- Daemon Targaryen the rough prince was now king of the stepstones and the narrow sea thanks to his partner in war, Corly Velaryon, The Sea Snake. But after giving up his crown Daemon found himself quickly losing power. But a solution presented itself to the Rough Prince. Marriage, one to give him back the power he had lost. And so it was that Daemon Targaryen would take to wide, Laena Velaryon. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on Geroge R R Martins A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

It's strange to know that Vhagar and Caraxes did all of that traveling together. To only slaughter each other over Harrenhal years later. I wonder if dragons can even form a friendship like bond with each other. Or are they really just extensions of their riders at the time.
i tend to think its a mix of both, i suspect having the rider on them creates a link between them that dampens and frenship or bond they have with anyone else. Would be interesting to see how the dragons act in house of the dragon
@@WorldOfWesteros I think the ultimate tragedy would have been if Balerion had lived and fought for the blacks against Vhagar. The two dragons who built the Targaryen Dynasty adds to its destruction.

Didn't the valyrians practice bloodmagic to create a bond between the riders and the dragons? I believe that ultimately it comes to the relationship that one rider has with the other. If there is hate he feels it. And that's why I think Drogon didn't kill Jon Snow at the end of the GoT, Daenerys didn't hate John so Drogon was kind of confused because he didn't understand what really happened. But who knows.

Harwin Strongs’ kids would have to be exposed as his and stripped of their claim in order to prevent a civil war. On top of that the king could command the greens to invade Dorne in the hopes of satisfying their ambitions. Nothing unites like a common enemy.
Very much so, there was so much more to the Green / Hightower ambitions than Iron Throne, they had been manoiving their position like this since the conquest.
So his daughter would be executed for high treason

I personally believe in the theory, that the valyrian created the dragon by combining the wyvern, firewyrms, mixed in with there own blood that why they wanted to keep there bloodline pure as much as possible

Off the top of my head i don't remember reading anything about a connection, however there similarities with the name has got me questioning it.
The Velaryon boys had “common features”? I’m convinced they are Criston Cole’s kids then since he is of common birth and that the Strong are a mislead by grrm.
Depending on the timeline between episode 4 and 5 of house of the dragon I’m seriously starting to think at least Jace could be Cole’s. The timeline kinda works in terms of the book.

@@greenforce68 did you watch the show? 😂😂😂 She is around 17/18 years old when she get married. The actrice change is after 10 years, it means that she is then 27/28 years old. Jaecerys is around 7 years old in episode 7. do the math🤷🏽 you cant be pregnant for 3 years🥱

Velaryons being dark skinned. It's too help visualize that rhaenyras children are not velaryons.

That's a show creation though. Raenys has dark hair as she is part Baratheon. Viserys' first wife Aemma Arryn also had brown hair. So there can still be that seed of doubt that Rhaenerya's kids are true born, even though we know as an audience that's not likely.
