You don't get spots at the Comedy Store just because you went to the right school and no one can dig up any dirt on you, you have to actually be good. To be a politician you just have lived boring, pampered life and have a lot of money.

Is it as bad as it was for our parents and grandparents, no we have made progress, but we aren't there yet.

Disagreeing with the BLM movement is just common sense. The movement lost any credibility as a civil rights movement the second it condoned violence. Also, it was doomed to fail from the jump. Not because black lives don't matter, they do. But because when you specifically say black lives it implies an exclusivity that black lives are the only ones that matter. Not sure how that truth still eludes people....

I'm no historian at all so I did a little google search and found that some people say that slavery started in the American colonies on 1619 but many say it started earlier. So it's not talking about when it ended. Which makes me wonder why people say it happened 400 years ago in the first place. I think it just stuck because it's a famous phrase or something. You know people don't actually fact check at all.
