I love when comedians hold things while performing. It helps to build anticipation. Like Che with the cup, or Chapelle with a cigarette. They get so close to drinking, or lighting it, and then they stop! It's mildly infuriating, but also somehow...enjoyable? Notice how he takes a sip once he gets the applause break!
