the song is actually from 2010 exactly :) they were already 2 years into their career by then. so no, i wouldn't consider them rookies anymore at that point. so for the members you keep asking about: the one you recognize by his voice is onew (oh-nyu, real name jinki), leader of the group and the oldest, considered to be the other main/lead vocal after jonghyun (who u can see do the long note here and being void of the back part of his shirt in the mv). the one with the crazy hair is key (real name kibum) who is part of the 'rapline' but also vocalist, mostly known for his sense in fashion and nowadays as a tv/variety show personality. the guy coming thru with the raps is minho, who was mainly casted for his good looks initially and has also become a great actor, but besides rap he too does vocals as all of shinee do nowadays. taemin our main dancer you know. and jonghyun our main vocal is the half shirtless guy with power belts, great songwriting skills and a heart of gold. :)

Add to that the good old cloud background that you'll see more if you decide to check out more of the old dance practices from Shinee and some other groups too. It also was one of the first dance practices in kpop (usually is credited as the first one because it was the first one that actually became popular).

The song in the dance practice is a bit different from the MV. It's an earlier version before it was finalized. I think that shows how it's actually kind of like, a real "dance practice" rather than just filming the choreo to post after the thing already came out.
Shinee's vocals are phenomenal ✨ You will really enjoy their harmonies.. Not forgetting their performances ✨✨ They have worked hard to earn the title of kings of K pop and continue to do so...

But now its relisten time. Plus, I love to hear what u think of each song. Taemin bias here and OT5. I did not like this one on 1st listen. Now its not bad. Taemin looks so pretty. I love his long hair. He was a beautiful boy. But yeah that hairstyle on Key is a no from me too,lol. Great vocal harmonies. I liked some of the fits. Taemin's jacket was cool. To SHINee, dance practices are really just dance practices. They save their energy for where it counts, for MVs and live performances. What you saw in their dance practice is only a fraction of what this dance is really like. People never really understand why "Lucifer's"choreography gets so much hype, until they see SHINee perform it live. That is why SHINee are live performance legends.
Fun fact: As you can see, this dance practice was before SM had their new fancy giant gold door dance practice room that all their dance practices are now filmed in -- like you have seen in all of NCT's dance practices, as well as Kai's, Taemin's and aespa's dance practice videos, etc. Before that room was built, you always knew when it was an SM artist because of that iconic cloud wallpaper. The cloud background in all of SM's most iconic dance practice videos is classic SM.

This song was my gateway into SHINee and Kpop in early 2018! I heard it in the Tv show Lucifer and I was curious. Fell into that SHINee rabbit hole so fast!
the song is actually from 2010 exactly :) they were already 2 years into their career by then. so no, i wouldn't consider them rookies anymore at that point. so for the members you keep asking about: the one you recognize by his voice is onew (oh-nyu, real name jinki), leader of the group and the oldest, considered to be the other main/lead vocal after jonghyun (who u can see do the long note here and being void of the back part of his shirt in the mv).
the one with the crazy hair is key (real name kibum) who is part of the 'rapline' but also vocalist, mostly known for his sense in fashion and nowadays as a tv/variety show personality.
the guy coming thru with the raps is minho, who was mainly casted for his good looks initially and has also become a great actor, but besides rap he too does vocals as all of shinee do nowadays.
taemin our main dancer you know. and jonghyun our main vocal is the half shirtless guy with power belts, great songwriting skills and a heart of gold. :)
While "Replay" was the first videoed DP, this is the dance practice that started the whole trend of DP videos. What you have to understand is that it REALLY was a dance practice, so it wasn't as polished as you see today with what is called "dance practices". That's why you see Taemin (mostly) and the others more relaxed.
That makes a lot of sense.

That Dance Practice is legendary xD Taemin's shirt was just a black-white striped shirt that just messed with the camera. Add to that the good old cloud background that you'll see more if you decide to check out more of the old dance practices from Shinee and some other groups too. It also was one of the first dance practices in kpop (usually is credited as the first one because it was the first one that actually became popular).

It shows how versatile they truly are and skilled in english by doing cover of "I'll be yours" (Jason Mraz) , "Missing you" (Puff Daddy) by ,and Juliette. SOO fun to watch!! ( Minho is not participating in this programme, but KEY is doing a fantastic job in rapping in english!!) -this is from 2010, so Taemin is just 16 years old!! Imagine that!! The song in the dance practice is a bit different from the MV. It's an earlier version before it was finalized. I think that shows how it's actually kind of like, a real "dance practice" rather than just filming the choreo to post after the thing already came out.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. I am so excited to start watching ur Shinee content. I recently got to watch a reaction with all the MVs. So i am halfway caught up i think. But now its relisten time. Plus, I love to hear what u think of each song. Taemin bias here and OT5. I did not like this one on 1st listen. Now its not bad. Taemin looks so pretty. I love his long hair. He was a beautiful boy. But yeah that hairstyle on Key is a no from me too,lol. Great vocal harmonies. I liked some of the fits. Taemin's jacket was cool. So glad u watched the dance practice. I just recently learned that they started that trend. Thank god for it because i adore all the BTS ones. The choreo is so good.
