Taemin was 17 when Shinee recorded Lucifer. The song won several awards and was nominated for best choreo that year.

these hairstyles were so iconic. especially taemins long hair. (still miss it honestly lmao.) that’s the thing I love the most about SHINee is how eccentric they are and they are always inventing and trying out new things that people haven’t really seen before. whether that be clothes, concepts, hair, makeup, etc. It’s always something different and I love that. they’re the kings of trendsetting.:)
When the teasers for this came out i was also shocked about taemin's hair lol. But i really liked how he wore it in a ponytail in a lot of performances and it's still one of my favourite looks on him!
I think he wore it in a ponytail so it wouldn’t be in his face so much while performing haha. but he looked amazing with it down as well.

Y'all are bringing out these older videos. Shinee was in that era. I think about Heartbeat, Without U, I'll Be Back, or Tik Tok from 2PM when I see the hair and makeup. What about 2PM? I haven't seen you do a reaction to them. Since Chansung is back and Junho is coming home from the military in the spring, they are talking about doing a comeback. By that time Jun K's solo album will be over. I think Taecyeon's drama should be done too. I am looking forward to it. You could do a couple of their videos before the comeback happens. 🙂👍

Actually it's funny because in the Final Fantasy you happened to pick, they actually have LESS over-the-top hair than Jjong in Lucifer XD. It's the *ONE* FF game where no characters wear their hair in the shape of an explosion.

fashion aside, this song is Legendary .. those harmonies and Jonghyuns singing are phenomenal
also as someone who has been to kpop auditions quite a bit, i will say they always did the lucifer choreo for the dance auditions. for many years, many 'contestants' would use that choreo for auditions.

anyways, have you guys tried out infinite, b.a.p, u-kiss, 2pm, dgna, jewelry, the grace, wonder girls, kara, and t-ara? just a ton of golden era groups who i will confidently say are better than any recent mainstream kpop.

Looking back like this and laughing at hairstyles or fashion choices is nothing new guys. People look back at most older music and celebrities (and even themselves) and say what were they thinking? This song and thus coreography was and is revolutionary!!! At 2010 it was out of this world... This performance made K-pop jump light years ahead... This song and dance is the heart of kpop. One of the best K-pop songs and coreographies ever, EVER..
