The reason I watch Vegas Matt everyday is because he is hilarious, authentic, and they basically make it feel like I’m gambling with them. So it scratches my itch and then I don’t have to gamble
Hey guys, Matt sounds like he’s underwater on his Mic. I think something is off on the microphones. It’s not horrible, but I wanted to let you know it sounds watery on headphones. Love yall!
I don’t know this guy or his content but the recent influx of gambling influencers promoting prize picks and various other forms of gambling/sports betting is gonna have very negative effects on these young men that are easily influenced. Financial literacy is already bad enough in America and the promotion of gambling by influencers onto these young men is making it even worse.
I know someone who does this full time here in Vegas. He quit his corporate job as a CPA and now just plays slots all day knowing and understanding all the machines and player reward point systems. He has top status everywhere and gets free everything from the casinos he gambles so much. It's crazy how many people now do this full time.
He has to have a way to beat the built in house edge then in order for it to be mathematically profitable. The only way to beat the house is on variance in the short term (dumb luck) or if you are getting more chips than you're spending on your buy in and have a way to squeeze out a profit there between the bonus and house edge accounting for variance and volatility, or if you're making more on a social media and marketing presence from gambling than youre losing to it like these guys. If youre doing it the first way and it's not just for entertainment with a predefined amount you're fully willing to set fire to then you're doing it wrong and falling for the house's trap.
After reading book titled The Elite Society's Money Manifestation, I finally understood why so many people struggle with money. It reveals stuff that most people don’t even know about how money really works. Has anyone else read it?
Entrepreneurs are gamblers by nature. Entrepreneurs are willing to lose everything, and most do. Thing is entrepreneur will do it over and over until the idea works, in a casino that is a losing strategy but in life it is a winning strategy.
I came here to watch this specific interview (I am a daily watcher of Vegas Matt channel) and you have me now interested in your podcast and other interviews. Great show guys!
Such a great interview from start to finish. I truly enjoy watching Vegas Matt, EJ, WBG, and W2Jesus. Their channel is very inviting and fun. No stress.
Dude is like "I only needed $30,000 from my parents in the 80s once", I don't know a single person who could get 30k from their parents today and that's a lot less today.
Almost anyone could get a 30 000$ personal loan today, if you havent completely screwed over your finances. Also anyone who is smart wouldn't need said 30 000$ loan, the only reason matt did was because he bought things he went into debt on things he couldn't afford.
I once played at the craps table. I bought in with a 100 and then a guy next to me was very tall. The guy across from the dealer was in a sports jacket. I rolled then 30 minutes afterwards they came and gave me some of their chips as a tip. I got 3k in tips. The tall guy was Macimbe Montombo who played for the Denver Nuggets (may be spelled wrong) and the other guy had a Aggie ring who owned 3 restaurants on the San Antonio River walk. Their chips was 1000 to 10 thousand. I was star struck at that moment.
Was in Vegas in 3months ago and saw Matt with EJ. Not 12 hours later playing roll to win craps (only crap they had) dealer mismarked a 7 when we rolled a hard 6 and couldn’t revert his input. We sat in one spot for 45 minutes and they claimed machine malfunction. They did pay us out for the mismark, however claimed they would not/could not remark the 10 numbers we already hit up top for the make em all bet we were all betting on.. honestly still makes me mad today; shoulda called the gaming board/commission.
If you have to pay taxes on the wins. You should be able to claim tax back on loss. Considering that gambling is your profession. So I would disagree that you cannot claim on the loses.
@VegasMatt you're awesome man! Thats why people watch. You are authentic. Its super obvious. You're funny af man. Gpt slme good laughs out of this video
Don Johnson is who you were thinking of, he made deals with casinos. There is an interview with him over at Blackjack Apprenticeship. He has awesome stories
@@TheIcedCoffeeHour haha I know just thought VM might get a chuckle if he sees it. He's not getting more in comps but ( bet the YT & merch revenue is grerat

Casinos don't pump in oxygen. That would make the casino into a bomb. That would be one way to get rid of smoking in casinos. What they do is have massive air exchangers with hepa filters and they add scent to the air.
He’s like, “My life was pretty hard. I had to ask my parents for $30,000” like It was like nothing back then 😅😅. These people don’t know what it’s like to come from poverty.
1:14:30 I dont care HOW rich you are...when you lose $250,000, $500,000 in an HOUR, it has GOT TO hurt. I've seen guys I know dump $100,000 on a trip without caring....to me, thats still a ton for a weekend of fun. I've NEVER seen anyone I know dump $500,000 in person. EVER. I know some NICE-private-jet-flying people that have the Bellagio villas waiting for them to show up....unannounced. and they dont come near that.
10 Million at 5% and you can live ok. I save money on my government pension of $1350 a fortnight. And Matt has a net worth of 42 M . And now makes who knows how much off TH-cam. Life must be tough at the top.
We had some minor audio issues in the first 20’ish minutes of the episode. The issue disappears right after that point! Sorry about that!
It’s ok I didn’t even notice!
All good, thought it was an issue with my airpods til I saw this comment.
Same lol. Can you pin this comment?
Good guest here graham
Very good episode except for the ending you abruptly ended it
Thank you for having us on and for all the effort you put into your channel, it shows.

No vegas Matt, does not glamorise gambling, he said once "people don't gamble, watch us lose our money instead.
I’ve been watching Vegas Matt every day for a year. Glad to see Graham and Jack finally make it by being able to interview him.

Yep - that’s only in the first 20 minutes, problem is fixed after that!

Wrong!
They have several interesting Las Vegas TH-camrs and this is one of them.

After reading book titled The Elite Society's Money Manifestation, I finally understood why so many people struggle with money. It reveals stuff that most people don’t even know about how money really works. Has anyone else read it?
I worked with my dad for decades and the family or group dynamic that "works well" is what sets channels or teams of people apart...
Entrepreneurs are gamblers by nature. Entrepreneurs are willing to lose everything, and most do. Thing is entrepreneur will do it over and over until the idea works, in a casino that is a losing strategy but in life it is a winning strategy.
Best investment he ever made was multi level marketing
Who cares. Everything's a lie. Just enjoy the ride.😊
Matt wants to talk about literally anything other then his finances early on and where he made his money 😂
Yeah, bc there's a video of him promoting pyramid schemes. I think coffeezila or someone has it up easy to find
Was it me or did anyone else hear👂 a fart at 1:12:20 lol. I think it was Vegas Matt because you could tell by looking at his face 😂
I appreciate his openness about his finances...
They found a way to support their addictions with TH-cam money. Without that income he could go through his money would be gambled away.

If you have to pay taxes on the wins. You should be able to claim tax back on loss. Considering that gambling is your profession. So I would disagree that you cannot claim on the loses.
My understanding is you can right off your losses against gambling winnings but not against active income from things outside of gambling.
I love Vegas Matt channel and he’s a super nice guy! Instead of sales, he should just talk about being part of VEMMA MLM ( good or bad).
