally to tarmac to IRL stuff I think there is a good portion of us who will watch just about anything you post. But I must say I did very much enjoy the days of the Jimbo and Bailey do 6 hours in a prototype, so maybe some more online racing with your mates in iR, asseto or LMU would be really cool to watch if you stream it. Also massive congrats on the child to be, I'm sure you'll be an amazing father
Do whatever league race u want Jimmer. Its always entertaining to watch your streams and videos. If I had to say, then do a race with the old gt1 prototypes or something with the gt cars like Viper and that Ferrari
I just looked it up and you weren’t kidding, there really was a British racer in the 30s named Dick Seaman. I didn’t think I’d ever see a name more unfortunate than Dick Butkus, but that definitely is.
Would love to see you host a virtual Goodwood Revival get all the classic cars out I find it some of the best racing out there! seeing you doing some league races would be awesome. Possibly some coaching?/car setup what each bit does etc?
Would love to see you drive a Ferrari 512 BB LM up Goodwood... or anywhere. One of the best sounding Ferraris imo. Flat-12 goodness from the early 80s!
jimmy, similar to the ginetta g56 we on the short ovals of britain have ginettas in our national hotrods, built ford zetec, pinto or duratec engines on carbs pushing 200-230 horsepower on sicks weighing around 600-700kg. we have a great assetto corsa league that runs these along with other british short oval formulas.
"Comment what you want to see" said Jimmy.
A mark 2 Ford escort rally car lap of the nordschleife. I've literally been asking for that for years.
A race would be more fun
I recall seeing smth along those lines 4 years ago smh
Oh my god yes. Please.

Jimmy Dadbent!!!!!
Am I missing something? What happened when I left for the milk?
@@STRI92 He announced he is becoming a father
Jimmy has NOT been wearing his virginity protection gloves. Disappointed.
The gloves stopped working a little while ago, why wear them now
I think the fact that he's going to be a dad confirms why. 😆
He doesn’t need them, he’s a dad now lmao
he has a baby on the way 😉
Such a shame, you get five uses, one for each finger.
And I Quote “Oscario Pastri”
Flavio briatore too
Congratulations to you and your Mrs Jim!
Jimmy: "Feels like a speed running attempt."
Aren't all time trials technically speed running attempts?
with all the rules and penalties its more of a glitchless% run. true any% would be closer the unlimited category in things like pikes peak
Thanks! Just a little something as a token gesture towards the new arrival to the family.
Thank you man
Congrats on the baby jim

They might give you an engine, given they don’t need those anymore.
No, no I don't.
No harm in trying

Congrats on the pregnancy both. I can tell you, it's the best feeling in the world. :)
Jimmy, the last Renault to win both titles, was the following year, 2006 with the R26. The V8 powered one.
