Watching Dr. BAKER jump and hop. I started jumping rope today. I am going to add hopping. I really appreciate you telling us why you do certain exercises. I do 90% carnivore, lifting and hiit. Almost 70 and trying to slow down the clock.
I'm 61 and rediscovered surf and jetty fishing when covid shut everything down. For me jetty fishing provides a huge benefit in this line of physical fitness. Jumping from rock to rock and climbing up and down the rocks requires coordinated acceleration and deceleration just for safety. At first I had to scootch around on my backside for the iffy parts but now I'm jumping around maybe not how I could as a kid but better than I ever even remotely expected when I started during covid.
15 minutes on a vibration plate. Then hop on treadmill. Moderate weight lifting after. Vibration plate works muscles, allegedly activates stem cells, drains the clogged lymph system with vibration, builds bone density. The perfect lazy man’s warmup.
been focusing on flow in ju jitsu class lately, going to have to teach that again tonight as everyone, including people under half my age, move like an armful of dusty old bricks 🧱

It was great fun chatting all things PLYOS and health longevity
I definitely need some help with just trying to figure out I can even do any of this without having a problem with reoccurring hernia surgery
Same ...
My inguinal hernia is playing up again...
I had two operations so far..
I’m literally living with one for over a year now. I’m finally wearing a hernia truss and doing small simple exercises that heal it. Feels good

I wish I could be able to do some of these things but I’ve unfortunately had 7 hernia surgery’s and I’m afraid to even try 😢
Keep the info coming. We need it.
Full?
Does it mean we should bounce more ?
